All this was too much for Brijesh to handle. He just could not tolerate everything he was hearing. His anger was increasing.

Brijesh - "I think I should leave. Baldev, can I take Shefali with me?"

Shefali's heartbeat increased. She knew that if she went with her father, he will surely punish her. His eyes were expressing extreme anger.

Ashutosh - "Of course, uncle. Shefali must go with you. In fact, I will also accompany her."

Shefali looks at Ashutosh. She was surprised. Baldev and Asha understood that there are things they are unaware of. 

Baldev - "A very good idea, Ashu. You and Shefali go and pack your bags. I hope it's not a problem if Ashu also goes with you, is it Brijesh?"

Brijesh Singh could not refuse his son-in-law. His plans of punishing Shefali were destroyed. 

Brijesh - "Of course not. I will be more than happy if he comes." (thinking) "He destroyed my plans. Now, neither I will be able to hurt Shefali nor Rajesh will be able to enjoy. I can't even say no to him."

Ashutosh smirked. He had won half the battle. He took Shefali to their room.

Ashutosh-Shefali's Room

Ashutosh enters with Shefali and makes her sit on the bed. He kneels down in front of her.

Shefali - "I don't want to go, Ashu. Please."

Ashutosh - "Shefali , trust me. I won't let them hurt you. But I cannot refuse him on his face."

Asha enters the room. She smacks Ashutosh on his head.

Asha - "Why can't you refuse? If she doesn't wish to go, she won't. I will see to it. Come with me."

Ashutosh and Shefali look at each other and then follow Asha. 

Living Room

Asha enters the room with Ashutosh and Shefali.

Asha - "Bhai sahab, I am really sorry. They won't be able to go with you. My friend, Mrs. Joshi has invited us to her place for dinner."

Baldev looks at Asha in surprise. Ayushi lowers her head to suppress a giggle. 

Brijesh - "Oh! No problem. The can come some other time. I will leave, now."

Saying so, Brijesh leaves the house. Baldev stands up and faces Ashutosh.

Baldev - "Ashu, book five tickets for New York."

Ashutosh and Ayushi burst out laughing. Asha grins sheepishly. Shefali looks at everyone's face.

Shefali - "What happened? Who is going to New York?"

Ayushi - "We are going, bhabhi. We are invited for dinner."

Baldev also laughs along with Ashutosh and Ayushi. Shefali looks at everyone confused. Finally, Baldev answers her query.

Baldev - "Mrs. Joshi, who has invited us to dinner today, lives in New York."

Asha - "I could not think of any other name."

Baldev, Ashutosh and Ayushi keep on laughing, while Shefali gets emotional. She moves forward and hugs Asha.

Shefali (almost in tears) - "Thank you, Maa."

Asha pats her head lovingly. Seeing an emotional Shefali, everyone stops laughing. 

Asha - "You don't thank your mother, Shefali. Now, tell me. Why don't you wish to go there?"

Baldev gets shocked listening to his wife's question. He looked at Shefali. Shefali breaks the hug and looks at Ashutosh. Ashutosh nods his head. 

Ashutosh - "Please sit down first. Ayu, sit with Shefali."

Everyone settles down. Ashutosh starts narrating. As he finishes, Baldev and Asha were shocked. There were tears in Shefali's eyes. And then......
