"Fine, I did promise," she says rolling her eyes amusedly. "But I'll have to take him home first."

"Oh nice, I've been dying to see your house!" I say picking up Slippers leash and walking backwards just so I could see her expression.

"What? Who said I'd let you come in?" She asks raising one brow. "You're not even going in the right direction."

"Oh," I say stopping in my tracks. "Lead the way then captain," I say to Slippers and he immediately pushes me to the left guiding the way to another street.

"That's still not the right direction." I hear her say a few meters behind us. "You're such a dork, just follow me," she says amusedly and starts walking the opposite way, which would make sense since she did come from that way. Nice thinking Anna, but you should have thought of that earlier.

"How were your holidays?" I ask trying to make conversation as we walk side by side.

"Good, how was yours?"

"Great, but I missed you," I say bumping my shoulder lightly on her hers. "Did you spend it in Flagstaff with Lucia?"

"We were supposed to but she didn't want to leave Edward," she answers bumping my shoulder back, she didn't do it as lightly tho.

"Wow, so you spent it with Ed? I wish I could too but I'm happy he at least wasn't alone," I say suddenly noticing where we were heading to and I immediately felt out of place, the more we walked the bigger the houses were getting. "Did you two bond?" I joke trying to mask my discomfort.

"He's not too bad, I can see why you're friends, you two are very alike," she says stopping in front of a house with wooden details, her car was parked in the driveway so it must be it. It was enormous, it made my house look like a container.

The moment we came inside my chin dropped. "Is a teacher's salary that good?" I ask trying not to sound too awed as I take Slippers leash off. I've never been in a house this big, I bet her bathroom is bigger than my room.

"Definitely not, I inherited it from my father."

"Must be nice, the only thing I inherited from my mom is the looks, I'm not complaining though," I say plopping down on one of her sofas. "Do you live here all by your self?"

"Yeah," she says simply eyeing me. "Why are you sitting down?"

"Buuh that's sad, and I have to recover my energies, we walked a lot," I say feigning exhaustion.

"We didn't even walk half a mile," she chuckles.

"I want to see your room," I say out of the blue getting up and looking for Slippers. "Where's mommy's room? Please show me the way captain!"

"Can you stop trying to invade my privacy? Weren't you tired?" Daniella asks amusedly following me and Slippers up the stairs. "Anna, it's not that way."

"Oh," I say turning around and going the other way. "Buddy, your coordination skill aren't looking very good," I tell slippers as I look around until he stops by a door. "Is this it?" I ask Daniella that was just reaching us.

"Yeah," she groans.

"Good job buddy!" I say petting him. "Can I come in?"

"You came into my house uninvited and made yourself comfortable on my sofa, and you're asking for permission to enter my room after searching the house for it?"

"Yeah," I say simply.

She just rolls her eyes and opens the door. The room was clean and the bed was neatly done, yeah definitely not something I would do.

"Are you happy now?" She asks as I come in taking in every detail of it.

"No, first I must find where you keep thy panties."

"Get out of my room Anna, actually, get out of my house."

"Is that the stingray plushie I gave you?" I ask ignoring her last remark as my eyes land on the blue plushie that sat on her bedside table.

"It is," she says grabbing it.

"You keep it in your bedroom, that's really cute," I chuckle. "What did you name him?"

"I didn't name him," she side eyes me.

"Name him stingy."

"That's a terrible name, not very creative either," she mocks putting the plushie back on her bedside table. "Are you done looking? It's getting late, your dad will be worried." Indeed, it was almost 8 and I had yet to eat dinner.

"Can't I sleepover?" I ask with a smirk.

"Absolutely not," she says pushing me out of the room and down the stairs.

"So mean, I've missed you to death and you didn't even give me a welcome back hug," I pout as I get into her car.

"You only left for three weeks, Anna."

"How can you say only? That's a lot," I groaned. "I won't believe if you tell me you didn't miss me too."

"I didn't have time to miss you, you were always bothering me with your stupid perverted messages."

"You're mean, I'll not give you the souvenir I got you," I say knowing she would get curious about it and I could use it to my advantage.

"You got me something?" She asks as she parks her car in front of my house.

"Yeah but you're not deserving of it."

"What is it?"

"I'm not telling you," I say making her roll her eyes. "Well, I can give it to you if you give me a kiss in return."

"That's very low of you," she says amusedly. "Then I guess you can keep it."

"You don't need to reject me so harshly like that, I have feelings too you know?" I say pretending to be hurt. "Wait a sec, I'll go get it."

I pretty much sprinted my way up the stairs and almost died when I was coming back down, my dad was in the living room with potato watching tv and he looked confused and scared at the same time but I didn't give him time to ask.

"That was quick," Daniella chuckles as I sit back on the passenger seat panting like if I had just run a marathon. "Mr Olson would be very proud."

"Close your eyes," I say putting my hand on my pocket where I had the keychain.

"I'm not falling for that, Anna."

"Aren't you curious?" I smirk as I grab her hand positioning it with her palm facing up.

