She cried,
that
awful,
cold night.
For the
battle,
had been lost,
once again.
And she
sobbed,
shoving it
away.
Shoving
away,
the cold,
gleaming blade.
Then went
under,
her heavy,
thick covers.
To stifle,
her cries,
as the pain,
intensified.
And it wasn't,
just pain,
but feeling,
herself go insane.
Pressing
against,
her tear
stained pillow.
That lately
had become,
her single
best friend.
And it hurt,
cause she didn't know,
where to turn,
or where to go.
And there was light
that shone,
below the cracks
of her closed door.
And she could
hear laughter,
coming
from far below.
Of those
she treasured.
Those she,
never let know.
The pain
she fights,
every
long night.
Can't you see
the bags
heavy under
her eyes?
But it's
okay,
she
won't whine.
She'll pull
her lost
pieces
back together.
With
two
simple words:
I'm fine.
