"I went looking for you." She looked me dead in the eyes. "I saw you dancing with our calculus teacher."

At that moment my heart skipped a beat but I tried to play it cool, after all, we were doing nothing wrong.

"Yeah," I said a little embarrassed. "I wasn't feeling well so she kinda tried to cheer me up." I shrugged. "Is it that weird?"

"I didn't know you two were close," she persisted but her expression was getting softer.

"Uh, we just spend a lot of detention time together."

"I see," she said sighing but I could see she was not really convinced, "I know you have a crush on her or whatever so seeing that was kind of suspicious."

"I don't have a crush on her, I just think she's pretty that's all." I laughed nervously. "Besides she would never see me that way, she's a teacher." Who am I trying to convince, Jenny or myself?

"I guess you're right." Ouch, "it was really silly of me to assume."

"Are you still mad at me?" I said nudging her arm playfully.

"A little bit," she chuckled. "You should have called to let me know you were going outside. I really wanted to dance with you." She nudged me back. "I can't believe I got replaced by a middle age teacher." Bitch, what?

"I promise I'll pay it off," I said finally opening up my locker and taking my stuff out. "I'll do anything you want, just once so chose wisely."

"Anything?"

"Anything." I reinforced. Anything to take you out of my ass right now.

"I'll think about it, " she said finally leaving, now with a smile.

Jeez, she almost got it. I should probably be more careful from now on.

Damn, if I tell Daniella that Jenny saw us she will freak out, she'll never let me get that close to her again. I know I shouldn't hide this from her but this could ruin all my progress, which is not a lot, besides I don't think Jenny is much of a threat, we really didn't do anything wrong.

I'm such an idiot. I was so lovestruck that I didn't take into consideration her feelings, in my head she just had to fall in love with me, even though she knows nothing about me and vice versa, after all, I'm her student and I kissed her against her will, she has every reason to hate me yet she gave me a second chance, she helped me pass her quiz and partially cares about me, she might be sadistic but I know deep down she's very kind.

Relationships, even friendships take time and all I was seeing was how easy it all seemed on the TV and the books I read.

Last Friday I was given a glimmer of hope, I saw it in her eyes. The way she looked at me, it wasn't how she usually did, I know I shouldn't put my expectations too high though.

Before I knew I was unconsciously walking home already, honestly what a day.

The sun was up and bright in the sky scorching my back, we're in November for fuck's sake, I feel literally like a walking Jewish pig slowly being transformed into a bacon slice. It's not a good feeling.

I should have picked up a car instead of the Jurassic Park themed party for my 18th birthday... Joking, that party was epic.

My only hope was to look around for that familiar fancy car, Daniella always passed by this exact street every time she went home but I spent some time talking to Jenny so she might have gone home already.

And that's when I saw it in the distance, she didn't look like she was going to stop by so I had to make her.

I ran to the edge of the sidewalk as if I was about to cross it which made her stop the car abruptly, thank G-d there was no car behind her.

"What the fuck?!" I heard a faint scream from inside the car.

"Sup?" I said opening the door and seating on the passenger seat. Her face was funny and scary at the same time.

"What do you mean with 'sup'?! I thought you were going to jump in front of my car! Are you fucking insane?!"

"I had to, you weren't going to stop otherwise," I said smirking. "Take me." Interpret it the way you want.

"I'm in a hurry now, just walk." Surprisingly she didn't say it in a sadistic way, she looked really frustrated.

"What's wrong?" I said ready to take the 'you have nothing to do with it' with open arms.

Again surprisingly she just sighed.

I might be taking a shot in the dark but I went for it anyway. "Want me to come with you?" If I'm correct she might be going to the hospital, I wonder if there's something wrong with her mom.

She stared at me a little surprised for a bit as if she was really thinking of it as a possibility, to my utter surprise she turned on the car and there we went.

Is this real?

I know I shouldn't be happy because obviously something is wrong yet I couldn't help feeling this way.

Once we arrived there she went straight to the elevator, no explanations, even the elevator ride was silent. I was way too scared of saying something wrong.

Once we were on the right floor she finally broke the silence. "Do you mind waiting?"

"Of course not," I said soothingly. "I'll wait for you downstairs in the patio with Edward, is that ok?"

"Yeah," she said simply turning around to leave.

"Miss," I called her before she left and opened my bag retrieving a pen and a piece of paper writing my number in it. "Call me if you need me," I said giving her the paper.

She took it nodding her head and finally taking off, leaving me in the lonely corridors by myself.

Oh well, Edward better be missing me.
