I made my way back into my apartment a lot later than I expected. I smiled as I stepped inside and the smell of food slapped me right in the face. She was making lasagna. I almost shed a tear of happiness. Nadia isn't much of a cooker, she usually leaves that to me, but I swear no one makes better lasagna than her.

I kicked off my shoes and pulled my AirPods out. Once I did I heard the sound of her giggling and then someone else's laughter. I furrowed my eyebrows as I began to get curious. I wonder who she has over.

I peeked my head into the kitchen and smiled as Nadia turned to face me. I shifted my eyes from her to the gorgeous girl sitting at the island. She had beautiful dark brown skin that literally glowed as the light from the sun spread into the kitchen from the window. "Hi!"

"Hey. Erin this is my best friend and roommate Genesis, Lu this is Erin."

"It's nice to meet you." I smiled and held out my hand for her to shake. No wonder Nadia seemed to enamored by her. The woman was beautiful. "It's nice to meet you too. You're in that class with Dr. Briggs too right?"

"Yeah."

"Oh cool!"

"It's been a long day for me, so im gonna go lay down. Y'all have fun." I told them. I grabbed a small snack and returned their waves before going back into my room. I took a quick shower and hopped right into my bed.

I wasn't particularly sad. But I wasn't feeling up to do anything but sit here and watch reruns of Law And Order SVU.

I turned the show on and decided to scroll through Instagram. As I did so I got the urge to see if I could find Professor Nixon on there. I'm no stalker, Nadia is, so I know a couple ways I could figure out what his username could be.

I went to search and typed in his full name first and unsurprisingly his account came up. I clicked on it and saw that he had a little over 5,000 followers.

He posted pictures with his cat, his sister, and his parents. His whole family is attractive. They looked so good it almost looked unreal. That thought made me wonder just how real the smiles they all wore were.

I didn't like any pictures or follow him but what I did do was go to his sisters account and follow her. If he asked about it, I could just say she was in my recommended. She didn't have any pictures with him on her page. A lot of her pictures were dedicated to her designs. I could easily lie and say I didn't realize she was his sister if I had to.

I didn't want him to think I was a creeper. Despite the fact that what I'm doing is in fact, creepy. I closed out the app and rolled myself in my blanket to watch the show. I fell asleep before I could even get into it.

I woke up from my short lived nap about an hour later with a notification from Instagram. His sister followed me back.

A knock on my door sounded and I sat up just as Nadia pushed my room door open. "Dinners ready." She smiled as she bring me a plate of lasagna with garlic bread and lemonade.

"Thank you, this looks great. Is Erin still here?" I questioned. "Yeah, we're about to watch a movie in my room."

"Please don't moan loudly." I sighed.

She laughed loudly and shook her head. "Just a movie. Nothing else."

"Mhm alright. Well have fun."

"I didn't say I was leaving just yet." She laughed as she plopped into my bed. "You were gone a lot longer than two hours, are you okay?"

"Yeah im alright. You know it just takes a while to get there and then I just ended up sitting there talking to myself really." I laughed bitterly. "Well I'd like to believe he was still listening."

I wish.

"Yeah. Me too."

I sucked in a breath and tried to give her a smile. "I'm alright though." I assured her. "Okay. Just let me know if you need anything."

I nodded and leaned over to hug her as she opened her arms. After our hug she went skipping out of my room like a little kid. I grabbed my laptop and decided I'd eat and do my homework.
