Dear readers! I wrote this finally and I will give the next update shortly. If I would have written both together, it would have been too lengthy.

I hope you all like this one. My two exams are still left. Wish me luck.

Love❤️

Zoya was settled in the hall, all ready to go, playing candy crush on her mobile. She is waiting for Noor from last ten minutes. What's wrong with her? At first, when she told Noor about the dinner invitation, she gasped, then hugged her excitedly and then composed her weird self.

Zoya sighed, keeping her mobile on the table and stretched her arms.

“Noor…….”

“Coming Di....!”

“So… the dinner?”

“Haan Maasi....  I have met Aditya's mom before also. Back then I was very young. So, maybe she didn't recognise me. But now, she did, maybe. So, she is inviting me. I don't know clearly.” Zoya completed, as she leaned back on the sofa. Maasi nodded as she sipped her tea.

“Diiiii…..” Noor squealed, coming down.

“Finally! The princess graced us with her presence.” Said Zoya sarcastically, standing up.

“Di…. Woh...  I was late because of these stupid earrings!” Noor glared at her earring.

“Your mother would have been so happy looking at you both like this.” Maasi said, smiling.

The environment of the room turned gloomy, suddenly. Maasi regretted as soon as these words left her. She shouldn't have said that. She went with the flow and said. She and her sister always talked about how both the girls will turn out in future. Now, when both are same as their mother expected them to be, she is very happy. Hence, she said it.

Noor and Zoya weren't sad about missing their mother only. The thing that upset them is that Maasi will not stay with them. She can't. She have to return Lucknow, to her family and they shouldn't stop her. Though, Noor has got Zoya for herself, she wants Maasi to stay. They all know, Zoya fights with her guilt everytime. The guilt which is not completely justified. She is just being foolish.

“You guys are already late! Run! Run! I don't want you both to leave a bad impression! Go!” Maasi hurried them away. They laughed coming out at their aunt's weird way of distracting them.

Noor sat in the driver seat and Zoya on the passenger seat. The sisters drove to the Hooda house as per the address messaged by Aditya. The drive was silent except for the melodious old song, which was played by Zoya.

They pulled into the driveway of the Hooda house soon. Ringing the bell, both waited outside and took the view in.

There is a garden in front, having most beautiful flowers. Rose, Hibiscus, Marigold and others which they can't name. There was a white swing, big enough for two people to sit. There was a beautiful white table and four matching, comfy chairs. The garden had a paved pathway around it, maybe for morning walk or jogging. Even in the moonlight it looked magnificent. Hooda's definitely enjoy their mornings.

They were busy looking around when someone cleared his throat behind them. They both jumped at their places.

“Easy there…. It's me…. Aditya Hooda.” He said, looking at their shocked faces.

“Oh! Ofcourse you are. Still scaring people….” Zoya muttered.

“Scaring… what…?” He asked confused.

“Ohhhoo…. Let them come in first Adi!” Mrs. Hooda shouted at him from behind.

He rolled his eyes as his mom pushed him aside to welcome the guests.

“Oh dear! I am so happy you both came.” She hugged both the girls at once, merrily.

“Come… come in…” She walked in, talking to Noor. Zoya followed them with Aditya.

“I didn't recognise you that day Zoya. I recognised you later. That little Zoya from school.… I never thought we would be meeting Aditya's best friend.” Mrs. Hooda continued talking, walking in.

“Even I didn't knew… . Best friend, a shock.” He muttered but Zoya heard.

“What did you say?” She asked, with her eyes narrowed at him.

“Amm… nothing…..”

“Better…” She gave him a tight lipped smile.

They all settled themselves in the hall on the sofa. Mrs. Hooda chided Aditya as he stretched himself on the sofa.

“Behave Adi!”

“Ya… ya…”

Mr. Hooda too came and talks started. The girls were served snacks and juice. It was mostly, Mrs. Hooda talking about anything and everything. The latest news, bollywood, Mumbai, weather and what not. Aditya was yawning.

“You know, you should pay more attention to the guests.” Zoya whispered to Aditya.

“Do you think I can speak when mumma is already speaking like a non-stop radio? Sorry, but I don't have that much courage.” He said, coolly and took out his mobile.

