"Sookie, I'm sure that the cake is fine!" Liv sighed down the phone, "no you can't change it now! Definitely no to bailing on us! Sookie! Yes, ok. I'll come over before the party. Ok, bye," Liv hung up.

"Cake malfunction?" Rory asked.

"No, Sookie is just panicking. Just like me. Why did I think having the bachelorette party the night before the wedding was a good idea?" Liv cried.

"Relax, it's going to be fine," Rory told her sister.

"Whatever. So Jess has the rings and sorting the stag do out, Liz has moms dress in her room, TJ has sorted out the gazebo, you have our dresses, Sookie is doing food and I really can't remember anything else! Is grandma and grandpa still coming?"

"Yes, they are. Relax!" Rory repeated.

"No!"

Three meltdowns later, Liv and Rory were sat in their old room, doing makeup and hair for the party. They were only having it at Luke's, and the boys were going to a bar down the road, then back to Lorelai's while Lorelai and Rory stayed at Liz' and Liv stayed in the diner.

At five o'clock, they made their way to the diner, where Jess and Luke had put out decorations.

As they reached there, Liv's phone buzzed, "Hang on," she says to her Mum and Rory.

"Looking good boys!" Lorelai praised.

"Stop it Lorelai, you're marrying my uncle tomorrow...again," Jess drawled.

"Cheeky," she winked.

"You have to be kidding me!" Liv shouted, with a struggle of l curses to follow. She jammed her phone back into her pocket and stormed over to her family.

"What's up?" Lorelai asked.

"The strippers cancelled!" She cried.

"What? No way!" Lorelai gasped, annoyed.

"Yep! What the heck are we meant to do?" Liv exclaimed.

"Strippers?" Luke asked.

"Was only gonna look, babe," Lorelai shrugged.

Liv looked at Jess, "last night! You offered..."

"Nope. I was joking, there's no way I'm stripping in front of your mom, your sister, Miss Patty, Babette, Gypsy and your grandmother. Not forgetting my own mother," Jess laughed.

"Grandma was gonna go before the strippers..." Liv said.

"And you're mom saw all that when you were a baby anyway," Lorelai supplied.

"Sorry," Jess shrugged.

"What are we meant to do?" Liv exclaimed.

"How about get my mother absolutely smashed? That's enough entertainment for us all," Lorelai suggested.

"No, mom. Eugh tonight's gonna be awful!"

At 8 o'clock, Luke, Jess, TJ, Kirk and Michel were sat in a bar, not really speaking and sat awkwardly as Kirk rambled on about his "love life".

"And Lulu sits there and glares at my mom while they wait for me to tell them who cooks the best apple pie, even though there is no difference at all and..."

"Kirk, why do you still live with your mom?" Jess asked him.

"That's not the point, anyway," Kirk dismissed him.

"Kirk, you and Lulu need your own place!" Jess told him, "You're a 40 year old man who still lives with his mom. That's weird."

Kirk pulled out his phone, "uh oh, they're arguing again. I need to go, I don't want them to kill each other." He stood up quickly and rushed out.

"Yes, as exciting as this has been, I must be going soon," Michel drawled.

"Something happened?" Luke asked.

"No, I just don't want to be here," he smiled, sarcastically, leaving.

"Why was he here anyway?" Jess asked.

"Lorelai told him to come," Luke shrugged.

"Come on guys, my uncles funeral was more exciting than this!" TJ complained.

"He's right," Jess sighed, "I'm sorry, Uncle Luke."

"It's ok," Luke shrugged, "I have an idea, though."

"Yeah?"

"You might want a couple more drinks first."

Meanwhile, inside Luke's, Lorelai and her group were wearing ridiculous feather boas (supplied by Miss Patty) and Liv was currently doing shots.

"Come on Grandma, your turn," She slurred.

"No, no that's quite alright," Emily said.

"Come on!" Everyone shouted.

"Fine," and she dank 3 tequila shots before stopping to pull a face.

"Woah, Grandma!" Rory laughed.

"So, Liv dear, when's your big day?" Patty winked.

"Oh, not yet," Liv laughed, nervously. Nobody in Stars Hollow knew about the proposal, and her rejecting him.

"Yeah, darl, you two have been together longer than Luke and Lorelai!" Babette demanded.

Liv opened her mouth to answer, when the door opened and Luke walked in with Jess and TJ.

"Ah there's my boys!" Liz smiled, hugging them all.

"The babysitter called, Liz, and Doulah's being a right pain," TJ told her.

"No! We're going to have to go, now, and rescue the poor girl. Have a good night," Liz smiled, her and TJ leaving as she did.

Luke whispered something to Lorelai, making her grin and say to Emily that she should go to bed, as it was very late.

"You're probably right, Lorelai. Your father said he was going to pick me up in 10 minutes anyway."

"How was the bar?" Liv asked Jess, walking to the chair he was sat on and sitting down on his lap.

"Pretty dead. How much have you had?" Jess asked.

"Is that before the 7 tequila shots? Because, I can't *hiccup* remember," she slurred.

"No more for you then or you'll never get up in the morning," Jess laughed.

"Haha, you're funny!" She giggled.

"None of what I said was funny, but I'll take a compliment where I can get one," he smirked.

"I love you," she sighed.

"I love you too," he said, watching Emily walk out the door.

"Bye Grad-ma!" Liv called.

"Jump up," He said to her as Luke gave him a look, and she took him quite literally.

"So, everyone, me and Jess talked about you all being so upset about the cancellation of your strippers, so Jess kindly volunteered to take their place." Luke smiled.

As Jess took off his jacket and began his...show, Lorelai went and sat with Luke, "this is wrong on so many levels," she laughed as Liv attempted to wolf whistle.

"Miss Patty's enjoying herself," Luke shrugged.

"And how much alcohol did you pump into him before he agreed?" Lorelai asked him.

"Not much, really. Lightweight."

After Jess was fully dressed again, Liv excused herself to go to bed. She was more drunk than anyone.

When Jess went up after everyone left, he smiled when he saw she was sprawled out all over the bed. He lightly shook her awake.

"Come on, move over," he smiled.

She mumbled something and moved over a little, hugging him when he got into bed.
