Jaelynn POV

I'm so excited for today. My birthday party is going to be a big event. And I do have to say being pregnant this second time around hasn't been like the first. Thank you god.

Elijah has been in a good mood as well. So the vibes today have been good. Usually he tries to ruin my mood before any event. But he's being a good boy.

"Aww, look at my baby looking so pretty for mommy's party!" Pinching her cheeks. She swatted me away and turned her head into Elijah's chest.

"I already told you she's a daddy's girl" he joked.

"It's only because she's a day after you. Relax" fanning him away. "And how's the security for tonight?".

"Hopefully tight as hell. Last thing we both need is uninvited guest to show up making a scene".

"They better not. Or I will unleash the beast. And I don't want to either".

"You ain't unleashing nothing nowhere. So don't even think about laying a hand on anyone tonight" Elijah warned.

"I was joking, damn... laugh a little" he glanced at me with a serious look. "Sour puss". It's my day and all but believe me I'm not dressing up tonight like I usually would.

Walking into our room I see Elijah holding up a dress shirt. "Are you wearing that?" I asked. He nodded "what? You don't like it?".

"No I'm a little taken back. I'm usually the one who gets all dressed up. And look at you just taking on my role" I joked.

"It's my baby's day. I want to look nice for it" he smiled.

"Don't look too nice. I don't want to smack anyone for staring at you" I joked.

He walked up to me "promise me something". Raising my brow "what?".

"Promise me right here, right now... that you won't lay a hand on anyone. Doesn't matter if your tempted. You will not act ratchet tonight" he can't be serious.

"I promise..." he nodded and walked back to the closet. Such a weirdo.

My party was banging as it should be. Everyone was enjoying themselves along with myself. A few hours into the party Zahrie fell asleep. Poor thing couldn't hang. She looked so pretty.

"Baby? I'm going outside for a bit okay" Elijah yelled. I nodded and continued to dance my ass off. Not too crazy though.

Jillian and I was cutting it up on the dance floor. Especially since my song came on too. "This is my jam!". Singing along to the song as I dance.

Elijah POV

I needed fresh air. As long as Jaelynn was enjoying herself that's all that mattered to me. This venue definitely had a great view.

"Don't you think that shirt is a little too tight?" Someone said. Sighing to myself cause I recognized the voice.

"How and why are you here? I don't need anything going down tonight so you need to leave". She giggled "what is that Thot going to get upset?. She can trust that I won't try and get you back".

"Alexis you need to leave, now" I raised my voice slightly not trying to cause attention to myself.

"Or what?. Throw me out. Ooo I'm so scared that the big guy in the tight shirt will hurt me" she teased.

"Alexis I don't want Jaelynn to see you or smell you cause she will lose it. And it's the last thing she needs at the moment".

"You act like she's pregnant, again" she joked.

I didn't say anything.

"You did it twice on her. Wow! And she let you with no problem. Even when I tried to warn her about you. She's a dumbass".

Renzo came out but stopped when he saw Alexis. He shook his head and was hesitant to even go back inside. "Umm... Jaelynn is about to have cake. Damn man".

"Okay I'm coming. Alexis leave!" I yelled. She didn't budge she just watched renzo and I walk inside. Jaelynn motioned me to come over to her. "Take a pic of me, please?".

I nodded and got my phone out. She looked amazing tonight.

After everyone snapping pictures. Jaelynn walked over to me "why did you go outside for so long?".

"Needed some air that's all" it was the truth until a dark cloud came over to start shit.

That's when renzo turned to the same door we came through and noticed Alexis had invited herself inside. Where the hell was security when you need them?.

"Happy birthday Bitch!" Alexis yelled. Jaelynn looked peeked behind me and saw Alexis standing there with a smirk on her face. She looked up at me "I don't know if I can hold that promise".

"Don't pay her any attention". Wrapping my arm around her waist so she doesn't impulsively do something.

"Well damn be rude and not say anything back" Alexis said.

"Where is security?" Jaelynn yelled looking around. "We paid for security and when we need them they can't be found".

"Security don't scare me. And neither do you" she said.

"Alexis please... I've done beat your ass how many times? And you still don't get the point. I'm starting to think something isn't connecting in that brain".

"Jaelynn don't speak to her okay. She's just going to rile you up" Elijah warned.

"Elijah your momma called me the other day. She told me how she missed us together. And she don't see why you see in this thing here".

"Who's momma? Elijah don't have a momma. That woman who came to the house isn't his momma. She's just a thing taking up space. Just like yourself".

"I'm tired of your mouth. Step up, bitch" Alexis yelled.

"Why is she here?! Where did you find this one at?" Jaelynn asked me.

"Just please ignore her. She's just looking for attention from anyone".

"Apparently she keeps coming for you. So maybe you should do something. Like I don't know... choke her out".

"I said step up! You bitch! Come on" Alexis stood there ready for a fight. "That's why your own mother can't stand you. But I bet your daddy still loves you especially the way he touched you".

The trigger went off that shot Jaelynn out of my arm as she charged at Alexis. I ran to them both trying to pull Jaelynn off of her. They reminded me of two pit bulls going at each other.

It took me about five minutes to pull them apart. Alexis got up and wiped the blood from her nose. Jaelynn was panting but looking straight at Alexis. "You dumb bitch! When will you learn?" Jaelynn screamed.

Finally security showed up grabbing Alexis and roughly bringing her outside. Jaelynn looked up at me but before she could speak she fainted.

Delayed reaction hit me when I noticed she blacked out. I picked her up and noticed blood coming from her thigh. Confused it didn't hit me that something was wrong. Rushing her to the car and renzo getting in as well.

"What the hell happened?" Renzo asked.

"I have no idea but she's bleeding. We have to get her to the hospital now!" I yelled. Frantically driving like a maniac trying to get her to the hospital fast. I know I ran a couple of lights but this was an emergency.

Once we reached the hospital renzo ran inside to alert someone that we had a passed out person who needed assistance. A doctor ran to our car and saw Jaelynn passed out and blood. His face said it all for me.

That's when everything started going slow.