“Wow…. Guests are here..” Arjun announced his arrival as he came down.

Zoya waved at him and Noor winked.

“Yep! Now you are here too, I think we should have our dinner.”

Everyone stood up walked to the dinning area. Mrs. Hooda was talking to Noor now. Zoya stood behind Aditya and looked from his shoulder so as to know what the hell he is doing in mobile. E-mail! Great! She snatched the mobile from him and hid it behind her back. He turned around shocked.

“Give it back…. its important…. ” He asked for it, forwarding his hand.

“How much important?” She asked, raising her eyebrows, not budging at all.

“Ahm…...  very!”

“Really?”

“Zoya…” He whined.

“In my opinion, don't return it Zoya.” Grinned Arjun.

“I agree…. Give it to me instead.” Said Mrs. Hooda.

“Great idea…!” Zoya smiled mischievously.

“Ahh… you know what… break it!” He said and sat down grumpily, making everyone laugh at his expense.

“What happened to the Aditya? He used to prank others and never made a fool out of himself.”

He looked at her smiling face. From morning she is teasing him.

‘Do something Adi! You can't let her pick on you so easily…..’ He thought.

All sat down on the dinning table to have the dinner. Mrs. Hooda do know how to make her guests happy. The white crockery with foral print on it, was set on the table. The aroma coming, was itself capable of making anyone hungry. It worked as an appetizer. Mrs. Hooda removed the lid and started to serve everyone.

First bowl was of Shahi Paneer. The pieces of Indian cheese were dipped in the orange curry, garnished with a spoonful of cream and a bit of coriander.

Second lid revealed sight of another Indian tempting dish. Malai Kofta. It too looked like the first dish except it had Kofta and not Paneer.

Next one was, Mix Vegetables. Anyone can tell by it's first sight.

Another bowl was filled of Mix Raita. Can anyone forget having curd?

The casserole had Chapati and roti in it. Other two bowl's lid wasn't removed. Maybe, they had the sweet dish, which Raichand sisters can tell by their smell only. It was Gulab Jamun and Rice kheer (Sweet rice pudding).

The site of the food was worth drooling. Especially for Zoya, who skipped her lunch for this dinner.

Noor and Zoya were sitting adjacent to each other. Mrs. Hooda on Zoya's left and Arjun on Noor's left. Aditya was on Arjun's left and Mr. Hooda on the house of the head chair. One chair remained empty.

“Let's dig in!” Mrs. Hooda said but Aditya needed no instructions he already started serving himself. Mrs. Hooda shook her head in disbelief.

“What will I do of him?” She muttered to Zoya and she hid her smile.

All started to have their dinner.

“Zoya… I do remember your parents. How are they?” Mr. Hooda asked.

“Haan… how is Mrs. Raichand?” Added Mrs. Hooda, smiling.

“They are… They are no more. They died three years back.” Zoya whispered as she toyed with the piece of Chapati in her hand. Suddenly all the appetite seemed to vanish.

Aditya noticed this. He know Zoya don't talk much about this and he forgot to tell his mother not to mention them.

“Maasi is living with us for a while now.” Noor intervened, trying to normal the sudden tense atmosphere. “But she will return to her hometown soon!” Zoya glared at Noor for a moment.

Is it necessary to remind her that Maasi will return?

“So what? You both are just like Adi and Arjun for me. You know I always wanted a girl child but this Adi was too much and he is still handful.” Mrs. Hooda said as she got up and came behind both the sisters.

She hugged both of them from behind. Tears pricked Zoya's eyes but they were of happiness.

“What do you mean? Am I a trouble?” Aditya scowled.

“Are you not?” Mrs. Hooda asked still hugging Zoya. Aditya rolled his eyes. Zoya finally smiled at their silly banter.

“Never think that I am some stranger to you. You are always welcome here, hmm?” Mrs. Hooda said and Zoya nodded.

After this the dinner was a joyful event. It was filled with the talks of Noor and Mrs. Hooda's discussing their favourite show and Arjun, Zoya and Mr. Hooda discussing work and politics and pulling Aditya's leg everytime they all could.

Ofcourse, socializing with correct people bring relaxation and happiness to you.
