Finally, the bell rang and it was time for lunch. I grabbed my book, for the next class and then made my way to the cafeteria, where I saw a bunch of kids headed.

As I was walking someone pushed me on the ground. I grunted in pain and slowly turned around. I saw some guys towering over me. I gave them a furious look.

"Welcome to Harvard-Westlake, Connor!" A guy with blond hair said, I could tell he was a lot taller than me. I collected my textbook and tried to stand up, but the guy snatched my book and pushed me back onto the ground.

"G-Give me m-my book." I mumbled.

"Give me my book." he mocked, while his goons snickered behind.

"Please.." I said, but he passed it to another guy.

"He's fun, Dexter." A guy, with black hair, laughed.

Dexter clenched his fist before stepping forward. He put his arm up, ready to punch my face. I quickly closed my eyes, waiting for the hit to come, but I didn’t feel anything.

"What the heck, Dexter? Don't you have anything else to do? For God's sake, it's his first day." I looked up to see a guy holding Dexter's fist.

"Whatever CC!" Dexter gave me a last smirk, before he walked away with his goons.

The guy held his hand out to for me, so I grabbed it and pulled myself up, to stand, stumbling a bit. Once I gained my balance, I just stood there. The guy had bright blue eyes and dark brown hair. He was tall compared to me, but everyone normally was, since I'm only 5'4.

"I'm sorry about them, they are the biggest bullies at the school." He said, in a sympathetic way.

Bullies? What are bullies?

He chuckled a bit when I looked down for my textbook.

"Here it is." He handed it to me, and I whispered 'Thanks' in return, my eyes never leaving the ground.

"Wanna have lunch with me?" He asked. I slowly shrugged in response.

As we walked into the cafeteria, everyone began to stare at us. I quickly looked down and continued walking behind the guy to a table, where one girl and another guy were already sitting.

"Connor!?" A familiar voice exclaimed.

"H-hi Lucas!" I stuttered out.

"You two already know each other?" The blue eyes asked.

"Yeah. I walked him to his first class." Lucas said while gazing at me.

"Hi! I'm Shelby!" The girl, who was sitting next to Lucas said. She has emerald green eyes and blonde hair.

"Cameron Constance." Blue eyes said.

"C-Connor." I mumbled, this time, I didn't tell anyone my last name.

I was feeling nervous and my heart was beating as hard as it was going to jump out of my chest.

"You can sit down." Lucas said and Cameron nodded. I sat down quietly, staring at my pizza. I don't feel like eating right now.

I began to tug on my sleeves of my sweatshirt, to try and ease my terrible nerves. I don't know what was happening to me, but my anxiety was growing.

"Why aren't you eating?" Lucas asked in between bites of his sandwich.

"Yeh. You're not eating." Cameron mumbled.

I swallowed hard.

People were staring at me, which was causing my anxiety to grow. My hands tightened around each other and my stomach twisted into knots.

"I-I'm n-not…" I couldn't manage the words. I took a deep breath, in attempt to calm my nerves. "I-I'm not h-hung-gry." I saw Shelby whisper something in Cameron's ear.

Their faces started to show worry, which caused me to start hyperventilating.

I don't know what was happening to me.

"Are you okay?" Lucas asked. My face was probably drained of any color and I could feel my heart beating rapidly.

"Um, Connor?" Cameron stood up, looking at me with concerned eyes. "Come with me." I slowly stood up, staring on the ground, but I could still feel everyone’s eyes on me.

"Mind your own business." Cameron yelled to a boy, who rolled his eyes and started eating.

Cameron took me to a hallway, where I tried to catch my breath.

"Are you feeling better now?" He asked in a monotone voice.

"Y-Yeh, a little. Thanks." I sighed in relief.

"No problem. I know what the first day of school feels like. It's not fun." He stated.

"I have never been to school before, maybe that's why." I whispered.

"Never!? Were you home schooled?" He asked. I mutely nodded.

"Can we go back now?" He asked. I felt blue disturbing him.

"I-I'm not g-going." I replied. "You can go."

"Come on. You’ll be okay, now." He said.

