I woke up to the sound of my annoying alarm clock ringing, 

"5 more minutes...." I groan, ready to go back to sleep again, putting the covers to my chin and snuggled with my pillow trying to get comfy

Suddenly, I remembered about last night, meeting this stranger at the meadow

Maybe I was just dreaming last night, yeah I was just dreaming

I pinched my arm to make sure that last night was real, I sat up from my bed thinking about last night

Oh god, Last night was real, what have I gotten myself into?

I rubbed my face with my hands, trying to get last night event get out of my head

Am I slowly going insane?

I walked to my bathroom taking a quick shower and changing into some simple white tee and some black jeans and for shoes some slip on vans

I quickly grabbed my backpack and went downstairs to see my mom cooking breakfast

"Good morning, mom" I kissed her cheek good morning

"Good morning, sweetie do you want breakfast? "

"No, thanks mom I'm not hungry"

"Well, atleast take an apple on the way out"

"Okay, I will" before leaving it quickly grabbed an apple on the way out

"Bye mom!"

"Bye sweetie!"

As I walked along the path leading to school, I admired how the town look so peaceful in the mornings or how the way the birds chirp in the morning or how people are walking their dogs along the street or how people do a morning jog, with me noticing I was in front of the school gates

Wow, I really do think a lot

Walking towards my locker, I was greeted by my amazing yet annoying best friend, Jordan

"Addie, I missed you" he embarced me into a bear hug

I giggled "You saw me yesterday Jordan"

"So, you didn't miss me? how dare you Adeline I thought you cared about me" His voice laced with fake hurt

"No, I di-"

"Don't say another word, your words already wound me" He said, placing his hand on his heart

"You're just being dramatic, I did miss you, idiot"

"I knew it" he chuckled as he ruffled my hair

"Not the hair!" I yell, when he stop, my hair was already a mess, I pouted at him

And I ruffled his hair "Hey! Not the hair Addie!" he whines

Suddenly, the bell rang, signaling everyone to go to class

Jordan grabbed my hand while smiling down at me "Come on, let's go to class"

"Let's go!"

My first class was science and I couldn't focus because Jordan keeps poking my side with a pencil

"Will you stop it?!" I whisper yell at him

"Never!" he whisper yell back

I threw a pencil at him and it him on the head

"Ouch! You're gonna pay for that"

I stick my tongue out at him and he playfully glare at him

I shook my head at him, and turning my head back to face the professor

My second class was history and I personally find history interesting, not-the-learning-at-school-listen- to- the-boring-teacher-explain it to you, but the history where you get to go to the museum and looking at artifacts

I listen to Mr.Bretton as he explained the Americas journey to become a successful country, while me and Jordan doodled on his notebook silently laughing together

Then lunch came, me and Jordan walking towards the canteen together, me ordering a turkey sandwich with water and Jordan ordering a burger with lemonade, we usually ate lunch at the music room

"Did you go to the meadow yesterday?" he is the only one that knows about the meadow

"Yeah" I replied simply

"Did something happen at the meadow? " he asked curiously

Crap

"N-no"

"Really? You're a terrible liar" His eyebrows raised, he knows when I'm lying

"Fine, a guy came to the meadow" I said, my voice became quieter

"What?! I thought nobody knows that place"

"I thought so too, guess I was wrong"

"What did he say to you?"

"He said to go away but, I said no, so now we have to share the meadow"

"You are one stubborn girl" he chuckled

"That's why the guy got annoyed at me" I smiled at him

"If anything happens, please tell me" he said worried

"Okay"

I took out jordan's history notebook and stared at it before laughing out loud "God! It is our masterpiece!"

It was a drawing of Mr. Bretton explaining the lesson, we drew him with ballet skirt, tiny fairy wings and farting flames

Yup, that's me and my best friend for you

The rest of school went like a blur and that's a good since i want to come home and youtube

Jordan grab my hand "Come on! I can drop you off"

I smile and nod at him, we went to the school's parking lot and got into his car and drove off to my house

My house isn't that far from school, it only takes 15 minutes to get there

I saw the front of my house and got out of jordan's car, gave a wave "Bye jordie!"

He rolls his eyes at me and wave back "Bye addie! See you tomorrow!"

I watch him until his car disapper and went to the front door, grabbing the key's from my backpack and head inside

I close the door and went upstairs to my bedroom and slam myself against my bed with a head full of thoughts

Will that stranger be there again?

Will he even keeps his promise?

I don't care! It's good thing if he doesn't show up, i can be alone

But, sometimes it gets lonely, doesn't it?
