December is back again and the snow is falling down and fast. Scarlett is now six months old and jabbering up a storm.

I was making dinner and mom was coming over with Gene. They have been dating for the last couple of months and surprisingly I am ok with it.

Madden comes into the room carrying Scarlett around like an airplane. "We are hungry babe."

"Well, mom should be here soon. The spaghetti is done just waiting on the garlic bread."

The doorbell rang and Madden opened it and Mom walked in smiling with Gene.

"I brought cookies!"

"Thanks, mom! I was going to make some but I knew that you would. You guys come in and have a seat the food is ready."

"Oh let me help you get it to the table." She smiled.

"I like seeing you smile. I'm happy that you are happy."

"Thanks, sweetie! I wasn't sure how you would feel about it."

"I'm good mom I promise." I picked up the salad and carried it over to the table.

Madden put Scarlett in her high chair and she begin banging on the top after Gene showed her.

The doorbell rang again and I went and opened it and it was Jerrick and Carlin.

"Hi, guys come in!"

"Thanks for having me over again! I brought cake."

"Thanks, Carlin! I'm sure it's yummy! You guys go have a seat."

Mom carried the spaghetti and meatballs over with the mashed potatoes over and I grabbed the garlic bread before sitting down.

"I am thankful to be here," Gene said.

"So are we." Jerrick smiled.

"We are glad that you are here and well Scarlett has been missing you guys. I haven't gotten her out with all of the snow."

"Wait until she's older she will love it as much as you do Reyah." Mom laughed.

"I can't wait until then. "I'm glad you guys came over to celebrate Christmas with us. We are excited for Scarlett's first."

"Where are mom and dad?"

"They were on their way they were over mom's sisters again," Madden said.

We were still eating when the doorbell went off and Madden let them in.

"Sorry we are late can we still eat?" Chet asked.

"Of course, you can silly!" I laughed.

I got up and got them both plates and we all sit and eat together and talked while they finished up.

Madden said he would do the dishes later because we all wanted to gather around the tree and watch Scarlett open her gifts even though she had no clue what was going on.

We laughed and took pictures and had a great time. Scarlett enjoyed all the attention and she even giggled when the cats were shredding the wrapping paper.

Those cats absolutely love Scarlett and she loves them as well.

I look around the room and smile because I love my little family even though my dad is missing I know he is smiling down on us and he would want mom to find love again and I hope she has with Gene.

Madden wrapped his arm around me. "I got you something."

He handed me a small box and I opened it and it was more charms for my bracelet.

The charms were pretty a Heart and also an S for Scarlett.

"Oh, I love them Madden. I got you new fishing poles for when you and Joey go and fish where we got married but I also have you a present for later."

"Oh, I love those types of presents." He grinned.

Jerrick handed Carlin a present and while she was trying to open it he got on one knee and proposed right in the living room.

I was so excited for them because I helped him pick out the ring and I knew she was the girl for him.

When they get married I guess he will have to move out of Mom's unless Carlin moves in.

The doorbell rang and Madden went and opened the door and Brynn was carrying Jacie and Joey was behind her.

"I was wondering when you were going to get here!" I smiled.

"We had to go visit his mom even though she didn't know us we wanted her to see Jacie," Brynn said.

Madden handed out gifts and I held Jacie while Scarlett was sitting up beside me on the couch and she was reaching for the baby.

"I think she wants a sibling." Mom laughed.

We had cake and ate candy and oooh'd over Carlin's ring and talked about wedding planning. I felt like I just got married and now here is Carlin ready to take the plunge.

A couple of hours later everyone left and Scarlett was already asleep so I took her upstairs and put her to bed and then went and put on my Christmas surprise like every year.

When I came out of the bathroom in my gold lacy present Madden whistled. "Damn baby you look sexy!"

"Only for you Madden but this isn't your only present I have you one more thing." I smiled getting it out of my dresser and handed him the box.

He looked at the box and then looked at me and smiled.

"Open it Madden," I said sitting on the end of the bed.

"This is like Deja Vu Reyah." He laughed lifting the lid.

"Holy shit! We did it again."

"Surprise! I'm pregnant! Merry Christmas!" I giggled.

Madden pushed me back on the bed laughing and kissed my lips. "I am the happiest man in the world and I am so thankful that you walked into the shelter but the credit goes to Russ."

"My dad is still looking out for us Madden. I am two months along. I couldn't wait to tell you."

"I'm so happy! Every Christmas keeps getting better but I really enjoy these lacy numbers and I'm ready to take it off of you."

"I'm ready for you to take it off of me Madden."

"Merry Christmas Reyah! I love you with all of my heart and I'm so wrapped in you."

"Merry Christmas Madden! I love you more." I smiled pulling his lips down to mine.
