Dev got an invitation to attend a conference in China. Beijing, China's capital, hosted a five-day event. For Dev, it was a huge milestone. Almost all of the world's leading investors would be present at the worldwide meeting. If Dev's presentation impresses them, he may get a massive project. When he told the cops about it, they urged him to forego the trip because his adversaries may see it as an opportunity to attack. They believe that by this time, the assailants would have devised a strategy. But Dev persuaded them, and they agreed to accompany him on the trip on the condition that he pay for two police officers. He was concerned about Anu, even though he thought it was an excellent idea.

So, after much deliberation, he decided to take Anu with him. In their private Jet, Dev, Anu, their guards, and two police officers would fly. Mugil is unable to accompany them as he is responsible for the company's operations.

At Dev's Mansion:

"C'mon, Anu, enough with the packing. We can make arrangements over there if anything is required."

Dev was appealing with Anu, who was frantically gathering their belongings. Anu will be taking her first international trip. She was excited and scared at the same time. When she thought about the attacks, she was terrified. They arrived at Tambaram Airport ( a sub-urban location in Chennai) from which their private plane will depart.

Upon stepping on the aircraft through the front boarding door, Anu was mesmerized by the Jet's interior. It was a luxurious jet with a large interior that included a master bedroom, main lounge, dining area, and private lounge, as well as a crew rest area and two galleys. The main lounge and master bedroom were separated by a passageway. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and a bedside table against the enormous windows. Two literature holders and a high-definition LED television with a big screen for in-flight entertainment are located opposite the bed. The master bathroom is located directly behind the bedroom and features a walk-in shower with a full vanity. The visuals had Anu drooling.

The plane took off. The crew members were quite friendly as Dev flew frequently. Anu has a strong desire to strike those flirtatious attendees. They took a seat in their private lounge after a while. Anu inquired,

"How much would they charge for this?" out of curiosity.

"We own this," Dev smiled as he took her hands in his.

"Oh," That's what she could say.

"How rich are you actually?" she questioned after a brief pause.

"Enough for the next five generations," Dev responded, grinning from ear to ear.

Anu stood with her hands on her hips, as if catching a toddler stealing candy and questioned, "Then why are you constantly working?" Why can't you be content with what you've got? Oh my God, if I had known this beforehand, I would not have consented to go to China."

She kept blabbering something with some serious face gestures. Dev got amused by her look and took her hand in his. "Anu, please look at me," he said as he sat her down. We can't quit without expanding if we start something. There's a lot of competition and short-backs in business. I won't be a successful man until I work hard. This is the only way a businessman's life can be described. Even if we wanted to, we couldn't.

That is the harsh reality. Who am I working for? You are the only family I have. You may spend as much as you want. Donate to charity or pamper yourself at a spa. I like to spoil you. You are free to do whatever you choose. But don't put too much pressure on your little brain by thinking like this."

All of Dev's words lost on her, but his last sentence heightened her rage.

"Hey, I'm not a little brain. You should know that I'm an MBA student." She grumbled.

"All right, all right. You're concerned about my well-being. But I'm simply trying to hold on to my position. That is the distinction."

"Whatever you do, make an effort to enjoy your life as well. Why are you always pursuing money?"

"Okay, Boss noted," he took a bow.

"What?" she exclaimed.

"You are my boss at home, yes."

"All right, now your boss is instructing you to go grab something to eat. "I'm hungry." With her hands on her tummy, Anu said with a puppy face.

"Oh my, sorry dear," he said, instructing the attendants to get them some food. With their conversation, the time flew by, and they were soon in Beijing.

They were offered a VIP suite in a seven-star hotel where all of the delegates' rooms had been reserved. The cops and guards remained in their adjoining rooms. It was the morning of a Sunday. They decided to go sightseeing as Dev would be busy with the conference the next day. They drove 75 kilometres from their accommodation to see the "Great Wall of China."

Anu was running around excitedly like a little girl. They decided to go paragliding. Anu screamed hysterically at the top of her lungs. They leap off the edge of the Simatai wall section and glide almost 1,000 feet into the valley below. Later, they went on a hike together. They bought Mugil and Riya some mementos. After their adventure, both of them were exhausted. They only had snacks sold by vendors on some sections of the Great Wall as they didn't bring any food with them on their hike. Both of them were ravenous as wolves. Later, they dined on authentic Chinese food such as Kung Pao Chicken, Roast Fish, Fried Eggplant, and other items. Throughout their entire trip, Dev was overly protective of Anu.

Even if any man accidentally bumped into her, he got into a fight with them. It had been a tiring day for both of them, and Anu slept the entire way back. When they arrived at the hotel, he gently carried her to their suite in bridal style without disturbing her sleep. Their bodyguards kept a close eye on them. Even though they were paying close attention, a pair of eyes was monitoring them the entire time.
