"REMIND ME FIRST BEFORE DOING THAT, PLEASE." I requested Five after appearing in the garage on the side of the high-valued Bentley. "Quit complaining and get in." He instructed while I followed. He starts the engine of the car and we went on our merry way.

"Where are we gonna get coffee?"

"Remember Griddys Donutshop?"

I nodded.

"Can I drive?"

"Absolutely—not."

Seeing a teenage boy in a cute school-boy uniform running a car while wearing a frown looked uncanny to me. "You look weird driving," I commented. "I prefer you to not stare at me while driving." He answers back the sullen look he has not going away.

Five always knew what to say. He was impulsive and is insanely doing an outstanding job performing it too. He was always shining with pride and can make you feel like the stupidest person in the room for less than a second.

'(Y/N)?' Five's voice resonated in my mind once again as I earned a flashback from the strange occurrence that happened to me before waking up from the sleep cycle.

"You know, if it weren't for you, I'd still be in a coma," I stated after silence filled the vehicle. It was technically his voice I heard that made me conscious. "What do you mean?" Finally, he looks at me, raising a brow.

"I heard your voice before I woke up," I revealed. I don't know if even should tell him the vision I saw earlier. It was not even worth remembering. "Oh yeah, how's that possible?" He asked without a hint of expressiveness in his tone, as always.

"Five, I saw a vision of an apocalypse," I exclaimed, sounding troubled about it looking straight on the road.

Suddenly, he hits the break too harshly, sending a shrieking sound from the friction of the wheel that would've sent me flying off if I weren't wearing my seatbelt. "Hey! What's the big id—"

"What did you see?" Five asked, taking off his hands on the wheel, feeling genuinely disturbed by what I was going to say. I looked at him dazed as I furrowed my eyebrows, worried. "Tell me."

"Well, it looked like straight out of a historian's book about world war. But I think it's just a horrible nightmare."

"You knew about the apocalypse?!" Five's mouth was slightly opened, shocked by the additional information I just gave him.

"Wha-what apocalypse? What are you talking about?" Now, this was getting confusing. He was sounding more and more unreal at every passing hour. "Five, are you okay?"

He takes a deep breath adjusting the handbrake and faces the steering wheel once again while pushing the pedal with his foot, increasing the pace. "I'll explain everything when we get there."

"Wait—What do you mean the end of the world?" I was shocked at what Five said and couldn't control the volume of my voice at Griddy's donut. "Shhh, keep your voice down." He whispers lowering his head while I unconsciously did it too to with him.

"The vision I saw was fuzzy it's probably just a bad dream." I refused to accept what Five just mentioned because it was surreal and felt skeptical, to begin with. The hallucination I had was vague, anyway.  "(Y/N), this is not a coincidence. The end really is coming." He repeats himself once again, but I just couldn't believe him that easily.

"There's not any sign of terrorism or an evil huge monster going destroy the world, how is 'the end' going to happen?"

"I know but I'm saying the truth..! But the question is, how is that possible? This is not some mere accident. I think... You were meant to see that." Five fixes his gaze on me more seriously than ever.

"I believe you."

"Wait, you do?" He spouted, surprised by my sudden change of opinion.

For a moment, I looked at him as if I was starting to. "Nah, I'm joking. I believe that you're being delusional. I've read about dad's research about the effects of time traveling; he said it can mess up your m—"

"(Y/N), I'm not being delu—" The glass door entrance to the shops opens, a man comes in after parking his truck nearby taking his seat on Five's left. "You know what, we will discuss this later, just let me have my cup of coffee for today, just like we planned." He said restoring his white-collar composure facing the counter.

Five continually pressed rapidly on the waiter bell, exasperated for the lack of service despite having the place deserted.

Finally, a tired-looking waitress comes out from the back, exhaling deeply. "Sorry, the sink was clogged." She chuckles, grabbing her pen and a piece of paper. "So what'll it be?" Asking the man beside Five first.

"Uh, give me a Chocolate Éclair."

"Mm-hmm. Sure."

"Can I get the kid and his little girlfriend a glass of milk or something?" Five scoffs from her guess.

"Oh, we're not—"

"The kid wants coffee. Black." Five interrupts me, eager to get that beverage he long to crave.

"Cute kid." She giggles, but the man from her side had no reaction wherein she thought we were with.

Five lets out an exaggerated grin, his dimple showing. I couldn't tell if it was a fake smile or just him being excited about that drink like a kid getting ice cream.

"Uhm, so what about you Ms.?"

"Jasmine tea please." I let out a genuine smile because she seems exhausted from the stress she's receiving for the night. She smiles back and proceeds to the coffeemaker.

Five takes a deep sigh as he glances around the area. It illuminated the donut shop with yellow and orange lighting that sent out a nice summer vibe, but comparing it to the time when we were kids, it didn't look the same. "Don't remember this place being such a shithole."

"Same. It's almost making me emotional." The color palette feels nostalgic. It was aesthetically pleasing to look at every inch. "We used to come here as a kid, sneaking out with our siblings and eat doughnuts till' we puked."

"Those were the days," I said, feeling all bubbly from the inside as I recollect the memories we have for this place.

Five caught the man shooting a strange look at us. "Simpler times, huh?"

"Eh. I suppose." The elder responds probably thinking that we're odd since we were kids and talking as if we lived his era.

Finally, our drinks were served, and the man generously paid off our bill. "Thank you, mister, we appreciate it." I beamed. I took a sip of my tea and goodness gracious, it tastes horrible but I pretended to like it.

I saw Five staring intently at the man; he founds his eyes resting on the logo on his jacket that says. 'Ishmael's Towing: 24 HOURS SERVICE'.