As we walked to the cafeteria, I felt the stares of a few people on me, but I ignored it. Cameron pulled me closer to his side and I felt a bit better. We headed back to the table where Lucas and Shelby were eating their pizza.

"Are you feeling better now?" Lucas asked. I nodded and sat down.

"Eat." Cameron said. I picked up the slice of my pizza and began to eat.

"So, where are you from?" Shelby asked.

"Bangkok." I said.

"Cool! Have you been to the Disney land there?" Lucas exclaimed.

"Erm..no."

There's a Disney land in Bangkok? I had never been outside of the house over there and he's talking about Disney land.

"That's in Hong Kong, idiot." Shelby frowned.

"Wait! That's what he said, right?" He asked in between bites of his pizza.

"He said Bangkok, Lucas. Now shut up!" Cameron stated, getting a little angry.

"Oh, sorry." He chuckled, nervously. I just smiled at him, not knowing what to say.

I was running to my second last class, when I bumped into someone. I saw glass shatter on the floor. I stared at it for a moment, before I looked up to see a girl glaring at me.

"You stupid. Crazy. Foolish. Idiot. Do you even know what you’ve done?" She yelled.

"I-I'm sorry." I said staring at her electric blue eyes, that were burning like fire.

She was gorgeous, her eyes where the most beautiful, darkest blue I had ever seen. Her long, dirty blonde hair fell loosely down her back and she wore black skinny jeans, with a light blue t-shirt, under her brown jacket. Everything about her was so attractive.

How could someone be so pretty?

"You broke my phone. You stupid person!" She yelled.

"Come on, let’s go or we're gonna be late for the class." One of her friends said, trying to move her away but she didn't budge. She just continued yelling at me.

I just watched as her pink lips, continued to move and her beautiful face began to turn a slight shade of red.

"I'm sorry." Were the only word that came out of my mouth.

You should stop staring into her eyes.

I can’t stop myself!

Her blonde hair fell around her eyes, as she scoffed at me, before leaving.

I watched her leaving, before I shook my head from all the thoughts in my mind and headed to my next class.

When the last lesson was over, at 3 P.M. I began to make my way over to the exit.

"How was your first day of school?" Lucas asked, and he walked beside me.

"It was good." I said.

"Sup." Cameron and Shelby said in unison.

"I hate Ms. Stephan." Cameron groaned.

"Who doesn’t?" Shelby rolled her eyes and smiled at me.

"I don't. Do you?" Lucas asked me. I shrugged in response; she doesn't seem bad.

"Just tell me one thing, Connor. Are you always this quiet?" Cameron asked.

"No." I simply said.

"Well, we're your friends now. You don't have to feel shy." Shelby smiled.

We walked over to a tree and I looked around for Jaxon.

“We’re friends?" I asked, slightly shocked.

"Yeah, why? Don't you consider us as your friends?" Lucas asked while frowning a bit.

"No, it's just I never had a friend before that was my age." I replied. They all gave me sympathetic smiles.

"Now you have." I smiled, as Lucas said that.

"We should go now." Shelby said.

"It's actually my duty to drop Shelby home after school, every day." Cameron said and Shelby playfully glared at him.

Lucas started making weird faces, which caused me to laugh and their eyes to widen.

Did I do something wrong?

They all began to laugh, when Cameron’s phone beeped.

"Bye short stuff!" Cameron smirked to Lucas and Shelby waved to us, as they both climbed onto his motorbike, before they drove off. I glanced at Lucas who was still glaring at Cameron.

"Who’s going to pick you up?" Lucas asked.

"My father. What about you?"

"My Mom or brother." He sighed.

Soon enough, Jaxon showed up in his Mercedes. I waved at Lucas and walked to the car, with a smile on my face.

"Bye!" Lucas yelled, as I slammed the car door shut.

"How was school? Did you make any friends?" Jaxon questioned, as I buckled up my seatbelt

"It was good, I made three friends. Lucas, Cameron and Shelby. They're cool." I exclaimed.

"Was that your friend, the one who you were talking to?" He asked, while chuckling slightly.

"Yeah. That's Lucas." I said, as I continued to tell him about my day.
