OLD MILLS

For a second Manik was frozed on his place but hearing Vivek, Anvi , Ansh & cabir's shout all together , " Nandini/fliend/bhabhi ", jerk him out from his shocked state..

He ran inside only to find Vivek, Anvi , Ansh & cabir standing shocked.. and when his eyes fall on Nandini she was going to fall.. he hurriedly ran towards her and catch her before she touch the ground..

Till then police also arrived and arrest aliya..

" Nandini.. hey chipku.. don't close your eyes.. ", Manik said patting her cheek..

Nandini smile painfully at him,her eyes were getting heavy due to weakness as she didn't eat anything since Manik broke her fast and also with the amount of blood she has lost..

" Yo–You mu–must be Happy.. right!? Finally! A betrayer going to lea–ve you.. ", hearing nandini's words tears rolled down from his eyes after so long.

" No.. you aren't going anywhere.. got it.. I won't let you leave me.. ", manik said crying and carried her in his arms and hurriedly took her to his car while other followed them..

Vivek tok driver seat ,Manik sit with Nandini at back seat on his lap.. while cabir with anvi at passenger seat.. anvi was crying seeing her fliend..

While ansh was follwing them in another car..

In MANAN CAR

" No no.. don't.. ", Manik said panickingly holding his handkerchief carfully on her left side chest where she was shot, as he see Nandini was closing her eyes..

" I want to sleep monster.. You was the only one to get rid of me right? And when I'm going then why are you stopping me!? ", Nandini said chuckling but then hiss, trying to not close her eyes..

" Haan.. I'm monster.. I'm sorry Nandini.. I just misunderstood you.. please please don't close your eyes.. ", hearing his Nandini trying to say something but then close her eyes.. she felt darkness pulling her towards it..

" No no.. Nandini.. please if not for me please for YOUR daughter anvi please.. don't close your eyes.. ", hearing his words Nandini with a jerk opened her eyes..

" Haan don't Nandini we just reached..", Vivek said as he parked the car at the parking of the hospital..

They hurriedly comes out and help Manik to carry Nandini inside..

Other Malhotra family with Navya also reached in hospital.. and sitting outside the ICU waiting doctor to comes out.. it's already 2 hours and there isn't any clue about nandini's health.. everyone is very restless for Nandini while our little anvi is crying in her bhua's arms..

" Fliend is hult ( hurt ) because of me.. ", Anvi said sobbing..

Divyanka wiped her tears cajoling her, " nhi anvi.. it wasn't your fault bacha..".

" Nhi nhi.. fliend save me when that bad aunty shoot me.. ", Anvi exclamed sniffing making everyone snapped at her.. except Vivek,cabir and ansh..

Manik's guilt grows more hearing this..

He thumped on a chair covering his face..

" I will never be able to forgive myself if something happens to Nandini! ", Manik thinks drowning in pain and guilt..

Vivek put his hand on his shoulder,he looked at him and as he looked at him Vivek blink his eyes saying to handle himself..

" Cabir take anvi home..she need rest.. ", Vivek said.

" No no.. I will not leave fliend..", Anvi Shake her head stubbornly.

" Anvi baby.. please understand....", But anvi step out from her lap and walked to manik and hugged him..

" No.. I'll stay with papa.. please.. ", Anvi requested cutely looking at Manik,who looked at her and then took her in his arms ," let her stay here di.. you guyz all move to house.. I'll inform you when doctor will comes out.. ", he said looking at all.. they tried to protest but Manik didn't let them.

They all left back to home and just Manik,anvi and Vivek was here..

Few hours later, Anvi slept in vivek's arms because of tiredness of continuous crying.. and Manik was leaning back on wall with eyes closed and was remincing their moments..

Their cute banter and Nandini giving weird names to him..

Nandini's cute pout ,her smile and her cute angry pout..

Just then doctor comes out and seeing him Manik ran to him..

" Doctor how's my wife!? Is she alright!? ", Manik Asked impatiently.

Vivek also walked towards them after laying anvi comfortable on the steal bench..

" The operation is successful.. ", both Manik and Vivek took a relief breath but then their breath stuck in their throats when they heard his next words .

" Bullet didn't reached to her heart by god's grace.. but as she lost allot of blood she's right now in semi coma state.. She was already weak due to not consummation of food.. if she didn't wake up in another 4 hours then sorry to say but she will slip into coma.. ", doctors words like a knife to manik's heart..

First time, he's scared after that day.. he felt his world is shattering into millions of pieces..

" Now pray to God for her safety.. now only he can save her..", doctor said patting manik's shoulder and left from their..

Manik lifelessly walked out from their ignoring vivek's voice who was calling him from behind..

Manik was walking towards main exit of the hospital when his eyes fall on the small temple of the hospital.. For a while he didn't move from there and just was starring the idol of ganpati bappa..

But then he don't know how he reached to that small temple and was standing infront of ganpati idol..

He felt himself folding his hands," I never thought I'll believe in you again when you snatched one of my special person.. but today.. I'm standing in front of you with folded hands and begging you to get me back my wife.. please.. it was my mistake that I didn't trust her.. please don't snatch her from me..", keeping his forehead on his folded hands he prayed for his wife's life..

MANIK POV

I pushed the door opened and find that girl who was in this state just because she safed My daughter's Life no..no.. our daughter's Life..

I slowly walked towards her and sit on my knees beside her bed..

Muskura ke diya jo diya

My heart pained seeing the girl who never forget to smile and spread only happiness is laying unconscious in between allot of wires with pale face..

Tu hi dhoop, tu hi chaaya
Tu hi apna paraaya

Holding her hand in mine I kissed her hand, " Nandini.. I know you must be happy leaving me but I'm not.. Yes I'm not happy that you are leaving me.. please don't leave me.. ", I pledged with my Chocking voice..

Aur kuchh na janoon
Bas itna hi janoon

" I'm really sorry.. I know I'm idiot and stupid For mistrusting you.. please sorry and don't leave me and OUR DAUGHTER.. ", I said crying laying my head on our entwined hands..

Tujh mein Rab dikhta hai
Yaara main kya karoon

" The Manik Malhotra is saying sorry.. I can't believe it.. ", I heard a known voice and my head snapped to that direction only to find her starring at me with her teasing smile.. I smiled with teary eyes finally getting her back.. I hurriedly hugged her..

" I'm so happy..thank you.. I'm sorry... ", I just blabberd in happiness not realising that she didn't hug back me and was in shocked state with my sudden hug.

" Are you really my monster!? ", I heard her amused voice making me chuckle..

I broke the hug and looked at her..

" Yes I'm your monster only..  ", I replied creasing her cheek.

" Where is bitter monster?? ", She asked pouting.

" Didn't you like this sweet monster!? ", I asked raising my eyebrow.

" Like it..but unable to digest your sweetness.. what if I also caught up with dibatese like you.. ", she pouted making me laugh..

Tujh mein Rab dikhta hai

" Nothing will happen to you.. I'll always protect you and always trust you.. will you give me one more chance to correct my mistakes!? ", I Asked with hope..

She looked at me for a while but then smile, " okay.. I gave you a chance..tum bhi kya yaad rkhoge.. ", she said dramatically giggling making me smile in happiness..

Rab ne...

" But.... ", Her expressions changed to serious one.. I looked at her with my thudding heart..

While she continue ," I need time to forgive you.. ", she closed her eyes for a while and then jerkly open it asking , " Anvi! Where is she!? ", Her eyes roamed in whole room searching for her.

" She's with jijaji.. sleeping.. was very tired of continuous crying.. ", I replied unable to make a contact of my eyes with her due to my guilt....
