A week later you were back in the Fairy Tail guildhall in Magnolia once more. The guild was unusually quiet, since barely anyone was there. Nearly everyone had left to go training, minus the few who had no interest in competing in the Grand Magic Games.

You yourself had started some training as well. You had already gotten the basics for one of Mystogan's spells, called Air Body.

You now sat in front of Makarov in his run down office. He was telling you about Mystogan, from his personality, to the things he wore, to, of course, his magic. He was a quiet man who tried to keep his nakama out of his personal life for their own safety. He was also the heir to the thrown in Edolas, and just as they left, he had been crowned king. He always wore a mask and a bandana on his head. Makarov showed you a picture of him, and actually handed you his staffs and former clothing. However, you'd have to take some alterations to the clothing since you weren't the same size as him. Makarov told you that he had already decided the teams (he found a small text in the book that said he was allowed to enter two). The first team would, of course, consist of Natsu, Lucy, Erza, Wendy, and Gray. The second team would consist of you, Laxus, Gajeel, Mira, and Juvia (which happened to be the same time you found out Laxus was now a part of the guild again).

After the info dump, Makarov asked you where you wanted your guild mark. You decided to put it on the top of your dominant hand, so people would see it when you were Mystogan but you could conceal it under bandages when you were yourself. You also got it in the color of (f/c), as it was your favorite.

He provided you with Mystogan's own spell journal where he kept up with the magic he knew, so you could learn it yourself.

And with that, you left to go train (making sure that both Jellal and Draculos knew where you were).

Timeskip

Three months had passed. Three quite eventful months.

First off, after a month of training, you had been requested to come to the Magic Council headquarters in Era. They had kicked Shirasato off the Wizard Saints. He had been arrested for conspiracy, and when they searched his home, they found disturbing imagery and writings. He was also involved in dark guilds. Since there was an available spot now, Gran Doma, the Magic Council chairman, promoted you to the spot of the tenth Wizard Saint once more.

Secondly, a week after that had happened, Draculos showed up to help you train. He brought many books that had similar spells to Mystogan, and after about a week, he went back to his own home.

Lastly, during the last month of training, Crime Sorciere stopped by. Ultear offered to unlock your second origin, but much to her surprise, you already did so. When you were a young teenager, you had learned how to from a book, and being a little too curious, you decided to test it out. The book underestimated how painful it would be. They left afterwards, their next stop being the Natsu team to offer the same thing.

Now you were on a train to Crocus. You were going ahead of Fairy Tail as to not seem suspicious. You had a separate hotel than Fairy Tail Team B that wasn't too far from it. You would have to go their room tonight since teams were supposed to be in their rooms by midnight.

But for now, it was exploration time...

You viewed the multiple attractions. Even though you had been to Crocus many times in the past (for business reasons as a Magic Council member, of course), it had changed a lot since the Grand Magic Games happened to be a very big event.

But after you had finished touring those, you simply walked the streets, eyeing the multiple vendors for anything that could capture your eye.

"(F/n)!"

Your head shot up at the familiar voice. You saw a bald head peaking above the many people on the street. "Jura!"

He made his way through the crowd up to you, before placing a large hand on your shoulder. "It's great to see you Fernandes. I see you haven't aged a day."

"Actually, I've aged quite a few months," you joked to which he chuckled. You noticed that people looked nervous and started to whisper to each other. After all, how often do you see two wizard saints in close proximity?

"Would you like to go have tea?"

"Sure!" You smiled.

You two sat in front of each other, him with his Oolong Tea and you with your (f/beverage).

"Congratulations on once again becoming Wizard Saint."

"Thank you. And congrats on 5th Wizard Saint. That's impressive. Soon enough you'll be a 'God of Ishgar'."

Even though he didn't blush, he seemed to get a little bit flustered which was unlike him. "Thank you. And that'll most likely be a long time from now."

"Never know," you shrugged.

"I didn't think you would involve yourself with the Grand Magic Games," he changed the topic.

You smirked, "Really? I'm a combat mage! It's right up my alley!"

"Maybe when you were a child," he couldn't help but smile, "but you've become much more... tame since then."

"True. I guess it's just curiosity's sake. I'm quite intrigued by Sabertooth and just how strong they are to have managed to top all other guilds."

"Well, I never competed before. I will be this year since Fairy Tail is competing."

"Oh?" You leaned back. Maybe you'd get to fight him.

Actually... that wasn't a good idea.

The two of you conversed some more before deciding to say your farewells. Fairy Tail should be arriving around this time anyways, so you decided to venture out to see if you would run into them.

Eventually, you stumbled upon a huge crowd. It seemed like there was a fight going on. You sighed. Of course there'd be a fight. After all, it is the Grand Magic Games, and there are nearly a hundred guilds competing.

You walked towards the ruckus, finding two mages in the center, with Natsu on his knees looking at the blond one who seemed to be taunting him. Your eyebrows furrowed. You felt like you've seen this blond before. Blond, spiky hair, blue eyes, vest... It all seemed familiar. You shook your head as if to shake away your thoughts. Hopefully you still had some form of authority.

"What's going on here?"

Everyone turned to look at you with wide eyes. People who surrounded you quickly took steps back to give you room. The blond turned his head in annoyance, but once his eyes landed on you, they widened in disbelief, excitement, and some form of adoration which confused you. Probably just a fan.

"(F/n)!" Natsu yelled in relief. "Thank Ishgar you're here! C'mon! Let's get away from these jerks!"

"(F/n)?" The blond shakily asked.

You looked at him for a few moments, trying to place his face to a name, but you couldn't. "Do I know you?"

"I suppose it has been seven years, huh?"

You raised your eyebrows in question.

"It's me. Sting Eucliffe. Does that name ring any bells?"

You studied him for a few more seconds before your eyebrows widened in realization. "Oh yeah! You were that twelve year old that asked me to be his girlfriend!

"Yeah. And at the time you said I was too young for you..." Sting smirked as he slowly stalked up to you. You started backing up until your back hit the wall and he trapped you with his arm. "Well, I'm 19 now, the same age as you. So, how about I give you that offer again, hm?"

You dumb founded, face going 50 shades redder. Sure, Sting aged really well, and he was quite attractive. It didn't take a genius to realize that. But it would take way more than looks to make you swoon.

"I'm flattered. Really am. But, first off, I barely know you, second off, you were an asshole to my friends, which I'm not a fan of. So, sorry to break it to you, but I'm gonna have to decline that offer." You narrowly made your way past him, your shoulder bumping into his chest. He seemed to have been shocked at this, like he's never been rejected before. You walked over to Natsu and helped him up. He thanked you, as did Lucy.

Looking back at Sting, he still looked confused and in disbelief, making you sigh. You decided to just leave it be, however, and walked your two new guild mates to their inn.

"So, (F/n)," Lucy spoke up, "What are you doing here?"

That's right. They didn't know about Team B. "Oh, I'm just... supporting my friends!" You smiled while a small bead of sweat dripped down your forehead.

"I wish you were competing! I wanna fight you!" Natsu roared.

"Uh, maybe after the games," you scratched your head.

"Really?!"

"She said maybe Natsu," Lucy rolled her eyes.

"Alright, you two," you stopped in front of their inn, "Go ahead and get inside. I'm gonna head back."

"Thanks again, (F/n)!" Natsu yelled over his shoulder. You nodded towards him and headed back to Team B's inn just in case something happened at midnight...
