JAELYNN POV

Zahrie and I was on the way to getting more donuts. I've now accustomed her to get donuts with me. At this point I think she's just being nice to me because she knows I'll have a box of donuts. Sad to say but it's true.

Looking in the rear view mirror "Zahrie are you excited we going to get donuts?". She nodded quickly. "But we can't tell daddy about this okay?". She didn't respond she just gave me a look.

"Don't look at me like that! You better not say nothing to daddy about our donut trip!" She smiled and didn't say nothing. But she will tell on me though.

We got to the donut place and I ordered two boxes. Zahrie was bouncing up and down in her seat. She already knew what time it was. I put the boxes in the front seat so I could drive.

"Some?" I saw her little hand trying to reach for me.

"Wait until we get to the nail place, okay?" She nodded "okay".

My phone was going off the hook. Who the hell is blowing up my phone. I was trying to drive but the person wouldn't stop. Finally getting to the nail place I unblocked zahrie and she got out the car. "Let's go inside". She was eyeing the donuts. So I had to give her one.

Once inside I was trying to see what colors they had in store. My phone was ringing once again. "Oh my god what?!."

 
"Damn girl you take forever to answer your phone!" Renzo said.

"This better be life or death!" I said.

"Well sort of. Elijah is locked up!" He said.

"Zahrie come here! And what you mean he's locked up?!" I yelled.

"Listen relax no need to draw attention to yourself. But yeah he got pulled over and the cops found drugs in his car".

Face palming myself "this is why I keep telling him to lay off the weed!".

"Nah it wasn't weed. It was cocaine" he said. Oh hell no! I grabbed Zahrie hand and we left. I strapped her in and got in myself. When I tell you I speeding. I was getting a little hungry so I opened the box and grabbed a donut.

"Some?" Zahrie said. I gave her mine and grabbed another one for myself. How in the hell elijah going to get caught with cocaine? And when did he start doing coke?". Renzo gave me where Elijah was being held. Reaching there I got zahrie out and walked in there.

"I'm looking for Elijah James. You know he's tall and has massive tattoos everywhere" the woman pointed to down the hall. "He's there on your right". I walked as quickly as I could Renzo stopped me mid way. "Let me watch zahrie you don't want her to see her father like this". I nodded and handed her to him.

"Elijah?" I yelled.

"Jaelynn? I'm over here" I heard him say. I looked to my right and he's standing there. I slapped his hand "What the hell is wrong with you?". He mean mugged me "What the hell was that for?".

"You having cocaine in your car, dumbass" I yelled.

"Listen someone put that there. I've never done cocaine in my life. The only drug of choice is weed" he said.

The cop came over to me "ma'am—" I cut him off right there "I'm not that old". He cleared his throat "I'm sorry. Well is he with you?" Pointing to Elijah. I nodded "yes he is. When can he get out?". The cop shrugged "this is pretty serious. Right now I couldn't tell you anything. You'll have to wait".

"Listen here mister police man. I'm very moody and hungry. I'm about this close before I lose it. And on top of that I'm pregnant with twins and I have a little one over there. Today hasn't been my day. And I have donuts in the car waiting for me to devour them. I don't have time to wait".

He stood there dumbfounded "Well, Umm...". Raising my brow "do you know how it feels to be pregnant with twins?. I'm exhausted. Me standing here talking to you is making me tired".

"Let me to talk to the cop that pulled him over and I'll be right back" he said walking quickly. Elijah smiled "good job baby". Mean mugging him "you don't even talk to me!. Making me waste my time here".

About five minutes later the same cop came back. "Well the cop said there wasn't enough evidence to hold him so he is free to go. I smile "you did everyone here a huge favor... I'm proud of you. Cause if you didn't give me good news. I was setting this place on fire. Before you try and arrest me. That's the babies talking".

He raised his brow "okay... Elijah you are free to go". Elijah walked out the cell and hugged me "thank you so much baby".

I fanned him away from me "let's go! I'm tired and I have donuts to eat and zahrie is probably thinking about it". Looking for Renzo I couldn't find him. "Where the hell is Renzo now?". Elijah smiled "probably outside by the car". Oh no! I quickly walked outside to see zahrie in the front seat tearing away at the donuts. I fell to my knees and screamed "no!!!!!! My donuts!". Elijah tried to pick me up but he couldn't help but laugh at me.

"Renzo I'm going to kill you!" I yelled. He looked at me and then went to his car.

"We can always get more! Come on!" Elijah picked me up and walked me to the car. Crumbs everywhere. She was a mess but she was smiling. Lord these babies are going to kill me. And now I have to see who had the balls to plant drugs in Elijah's car.
