(Y/N) AGREED WITH WHAT FIVE SAID ABOUT JUST WALKING TOWARDS THE PLACE that they were supposed to go that he hasn't revealed to her yet.

He didn't say why but (Y/N) could tell he just wanted to appreciate his surroundings more because ever since he came back he did nothing but the act of things to prevent the apocalypse.

"Nice weather, huh?" Five mentioned out of nowhere after a block walk with no one talking.

There weren't kids in their age, well, appearance-wise, around the area. They earned a few weird glances from civilians considering the uniforms we were wearing and the unusual time for dismissal. "Yeah, I guess," She responded sheepishly, scratching the back of her neck.

'Why is it so painfully awkward right now?'

This walking thing in the streets gave too many nostalgias of Five and her running away from home to spend time together and slam themselves with the real world. There was a couple of time they got caught, but that's for another chapter to tell.

"Hey, uh... Remember that one time we got chased by a cop?"

"Hm... The fat one who was eating a donut when we shoplifted candy on a convenience store?"

"Man, those were the days. Ever since that day I never took officials seriously for some reason."

"Yeah, because you almost killed the guy after tripping him with one of your force fields."

"Speaking of force fields, father once said that my abilities had no limitations unless it would be to battle with plasma... Did you somehow found my body in the apocalypse?"

Suddenly, Five froze. His eyes widen as his face turned pale. He gulped and blinked a few times before avoiding the female's gaze. He knew the answer to the question. He just doesn't like talking about it. He had to see every corpse of his sibling, but hers was the most painful thing he had to see. It traumatized him greatly.

It was absurd to even ask that question to him when it was a not memorable reminiscence of his childhood.

"Like maybe some counterparts left, you know? Kneecaps? Maybe a limb or two?" (Y/N) joked which Five thought was such an insensitive joke to make even though she was talking about herself.

He wanted to yell for her to stop. It was frustrating him. Klaus was right, he was an addict of the so-called apocalypse. He was addicted because he couldn't move on.

"I don't wanna talk about it." Five cooly admits keeping his hands in his pockets as a form of gesture that he wasn't interested or planning to initiate that conversation. "Come on, Five! Just a glimpse or teaser, you know?" The girl begged.

It haunted him more than (Y/N) could ever think of. It felt heavy to admit that there wasn't only one person to survive the apocalypse. There were two. And it's him and her; Until she committed suicide that fateful day of destruction. And he saw everything, and it was too late.

"No."

"Pretty please."

"I'm sorry bu—"

"I need it too, so I know if I could confirm dad's theo—"

"No!"

(Y/N) raised a brow at his sudden change of mood. He realized it too and quickly returns to normal again.

"I-I'm sorry. I just don't like talking about it." He admitted adjusting his shoulder straps. Luckily, the female just shrugged it off and moved on immediately after being asked to stop.

He wished he could tell her. Every day felt like an undying nightmare, every night he could hear her voice—"Why didn't you save me?"—"I thought you were always there behind my back—"Why did you leave?"—A crying voice of someone he cared deeply for, and every time he thought of her he couldn't help but just mourn. He didn't move on, he never did.

Even though she was alive and well right in front of him. It left a big scar on his back.

He could tell her that her force fields are able to save her from the apocalypse, but that would raise more questions from the girl's mouth.

And he did his best to pretend it never happened. He convinced himself that she is alive, and she never died. But he couldn't, he loved her too much for that and that was the problem.

(Y/N) Hargreeves

'Gimbel Brothers'. This place looks familiar. Too familiar.

We went inside. I realized it was that night where he fetched his bitch mannequin so he could have someone to rant about during midnight.

"Why are we here?"

Five remained quiet and didn't answer. He almost looked sad. Like genuinely sad.

From a certain area, we approached in that direction. It was where Delores used to stand. This same exact spot, where she got shot and sliced into half, which was a wonderful sight that I could never forget. Gunshots were horrible, though.

Five removes the bag from his shoulder and places it down on the platform where products were displayed. "Hey." He greeted his doll after pulling it out.

I still have no idea what the hell is happening. Am I a third wheel here? Should I like, leave?

"I bet it feels good to be back... amongst your friends." Five stated after placing the non-living bald bitch back to where she came from.

"And it's okay you can... say it." He continues. "We always were an unlikely pair." He commented with a smile.

"Ouch," I muttered as I continue to watch the scene unfold.

Though, I have to admit, seeing him blue makes me feel like it too. Like yeah, sure Delores was a thing, but it was the only one who kept him sane in the apocalypse.

"This isn't easy for me, Delores, and I... I want you to know that I cherish every single minute I ever shared with you, all 12 and a half million of them. A lifetime."

'Oh wow, I forgot they were together for 23 years.'

"Now, look at us. We're lucky enough, we get a second one."

I know it's a mannequin, but dang, I wished he talks to me like that. All he does to me is talk dirty—Well, not that I'm complaining or anything...

"You got some words to share with her before we go?" Five proposed.

'I don't care! I could throw a whole party at our home right now with that news, woohoo! I would've probably thrown her out myself if she stayed more than a year.'

"Um... Goodbye Dorothy—"

"Delores." He corrected me.

"I mean, Delores... Hope you stay positive with your—Other plastic friends..? I guess." I gave out my best wishes, but it sounded more of a question than a statement.

Five gave a disappointed sigh as he pushed me away from his direction to go closer again to his first object girlfriend. "Yeah. You are right. I do have a lot of growing up to do... I'll never forget you, Delores." Five's expression softens, I've never seen him look this vulnerable. That piece of plastic really is something.

Five sighed. "Let's go." He turned away from the love of his life like it was the hardest choice he ever had to make. He didn't want me to see his face at a moment like this.

I gave a pat on his back. As I was about to scoop in my arm around his shoulder, he approached one of the workers there who was fixing some racket in the jeans area. "Excuse me, miss?"

"Yeah?"

"Could you give that mannequin something new to wear? She likes sequins." Five stated.

'Oh, my god. He did not just request to have his mannequin change clothes.'

The lady was baffled. She gave a brief glance at me while I just shrugged since who am I to intervene with Five's shenanigans.

"You okay, Five? You like you're crying." His face didn't have the tough look, he looked like he was melting to pieces.

"What, no I'm not." He denied and subtly wiped the liquid from his eye.

We stood outside the entrance, unsure of what to do next since we have all the time to spend in the place. "I mean, you could take her back home, you know? You don't have to leave her here." I suggested, I didn't want her back, of course I'm just saying that for-show and to prove I ain't a selfish bitch.

Five gave a breath of exhaustion. "Hazel said that I should do the things if I didn't ever time travel. I have unfinished business after I left." His pupils dilated as he looked at me with a narrow squint within it.

"Oh, yeah? Like what?"

"Like you."

"You're gonna 'do' me?"

"No, you idiot. Let's... Let's just have fun like we used to." He offered his hand for me to take.

That comment was enough to make me smile, and so I took it.

And all we had to do was ditch that mannequin. I still can't believe it was able to make me jealous.

Fun Fact: Since Delores is Five's subconcious, she'd often gave 'advice' and forced him to be more gentle with (Y/N). (Basically he's telling himself to be more kind with (Y/N).)