"You must know your way around the city."

"I hope so. I've been driving it for 20 years."

"Good. I need an address."

"What address?" I questioned Five for his intentions. "Someone's address." He says tiresome while grabbing a tissue to hand out to the man to write the direction.

"What for?"

"Since you can't trust me, I need someone to actually believe me." With a toned-down voice, he gave me the reason that slightly made my chest tighten out of envy for his indisputable acceptance. "Yeah, right." I rolled my eyes quietly, taking a sip and hiding my wretched face behind my drink, uninterested because I was jealous. I wasn't jealous because I like him, I was jealous as his best friend.

˚✧˳✧˚✧˳✧˚✧ ☂️ ✧˚✧˳✧˚✧˳✧˚

Five folds the napkin that contains the address and puts it inside his pockets safely before grabbing his drink.

Then all of a sudden, armed men wearing clothes that didn't look friendly came in. Five and I could view their reflection on the clear silver bell. They were dangerous men, apparently.

"Hm. That was fast. I thought I'd have more time before they found me."

"So let's all be professional about this, yeah?"

"Five, who are these people?" I whispered to him, giving a small kick on his knee to get his attention. "Just some people I have beef with." He says softly.

"On your feet and come with us. They want to talk."

'Who's they?' Five has already been into some shady business on the first day of coming back? 'Oh boy, I wonder what you did this time.'

"I've got nothing to say."

"It doesn't have to go this way." He positions his rifle to his arms and points it at my head. "You think I want to shoot your little girl date today? Go home with that on my conscience. It is either you or her." I didn't dare to move from my spot and continued to look unbothered by it.

"Well, I wouldn't worry about that." Five says confidently while giving me a wink. The amount of trust he has in me is immaculate to the point he has faith that I'd survive at gunpoint.

"You won't be going home." Five replies seriously with a poker face.

We found ourselves looking at each other. Both of our lips simpered knowing what was coming.

A mass murder.

Five grabs the dessert knife between the fork and spoon that was near him. He spatial jumps behind the man and stabs him from behind above his collar. That knife wasn't that sharp, but Five can literally kill anyone with anything on his hands and even with his bare hands.

The man releases a bullet, hitting one of his comrades. The light began flickering, making them feel nauseous. I jumped over the counter to plan my action and to calculate my moves. My power is not just about protection, it can also deflect whilst changing the direction of an upcoming attack depending on the force it contains. A good example is a bullet.

"Yo dumbass, over here!" I barked, sitting in a dandyish manner. They swiftly turned to me and automatically fire their guns. I am now inside a sphere shape shield resulting in one of the lucky bullet's projectile motion reconstructing. The energy I did gave it enough kinetic power to hit one man back in his head.

'God damn it, just one? It's been a long time since I got to fight someone with firearms.'

"Hey, assholes!" Five yelled, lying down sideways where images of donuts were set forth. They all ended up shooting on air because he wasn't there anymore.

I took that chance to hide behind the counter as I waited for Five to come out and physically fight. I peeked over to get a glimpse of what was happening. They shot from behind the glass door where I assumed he was located before. I found him in the corner, breaking a mop in half and stabbing one man by the wait with its sharp edges.

I jumped over the table to join in the fun they were all having.

I targeted the one that was distant from his friends. He seems to be unaware of my presence close by which resulted in his leisured positioning. It gave me the advantage to give a jumping, turning long kick on his arms with the consequence of it falling on the floor. I picked up the weapon and shot him dead.

I ran towards Five who was choking someone using his necktie that died straight away. He grabs a pencil from a random table and pricks a marksman on his crotch. He screamed in agony as I slid under one of the tables to seize the same pencil from his groin once again, only to be thrust in the eye, showering me with its disgusting blood. "Ugh! Ew!"

Five threw a plate on another one, knocking him out on the edge. He saw one guy on each of our sides standing up, clearly suffering from their wounds but still ready to kill us. He zealously grabs my wrist and lunges forward, almost dragging me. He did a spatial jump at the exact moment where the two men shoot, hitting the other that both killed themselves.

Five and I appeared again, finally all of them dead. "F-Five, who are these people?" I asked in between heavy breaths. "You asked after you slaughtered them with me, it doesn't matter." He answers, a sweat descending while getting his necktie back from the gunman he used to eliminate him with. "And since when you have you gotten so good at fighting?!"

He walks around, hair all messy and moist. He attaches the cloth to his nape, which I have to admit; he looks kinda hot in this bloody situation we are both in.

'Wait, no, stop, this is your brother'.

'Yes, he's your stepbrother'.

I shook my head when my own irrational thoughts started arguing over my relationship with this cranky boy.

The man on my side gasps heavily that presented life in him. I bent down to his level and snapped his neck.

"That's my girl." Five says sternly.

He grabs what seemed to like some sort of device with a green background and red dot displayed on its screen. "What's that?" I came closer to him. "Can you grab that paring knife there?" He says pointing to its location.

I gave him that thing he asks for. "Do you mind?" He aimed at a certain spot on his arm. I gladly took the sharp object of his grasps. "With pleasure. But what for?" I sliced the skin precisely to where he wanted it. "For this." He goes into the wound as I grimaced at the sight. He groans a bit and finally pulls out a small item that was glowing. "A tracking chip."

"A tracking chip? This day is getting weirder and weirder tell me what's going on right now." I said, worried about him now.

"We shouldn't talk here, let's go before they find us." Both of us got out of the shop. And it also left me wondering if we should even leave the dead bodies. "Where to?"

"Vanya's place."
