ELIJAH POV

It was me and zahrie today. She loves being with her daddy. Even though she got into some stuff earlier causing her to get a cut on her knee. She was so upset at herself. I had to hold her for a while until she calmed down and went back to playing.

Jaelynn has two clients to see today. She didn't want to being zahrie there like the last time she almost fought Alexis mother so it would be best to keep zahrie safe here.

"Daddy!" She handed me the bandaid container.

"Thank you princess" she smiled. Picking her up and putting her on the counter so I can put the bandaid on her knee.

"Better?" I asked. She nodded and I helped her down so she can go play.

Renzo walked into the kitchen and nodded "What's up?". I shrugged "nothing much, what's up with you?". Standing there with my arms crossed.

"Nothing much" he said.

"Listen I'm not going to sugarcoat nothing Jaelynn heard all the conversation between you and Jillian talking about killing Alexis" Renzo wide eyed me "say what?".

"You heard me! Is it true?" I asked.

He covered his mouth with his hand and just couldn't believe what I said "yeah it's true. But believe me when I say it wasn't suppose to go this far".

"Let's go in the living room. I have to watch zahrie she's been daring the last few hours" we walked into the living room to see zahrie playing with her toys.

Renzo took a seat on the couch and so did I. "So explain..."

"When Jaelynn was rushed to the hospital. Jillian was going crazy. She already knew in a way Jaelynn miscarried. She was livid with Alexis. I tried to calm her down but I only could do so much. When we went to hospital she kept blowing up my phone".

"Okay..."

"Well when we got home and you told her what she already knew that set her off. You went to bed she came up to me asking for assistance to scare Alexis. You know shake her ass up a little. But when we got there Alexis wasn't as cooperative as we thought she would be. She fought back. Jillian is a personal trainer her strength is amazing. She threw Alexis around like a rag doll. When things were getting out of control I tried to stop it. But Jillian had one thing in mind so she did it. Once Alexis was dead we didn't know what to do next. So we ran sacked the house to make it look like it was a robbery gone bad".

Covering my mouth at he just told me "that's one of hell of a friend".

"Right that's what I said" Renzo smiled. "Jillian feels ashamed to tell Jaelynn the truth. She doesn't want her to look at her any different for what she did. But she did it with the best interest of her best friend".

I nodded "I see that. Now did the cops speak to you both already?".

Renzo nodded "yeah we told them we was here with you and we was".

"Good! If they come back stick to your story. I'll be dames if Because you acted out of anger for what happened. That you'll be jailed for it. You got yourself a girl who will do anything for you there".

"What about Jaelynn?" Renzo asked.

"I'll talk to her and explain what you just told me. I think if I tell her she might understand better than seeing the bigger picture".

Renzo nodded "I hope so cause if not then Jillian will  have to face her fear and tell Jaelynn herself".

Rubbing my chin just thinking of what we all got ourselves into. All because of Alexis. I didn't think it would've gotten this far. Looking at zahrie play I knew I had to protect everyone involved.

Now explaining to Jaelynn everything will be the most work. Hopefully she will understand why Jillian did what she did. And move past it.

Jaelynn came home tired. I sat at the table feeding zahrie. "I need to talk to you". She looked at me and sat down "what?".

"Umm... I don't know how to tell you this" I said.

"You better not be telling me you're cheating on me because I will beat your ass" she said.

"No!!! I spoke to Renzo and told him you heard everything" she stood up "and why would you tell him that?!".

"Sit down, Listen to what he told me" I said. She took a seat and listened closely. I explained to her why Jillian did what she did and why Renzo was there to help.

"So they went to scare her and the bitch fought back so Jillian just killed her?" She asked.

I nodded "exactly".

"Wow! She is a ride or die bitch. I thought she as joking when she would say it. But she meant every word" she said.

"Yeah... But I think it'll be best if you talk to Jillian and let her know you understand where she's coming from".

Jaelynn nodded "yeah I should. See this is why I have you here to keep me thinking logically" she pinched my cheeks causing zahrie to giggle.

"That's all you have me here for?" I asked smirking.

"Don't even think about it! I have to think about what I'll have to say to Jillian" I couldn't help myself. I smacked her fat ass. She jumped "Elijah!".

Smirking "I couldn't help it. You ready yet to have another baby. Cause we can do that right now". Pulling Jaelynn in my lap and holding her there.

"Listen let me talk to Jillian first and then I'll answer your question" she got up.

"I'll be waiting" I yelled. Turning to zahrie "you know you want a sibling, right?". She just looked at me and smiled.
