All I can think about is her clothes falling off. Her lips were soft on my cheek I just wish it was my lips.

I followed her out into the lobby just as Libby was coming in. I walked over to take the containers out of her arms.

"Thanks again for this morning Libby and for bringing more cookies."

"Oh, your welcome Madden." She said patting my face.

"I think people come for the cookies." I laugh.

Brynn and Joey walked in and went over to where Reyah was standing. They were laughing and I couldn't help but watch her eyes light up as she smiled with her friends.

I walked over and thanked them for coming to help again.

"It's no problem. We really love Rufus." Joey said.

"That's great man! He was such a sweetheart and deserved a home."

Once I was done with what I was doing I walked back out from and there was that Micah guy. He was standing right in front of Reyah.

I walked over and put my arm around her and kissed her cheek letting my lips linger. "Hey, baby I need your help with some kittens."

Reyah looks at me and smiles and it was a genuine smile as she walked away with me.

Once in my office, I shut the door with her leaned up against it and I have her boxed in. "Was he bothering you?"

"Yeah wanted me to get lunch with him but I told him I was busy. Then he asked if he could be my financial advisor." She said rolling her eyes.

"Just let me go talk to him. I'm going to tell him that you are my girl and I would appreciate him not coming back unless he wants to adopt an animal."

She reaches out and grabs my shirt. "You don't have to do that Madden."

"I can see how much he is bothering you and so it's bothering me," I said.

She's clutching my shirt so tight in her fingers and my body is so close to hers.

I can't stop staring at her eyes and lips and she's doing the same to me.

I don't know to speak or just let her lead because I'm ready to kiss her right now.

"Madden?"

"Yeah Reyah?"

"What if Christmas comes early?"

"What do you mean by that?"

"You said you wanted a kiss for Christmas."

"Yeah, I did say that." I smiled as she pulled me closer.

"I can't wait until Christmas." She said pulling my face to hers.

The next thing I know she has her arms around my neck and her lips are on mine.

Damn, they are as soft as I thought they would be. I closed my eyes and moved my lips on hers.

She couldn't pull me any closer but she tried when I cupped her face in my hands and kissed her harder.

She let out a low moan as my tongue brushed across her bottom lip and she opened up to me.

Our tongues found one another's and the kiss was turning even hotter when there was a knock on the door.

We jumped apart and Reyah wiped her mouth and went over and sit down at my desk.

When I opened the door it was Pat. He was looking between us but didn't say anything. "Sorry to bother you boss but we have an issue. Two people are wanting the same dog and are about to fight."

"Shit ok I'm coming. You ok in here Reyah?"

"Yeah go go! I'm good." She smiled.

I didn't have time to focus on the kiss because I had to go break up a fight but neither knew that the dog they wanted has siblings.

Once I showed them the brother to the other one they were fine and took both.

When I went back to the lobby I saw Micah standing over in the corner alone so I decided to walk over.

"Hey man if you're not going to adopt an animal I suggest you leave. Reyah doesn't want to talk to you or go out to lunch with you."

"How would you know? I mean no disrespect but she did not say that."

"It's because she doesn't want to talk to you. She is my girlfriend and she does not need to go to lunch with you."

"Oh, I didn't realize you were a thing." He said.

"Well now you know so I would appreciate it if you stopped bothering her," I said walking off.

When I went back into my office she was still sitting there staring at the computer.

"Did you get the dogs sorted?"

"I did because there were brothers and both got adopted." I smiled sitting beside her.

"Oh good, I'm glad it worked out."

"Are we good Reyah?"

"We are good Madden. Actually more than good." She smiled.

"I think I took care of Micah. I told him you were my girlfriend and I would appreciate it if he stopped asking you out to lunch."

"Did you really?" She laughed.

"I did and he said he didn't realize and I just walked away."

"Thanks! Maybe he will leave me alone." She smiled.

"Are you sure we are good Reyah?"

"So good Madden."

"Good enough for another kiss?"

She shakes her head and bites her lip and leans over as I kiss her again.

"Ok, I want to change my Christmas wish because they seem to be coming true." I laughed.

"Is that so? What is your wish now?"

"Maybe I'll just get the girl for Christmas."

"Only if you're a good boy." She laughs leaning over for another kiss.

As soon as we broke apart mom knocked on the door and walked on in.

"Madden! Oh sorry didn't mean to interrupt but can you come out here a minute?"

"Sure mom," I said getting up following her out the door.
