Throughout the next few days, not much had happened. You occasionally texted Ran, and hung out with Aimsey; sometimes being alone when both were busy. For some reason, they always seemed to be busy at the exact same time. So rude.

You sat in your bed as you aimlessly scrolled through TikTok, smiling to yourself as some humorous videos caught your eye. While swiping up, a notification popped up at the top of your screen. You hurriedly went to tap it, once you saw who it was from.

"Pfft- what in the fuck was that?" You asked yourself, as you turned off your phone. As you laid there thinking for a bit, you finally decided it was probably time to eat breakfast. Even though you would have rather texted Ran more, you decided it was best to give him a break for a bit.

Rolling —more like flopping— out of bed, you made your way downstairs in your pajamas, not wanting to get ready for the day yet.

"Wow, you look like shit," Aimsey laughed out as you turned a corner into the kitchen. They ate a spoonful of their cereal, that was sitting in front of them, as they watched amused with your attire.

"Wow, I didn't ask," You said jokingly, with a slight defensive undertone to it.

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry. You look just absolutely wonderful with your bedhead."

"Not everyone has the motivation to actually get dressed in the morning, Aims." You rolled your eyes, as you walked towards the pantry, looking for something to eat.

Finding absolutely nothing of interest, because Aimsey lives in a fucking ingredient household, you walk over to the table they're sitting at, and take a seat across from them.

"Are you not going to eat anything?" They questioned.

"Nah, flour isn't really my first choice when it comes to breakfast items. Maybe for lunch though," You playfully said.

"Oh whatever, you need to eat something though. You can have the rest of my cereal since I'm full anyway."

"Ope, okay." You replied, taking the bowl that was pushed over to you.

Taking a bite of the cereal, you watched as Aimsey strolled out of the kitchen, only to soon pop their head back in, making you shoot a questioning glance towards them.

"Um, by the way, I slightly forgot to mention this..."

"Yes?" You questioned them to go on.

"Well, my other friend who will be staying here flies in later today, so just be prepared to meet them."

"Ope."

"So on that note, make sure you look presentable, and bring your usual hot self."

"Pfft- okay. Only since you asked so nicely." Although, it seemed like you were fine with dressing presentable tonight, you were still slightly confused on why. It's just another one of her friends?

"Good, good," Aimsey smiled, before turning away to officially walk off this time.

You swore that before you watched them turn away, that their was a mischievous glint in their eyes. Weird.
