"Where shall we begin?" Loki asked. He was giving you control over the situation, which you appreciated, especially as this was your suite.

You considered that. There were so many boxes. Why did you have so much shit? That was a problem for a different day. Today's problem was emptying the boxes and putting things away. "I think the bedroom is the best place to start," you said when you'd looked everything over. You could really use your clothes put away and bed made before anything else.

Loki smirked. "As my lady wishes," he replied, his Cheshire Cat grin firmly in place as he teased. He gestured you toward your bedroom with a mock bow. You blushed when you realized that you had invited him into your bedroom.

The hot ass god with the hot ass was going to be in your bedroom.

You shook that thought away. Your bedroom wasn't even set up. There was nothing sexual about a barren bedroom full of boxes. However, you liked seeing the playful teasing side of Loki. It would be good to get to know him. He was your soulmate after all.

You headed into the bedroom where the boxes remained and your bed was bare, save your phone. You definitely needed help. Loki looked at the state of your room and grew more serious. "We'll get this sorted together, drotning," he promised.

"Thanks, Loki," you said sheepishly. You really had been too overwhelmed to get started.

You reached for the first box to get started and Loki helped you open it and start pulling things out. You told him about your life and your family as you were putting clothes into your new giant closet.

Loki told you about his childhood and his time on Asgard, his family and studies as you worked together to make your bed and set up your bedroom to your liking. It was soon comfortable and more well decorated than you thought you had supplies for. You blamed Loki's magic for that.

Not that you complained.

You laughed in delight as he used magic to change the paint color on your bedroom wall, especially when he used butterflies with purple wings to fly around the room and deliver purple paint to the walls.

"That's amazing~" you told Loki as you watched the butterflies.

Loki lit up in absolute delight over the praise. You had the feeling that he didn't have enough praise in his life. You would be sure to give him more. He was adorable when he was happy.

Somehow, the pair of you spent that evening setting up your sitting room with furniture that seemed nicer than what you remembered having, while drinking beer and eating pizza together. You were laughing and joking together like old friends as you shelved books on your bookshelf.

Loki told ridiculous stories of home for most of the day. You looked over your handiwork and you beamed up at Loki. "It's perfect, Lokes, thank you so much for your help!" You told him brightly and tapped your bottle of beer to his before you took a sip.

"The pleasure was mine, drotning," he replied fondly, following your gesture and taking a sip from his own bottle.

There was a banging on your bedroom door. "Are you two going to be in there all day?" Thor's voice boomed through the door. "We want to meet your soulmate too!" He whined.

You laughed and Loki smirked before he replied, calling merrily through the door. "Go away, Thor~ I'm enjoying the company of my soulmate," he loved tormenting his brother and was a little shit when he felt like it.

You smacked his arm lightly, blushing at his insinuation. "Loki, behave," you scolded gently. You went to open the door and realized that you were still wearing your goddamn Avenger's T-shirt. You really needed to change. "We're almost done here. Loki was helping me set up my suite," you told Thor. You didn't quite know how to take him, yet, but you'd learned a lot about him from Loki's stories.

Thor gave you a warm, brotherly smile. "We were hoping you would come spend some time with us, lady," he said warmly.

Loki started to splutter a protest, wanting to keep you all for himself. "We'll be down in a bit," you told Thor, overruling Loki. Loki seemed to like you stepping on his toes and taking charge. At least in something as innocent as this. Besides, he loved Thor and wanted to spend time with his brother.

And you desperately wanted to change into something other than you Avengers T-shirt before you headed down to spend time with the team.

"Very well, lady. We will see you shortly," Thor replied and gave you a hug before he left you be. Loki was still spluttering and you stared in shock at where Thor had been. You hadn't expected a hug from the god of thunder.

"Looks like Thor has adopted you already," Loki said fondly when you had closed the door and Thor had gone.

"Adopted me?"

"As family. He's practically your brother now too. We are soulmates after all, drotning," Loki reminded you.

Thor was your brother? This really was a whole lot to take in.
