It was five minutes ago that my mother called me and said to never show my face ever again to them in this lifetime.

What was the reason? Because they don't want Sagar anywhere near them.

'what about the care they showed to me since childhood? Did that mean nothing to them' I thought.

I didn't even realise that rain was pouring down from my eyes, I didn't even bother to stop them. I let them flow.

I heard a knock on the door , I ignored it and stared outside the balcony.

I knew it was Sagar who came in because no one else lived here and the maid won't come.

I heard him say something but not clearly as I ran towards the balcony and sat on my knees hiding my face like the child hid their face into the lap of their mother but the difference here was my own mother didn't want to see my face .

I left out a lound cry this time sobbing with shaking body.

I felt Sagar comming near me.

"Hey,hey look up." I heard him say.

I didn't listen to him and kept sobbing.

He came near me and held my face into his warm hands with soft eyes.

" Don't cry , lavender. It's hurting me more, don't cry." He said hugging me.

I joined the hug and cried more.

" Shh, don't cry." He said creasing my hair as I buried my face deep into the crock of his neck like he's the solely reason I'm alive.

He was the reason my family didn't want to see me but yet he felt more comforting then they ever felt.

I stopped crying slowly he was still rubbing his hands on my back as if ensuing he's here for me.

"What happened Lavender?" He asked.

I kept quiet while hugging him more tightly.

"Say it Lavender, who dared to hurt you?" He asked.

"Maa..Maa called me.." I finally answered.

" I'm listening say further." He said kissing the side of my forehead.

A part of me felt jolted by they way he kissed me.

" She.. she told me not to show my face ever again to them." I completed my sentence but as soon as I did he broke the hug and looked into my eyes.

" Don't cry for them ,Lavender." He stopped midway.

And he began to complete his sentence, " I'll tell you everything but please don't cry. It's hurting me watch you cry. Make sure whenever you cry it must be because of joy. Don't cry for the one's who doesn't deserve you. Please, lavender."

His eyes softened more, I was hella confused but a smile crept on my face.

" That's it, smile like this always. Tears don't suit you, Lavender ." He said carrying me up in his arms.

We went to bed and slept hugging eachother like we won't drift apart if we break the hug.
