"How in the world did you beat me Reyah?"

"Reyah failed to tell you she used to do this with her dad all the time." Libby laughed out

"Oh, you cheater! No wonder you stayed in the snow three minutes and I only made it one."

I couldn't help but laugh and smile.

"You still owe me a kiss," I smirked.

After we went in and dried off we went back to the kitchen and had a slice of pecan pie.

"God this is good. I'm going to get so fat eating here. I'm going to need to exercise."

"Pecan pie was my Russ's favorite at Christmas." Libby smiles through tears.

Reyah got up and hugged her mom and kissed the top of her head.

"I love you Reyah! You guys go to the living room and let me clean up." She said standing up going to the kitchen.

"I don't mind helping you clean up Libby."

"Oh no, Madden your a guest." She smiled.

We went and sit on the back porch and watched the snowfall.

"I need one of these at my house. No wonder your dad spent so much time out here."

"He loved drinking a cup of coffee out here at night and reading his paper out here of the morning." She said.

There was a stack of papers beside the chair I was sitting in with a pair of glasses on top along with a word puzzle book and a couple of ink pens.

"I'm guessing all this stuff was his?"

"Yeah mom doesn't have the heart to move any of this stuff and honestly neither do I." She said tucking her feet underneath her.

"Why don't we go to my house for a while and watch movies in front of the fireplace?"

"Sounds like fun. I don't have to get up early tomorrow what about you?"

"No, I don't have to now that we don't have as many animals." I smile.

"Let's go. I just need to tell mom where I'm going." She said getting up looking for her mom.

Are we really going to watch a movie by the fire or will we be kissing? I hope to kiss.

"Mom had the smile of the Cheshire Cat on her face when I told her I was going to your place."

"Well if she wants grandkids as bad as she said I'm willing." I chuckle.

Reyah smacked my arm handing me my jacket. "Let's go before I change my mind.

"I'm right behind you." I smiled.

I helped her into my truck and then got in and headed to the house.

Once there I helped her out of my truck and into the house. "Make yourself comfy and I'm going to go start the fire."

"Have any popcorn? I can get that ready for the movie.

"Yeah, the cabinet over the microwave," I said walking into the living room.

When I walked back to the kitchen she was searching for a bowl.

I walked up behind her and reach above her and grabbed a big bowl.

"I never would have been able to reach that." She laughed.

She poured the popcorn into a bowl while I looked in the fridge. "Do you want a beer?"

"Yeah, that sounds good Madden."

"What do you want to watch?"

"It doesn't matter to me whatever you want to put on." She smiled up at me.

We sit down on the floor in front of the fire and I grab the remote.

"How about the new Addams family two cartoon movie?"

"Sounds good to me. I love cartoons anyways." She laughed.

I took the top off of our beers and handed one over to her.

"Can you catch popcorn in your mouth?" She asked.

"I can try. I mean my mouth is big enough." I chuckle.

She throws a piece of popcorn and I catch it in my mouth.

I think that deserves a kiss or something."

"Or something? Maybe another popcorn in the mouth Madden?"

"You like picking at me Reyah." I smiled taking a drink of my beer.

We focused a little on the movie and eat the popcorn.  We finished those beers and I went and got us two more.

The movie wasn't half bad but I couldn't stop focusing on her and when she would laugh I just felt it in my heart.

I know I could love her and that's what I would love to do.

"Madden are you watching the movie or me?"

"You... I can't help it Reyah."

She looked over at me and smiled taking a drink of her beer.

I need to kiss her now. I scoot over closer to where she is and when I bring my hand up and touch her face she leans into me.

That's all the validation I needed and leaned my forehead against hers. "Can I kiss you?"

"Of course you can Madden."

I caressed her face and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear as our eyes met and then I kissed her.

Her lips are as soft as the first time. She grabbed the front of my shirt as she kissed me harder.

I pulled back and she smiled at me once she opened her eyes before pulling me back in.

As soon as her tongue brushed across my bottom lip I let her in and our tongues tangled together as if they knew each other forever.

When she moaned it was killing me and I was willing my buddy to not rise.

When we broke apart she smiled. "I really like kissing you Madden."

"I enjoy kissing you too" I smiled at her pulling her in for another kiss.

"Yikes is it hot in here or just me?" She laughed.

"Oh your definitely hot," I smirked.

As I leaned into her again she pulled me back with her as she laid on the blanket I have spread out.

As her lips touched mine over and over I felt giddy like a schoolboy getting my first kiss again.
