I woke up with the light blinding my eyes, i groan

"Addie! Are you alright?" Someone said, my vision is still blurry. I blink my eyes afew times and vision is clear

Jordan sitting beside me, he looks at me, concerned

"W-where am i?" I groan, rubbing my temple

"In the school's clinic, they beat you up pretty good"

I tired to stand up but, my back quickly protests

"Woah! Don't stand just yet" He said, carefully laying down

"Who carried me here?"

Jordan shook his head "By the way, i brought your backpack"

I smile at him "Thanks jordan"

He smile back at me

Then the door open reaveling a nurse, she walks over to me and jordan

"How are you feeling, Adeline?"

"Not good, my back hurts really bad"

She nods her head "I think it's best if you stay at home and don't go anywhere until your back is healed"

"B-bu-" I said but, i was cut off by the nurse

"No buts, no going anywhere until your back is healed, got it?"

I nod my head at her

"And you" She said, pointing at jordan "make sure she doesn't go anywhere"

He nod his head at her

How am i going to meet stranger tonight?

"Ok, good, both of you can go now, please take her home Mr. Wilson"

Jordan sling my backpack on his back then help me stand up, when his hand touch my back, i hiss in pain, he mumbled 'sorry' instead he put his arm around my waist

And we exit the school clinic, we both walk to the parking lot, we walk over to jordan's car and open the car door for me, i carefully slipped inand jordan shut the door and he went over to the driver's seat, he start the engine and we're off

"Why do they beat you up?"

I sigh "They thought that i pranked them"

Which i did

He looks at me "Why?"

"Eyes on the road and they thought i did it to gain popularity"

"Well, that's stupid. You hate being the center of attention"

I shrugged "They don't know that"

"That's true"

"Don't fight them, ok?"

Since we both grew up together, he has become like my older brother, always protecting me from people who bullied me

Once, i was bullied, the bully came to me,push me to the ground and stole my lunch money. Well, jordan, he punch the kid's nose until it bleed everywhere, he wasn't alowed to come to school for 4 days

So, people don't make jordan angry

"I"ll try, but if i fight them...."

I glare at him "No"

He sigh "Ok, i just don't want them to hurt you, again"

How am i suppose to meet stranger?

"And we are here"

I look over to see my house, i grab my backpack and got off the car and slowly walk towards my house before i open my front door

"Hey! Addie"

I turn my head to look at him "Yes?"

"Be careful ok?"

I nod my head at him and went inside, thankfully my mom wasn't home, i went upstairs into my room and close the door, i drop my bag and slam my body to my bed

Since, i don't have anything to do, i went downstairs to watch TV, i turn on the TV and flip through the chanel to see they is nothing good so, i decide to play a dianey movie

You are never to old for a disney film

I pick hercules and put it in the DVD player, i went to the kitchen to grab some doritos and went back to the living room, getting comfy with my blankets, ladies and gentleman the movie has begun

Half way through the movie, i feel myself getting sleepy, i feel my eyes getting heavier and heavie. Not long after that i fell asleep

I yawn and strech my body but, my back protest and i hiss in pain, i look over to the clock to see it is '6:45'

Since, i'm too lazy to change so, i just walk out of the door, i walk along the sidewalk and went into the woods

The stars gleamed under the night sky,    i always admired them, you can't really see stars that often anymore, the lights of buildings will always over power the stars, it kinda sucks

I arrive at the meadow and stranger has not arrive yet, i sat down and pluck a flower, twirling it

"It's just like the first time we met"

I turn around to see stranger

"Yeah, it is"

"The first time we met, you thought i was an alien"

"I thought you could read my mind, i didn't know that it was my habbit to speak my thoughts out loud"

He chuckles and sat down next to me "When we first met, i was happy to see you"

I look at him "Why?"

"I was happy to know, there's a person like me, who wants to be away from the real world"

"I was suprised when i saw you here for the first time"

"Why?"

"I didn't expect a guy like you to come here"

He chuckles "That's understandable"

"Stranger, why don't you show me your face?"

"Because, i'm afraid" He said, looking down at the ground

"Afraid that?"

"Afraid that, you're going to faint when you see my handsome face"

I snort at him

"What?! It's true! Alot of girl are head over heels for me, consider yourself as one of the lucky ones to hang out with me"

"I can't see your face, how am i suppose to know?"

"I'm being honest right now"

"Maybe, when you reveal yourself, you are actually really ugly" I said, laughing

"Hey! I'm really handsome!"

I laugh at him even more and he join me

Tonight is filled with laughter and smiles, stranger actually make me forgot about my not-so-great day and made it a slightly better day
