Jerrick and I had gone to see Joey's dad and got our suits.

All that is left is to write my vows and marry Reyah. I can't believe I get to marry the woman of my dreams.

I smiled while on break at work. My phone ringing snapped me out of it.

☎️ Hey babe!

☎️ Hey! I'm over at Mom's and we are cooking up some things and she wants to have dinner with us tonight. She's making your favorite.

☎️ Spaghetti?

☎️ You know it! She said she wanted to have dinner with us before the big day.

☎️ Sounds good. I'm about finished up here and I'll come on over.

☎️ Be careful! I love you Madden.

☎️ I love you too Reyah.

I walked to Shirley's office because I had something to ask her.

"Hey, Shirley can I ask a favor?"

"What is it Madden?" She asked smiling.

"After the wedding, Saturday can we stay the night there?"

"Of course, you can sweetie!"

"Thanks, Shirley! I appreciate it. I'm heading out of here but call if you need me."

"I will! Have a good evening Madden."

I headed out to my truck and down to the jewelry store to buy her something for our wedding day.

I had something in mind to give her but when I walked in and saw these earrings I wanted to get them for her.

They were diamonds and shaped in a heart and I knew those were the ones.

I checked out and hid them in the door of the truck and headed to Libs.

I knocked on the door and then just walked on in.

Reyah met me at the door and wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me.

"Hey, babe!" I kissed her lips again.

She grabbed my hand and we walked into the kitchen and Lib and Jerrick were setting the table.

"It smells good in here guys."

"Reyah said your favorite was spaghetti and I wanted to have dinner with you guys before the big day."

"I appreciate it Lib I cant wait to eat."

Jerrick brought over some drinks and the garlic bread and we all sit down to eat.

"Mom I appreciate all of this and I am excited for the weekend. Your dress came right?"

"It did and I love the green color," Lib said.

"Are we making your cake?" Jerrick asked.

"I was hoping you would," Reyah said.

I was too busy slurping my spaghetti but I knew Reyah had all the details done with Brynn's help and now Jerrick and Libs too."

"Any certain flavor you want?" Lib asked.

Reyah looked over at me. "That almond cherry flavor right?"

"Yes please," I said taking another bite.

"Madden there is plenty more if you want it."

"Thanks, Lib you are the best mother-in-law." I grinned.

"I think tomorrow night my parents want us all over to their house for dinner," Jerrick said.

"Sounds good. Just let us know what time." Reyah said.

"Mom likes to eat my 6 pm. She's always been that way." I laugh.

"That's fine with us. Maybe I will call her later to see if she wants me to bring anything." Lib said.

After dinner, I went to the couch with Jerrick and Peanut butter while Reyah helped her mom clean up. I tried to help but she pushed me out of the kitchen.

"So are you ready for Saturday?"

"I've never been more ready in my life Jerrick."

"What took you so long to get here?"

"I stopped by the jewelry store and picked her a little something up for Saturday."

"You are the sweetest Madden." Jerrick smirked when Reyah walked in and sit between us and Peanut butter moved off of my lap onto hers."

"You steal the cats everywhere we go." I laugh.

"I can't help it that they like me more."

"I don't blame them." I leaned over and kissed her cheek.

A little while later we said goodbye and I followed her to the house since we drove in separate cars.

Once home she put the leftovers in the fridge and I went to pour her some wine and grab me a beer and we went out on the patio to sit.

"So I talked to Shirley and asked if we could stay there Saturday night at the lake and she said she didn't mind one bit. I figured you would be ok with that."

"Oh, I love the thought of that Madden."

She laid her head on my shoulder and I kissed the top of her head. "I'm excited to marry you. Do you have your vows done?"

"Almost how about you Madden?"

"Most of them are wrote but I need to go back over them to make sure it's how I want it."

"Are you nervous?" She asked looking up at me.

"I guess a little but really just happy to be marrying you and give you my last name."

"Reyah Berlin I like it."

"It's not like it's a big wedding so I think we will be ok and a small reception there at the lake," I said.

"Brynn helped me to pick out a candle for my dad to have it burning in his chair."

"I love that babe. He is the reason we are walking down this aisle."

"My dad was sneaky and did so much after he passed."

"When are you going to read the letter he left you for your wedding day?"

"Oh Madden I forgot but I should probably read it the night before because I don't want to cry and mess up my makeup on the day of."

"Thank you for reminding me. Maybe I should go look for it now so that I don't forget."

"Go ahead babe I will lock up and feed the cats and then I'll be on up to bed."

She leaned over and kissed me and I watched her ass until she walked into the house.

Maybe tonight she will let me get it in.