She thinks for a few seconds but ends up giving up and closing her eyes, I love how she's just too curious. I pick the keychain and lay it on her hand but of course, I'll take advantage of the situation.

I quickly lean on her and capture her lips, she instantly kisses me back, as if she was already expecting I'd do that. The kiss was slow, it always is, I never liked to rush it and Daniella seemed to agree.

It only lasted a few seconds before she pulled away with a sigh. "I'm never trusting you again."

"You say it like you didn't want it," I smirk but she simply ignores me and proceeds to see what was on her hand.

"World's best teacher," she chuckles but of course she had to roll her eyes. "Very funny."

"I know," I smirk grabbing her car keys and putting the keychain on them.

She just shakes her head as I hand it back to her. "I should go," she says looking at the car's watch. "Don't be late tomorrow."

"Yes miss," I joke as I open the door to leave. "See you tomorrow."

"Say hi to your dad for me," she says pointing to one of the windows and the moment I turn around I see a figure running away from it.

"I will," I groan. "Bye."

She just waves amusedly as I close the door and for my surprise for the first time ever she doesn't drive right away and actually waits until I get to the door, maybe because it's late or maybe because she wants to marry me, I don't know but I'm a happy sausage.

"Have you got no shame?" I ask crossing my arms as I walk into the living room to a very suspiciously laid down dad.

"What are you talking about?" He asks amusedly making me squint my eyes at him. "I was just checking, for all I know it could be someone trying to abduct you on your way home."

"Yeah sure," I say rolling my eyes as I went to the kitchen. "Daniella said hi by the way."

"Tell her I said hi back," I hear him say from the living room. "Invite her over again so I can have a real conversation with her this time, from dad to teacher."

"Yeah, that's not happening," I say as I take my cereal upstairs, yes cereal, it's too late to eat something heavy and I'm too lazy to cook something light, so cereal all the way.

...

I like my mornings how I like sex, in bed.

I groaned as I made my way inside the school meeting Soph by my locker, we still had about 5 minutes until the first bell.

"Morning," I say as I go through my locker for my calculus notebook.

"Morning," she answers lazily as she uses her phone to check on her eyeliner. "Apparently we're getting a new substitute for Mrs Sulivan, boring."

"Yeah, I know."

"How do you know that?" She asks raising a brow as we walk together through the hallway.

"Uh, I heard someone say on my way to the locker."

"Well anyway, I hope he's nice, because if he's a Mr Olson 2.0 I'm going to kill myself."

"I have no wood to knock on," I joke and just then the first bell started to ring. "This must be a sign."

"A good one I hope," Soph says before we part ways to our classrooms.

The moment I came inside I could already tell Daniella was in a bad mood, she sat on her desk with her arms and legs crossed, in her face was nothing but pure boredom, I love the sight of a teacher that hates school mornings as much as the students do.

"Morning miss," I say with a smirk as I sit down at one of the front seats near her desk.

"Good morning miss Krause, you're not late today what a surprise," she says with a hint of irony.

"How could I, this is my favourite subject," I say with the same tone.

She just gives me a little smirk as she gets up to close the door the moment the tardy bell rings. She is good at ignoring me through her lessons which is great because we don't come out as too suspicious, I'm just the stupid student that is always late and is terrible at calculus but at least tries and miss Evans is just a great teacher that helps me out with it at my countless detentions.

Also, she's so serious and cold that really no one would think she would have any sort of feelings for a student, aside from disgust.

I took notes and I listened, I also looked at her arse but not too much, Jenny would amusedly scold me when I looked too much.

Soon enough the bell rang and we walked together out of the classroom. "It's funny, you have this look on your eyes," she says laughing.

"What look?" I raise my eyebrows.

"I don't know, your eyes cross," she chuckles as we go into the cafeteria to meet Soph.

"My eyes what?"

"Hey Jens," Soph says interrupting her answer.

"Soph wait, this is an important matter we are discussing," I say seating at the table she was in. "My eyes do what?"

"Oh she found out her eyes cross," Soph says amusedly.

"What? You knew?"

"Everyone knows Anna."

"Ughhh I want to die," I say knocking my head on the table.

"It's something totally normal, it's fine," Jenny says trying to comfort me.

"No it's not, I don't do that shit."

"Sophie," Jenny tries to scold her in a whisper but it only makes Soph laugh harder.

"Oh yeah Anna it's tots normal, I was just joking, everyone crosses their eyes," Soph says still laughing, this idiot.

I squint my eyes at her but before I could say anything my eyes wander to the front of the cafeteria, Daniella.

"Is that our new Civics teacher?" Soph asks as she looks at where I was looking and just then I noticed she was with a guy. "He's hot, goddamn."

I looked him up and down, he looks okayish but he definitely looks like he was trying to flirt with her while she just sported the same bored face she wore this morning.

"I think he's flirting with her," Jenny says exactly what I was thinking.

"Who wouldn't?" Soph says matter of factly and then comes closer to my ear saying in a lower tone. "He's trying to steal your girl."

The look on Daniella's face tells me I shouldn't be worried but then again if he's into her he could be a problem, his presence will definitely limit the time we have together at school.

I hate him already.
