Notes: Fem Nightmare and Half-Cat Nightmare, some mentioned death too btw.

There was a new student stirring the whole campus, they say her name is Nightmare Cesair, a skeleton who was also a half-cat. She was unlike most, covered in what seemed to be goop and is overall a contrast to her younger sibling, Dream Cesair.

A lot of the boys were enamoured with her charming looks and beautiful physique. She was quite short but a lot of the boys called her cute in that way. It was normal that the new student would get quite the attention, so everyone shrugged it off, assuming that her popularity would soon die down.

Until SD and DS were getting involved with her. And that made a lot of the girls jealous, since SD and DS were both popular and most importantly the two handsome-est boys in their school. Their charming looks and flirty demeanor quickly entranced everyone on whatever they did.

The two were quite flirty with her as well, saying sweet nicknames such as; 'My Moonlight', 'Butterfly, 'Starlight' and other names. They could also be seen venturing off into dress stores, along the campus, and a lot more places.

Though SD and DS's influence protected Nightmare, it also somewhat tainted her reputation as well. A lot of the girls didn't like her, even going as far as doing crude things to make sure she gets laughed at the rest of the day.

It was, really, just another ordinary morning as she goes to school. Her ears curled as she heard a familiar voice ring out to her, she turns to find SD just next to her desk. She sighs.

"What do you want this time, SD?" She says.

"Just here to see you, moonlight." SD hums, "Dare I say, you have a new dress today. Did you and DS buy it whilst I was absent last week?"

"No. My sister bought it for me." She says, "Again, what do you need?"

"Me and DS were planning on another shopping trip." SD smirks, "Today at 7, you wanna come, sweetheart?"

"I guess." She shrugs, her tail lazily lounging on the edge of her seat, "I wanna ask my sister to come, too."

"'Kay, I hoped that you would come alone but I suppose this is fine too." SD smiles, bringing his face and Nightmare's closer to each other, his gaze also lingers to her tail. "Anything for you, my dear."

It's already 4, and Nightmare's done with her assignments for today. She sighs, placing her things back into her bag. A hand slams onto her table and she flinches at the impact, mentally cursing to herself as the same group of girls who tormented her smirked at her.

"Hi." The girl says, "You didn't talk with SD today, did you?"

"N-no." She stuttered, "I didn't."

"Liar!" She punches Nightmare in the face, earning tormenting laugher from the girls behind her. "I hate liars, so why don't we go all out on you today, miss perfect?"

"Hey, Mag, rip her books would you? That should teach her some lessons." The person, nicknamed 'Mag' opened her bag and continuously ripped all of her books from her bag. She felt tears streaming down her face, all her hard work, quite literally gone just in her reach.

Another girl goes to kick her stomach, she felt a heavy pain resting in there and she chokes at the feeling. She felt another girl punch her face too. She laid on the ground, defeated and bruised.

They went at it all afternoon, she cried heavily as repeated blows go to her stomach. They just didn't stop with their punches, kicks, and more things.

In a flash of hesitance, Nightmare stands up and tries to push a girl away, with her vision blurred and her stomach fueling with pain, she misses her shot. The girl snarls at her and punches her right back down. She doesn't give up as she stands back up again.

The girl scoffs, "Look at this little freak, trying to get up."

"It won't matter, just punch her back down." An answer from another.

Nightmare stands up, and rushes towards the door, desperately clawing at it to open. She opens it in time for a pair of hands to miss her, she runs across the hall, nearly tripping in her steps.

"I swear to— If you don't come back here right now, Nightmare, I swear to god I'm going to kill you!"

Her heart misses a beat at those words but she kept going, running across concerned students back to her dorm.

She reaches it, after what felt like eternity, nearly tripping in her steps and almost giving up halfway. She slams the door shut and locks it. Sliding down the door, she chokes out a sob. She buried her face with her hands and contemplated with her life.

"Nightmare said she would come..." SD hums, "I wonder why she's late."

"She's never late, you know that." DS scoffs, "I think something happened to her."

"Could it be those girls again?" DS contemplates, "If so, we better hurry."

Arriving on Nightmare's dorm, they knock on the door. After a while, there was no response or any sign of life inside. SD tries again, knocking the door slightly wider. He could hear a shuffle before the door opened, revealing a disheveled Nightmare with a miserable expression on her face.

"Nightmare? What happened to you?" DS asks concerned as he eyes the multiple scratch bits and scars on her body, she notices and quickly hides her form away.

"I can't deal with you two right now..." Nightmare sniffs, "Go away!"

"No, Nightmare, we want to help you." DS opens the door slightly, "Can we come in?"

"No, I don't need any of you!" Nightmare screams, "Get out!"

SD places a hand on her, she flinches at the contact but remains still. "Moonlight, we want to help you, with whatever you're going through, I know what you may think of us, but please trust us."

After a while, Nightmare sobs, burying her face onto SD's chest. He holds her, a hand on her skull, caressing her softly.

"T-those girls, they hurt me, they tore my books apart, they— they destroyed my bag—" She sobs, "They said they would kill me if I didn't return!"

At those words, SD and DS's eyes darken.

But, they focused on the matter at hand. "Shhh... It's okay, we'll protect you, we have your back."

"We have you, its okay. Let it all out, moonlight."

They suppose that they could catch those girls another day, right after comforting Nightmare.

"SD, DS? What happened—? Why is there so much blood on you two?"

"Nothing happened, darling, continue on your story."

"O-okay." She stuttered.

~~~Around 4 years later~-~~

"How do you like our date so far, darling?" DS asks, a glint of mischief in his eyes as he says those words. Nightmare shifts, her earrings clanking as she moves.

"I like it." She laughs.

"That's good." SD says, taking a sip of his wine. He chuckles, "Careful dear, your flower crown's almost falling off."

"Oh!" She says, adjusting it a little bit. "My bad."

"It's fine, sweetheart." DS laughs.

"Enjoy the desserts, I made them myself." SD boasts proudly.

"What? We made them together, idiot." DS coughs.

She laughs at their antics, "It doesn't matter, thank you you two... you know how to make me happy."

"It's no problem dear," SD smiles.

"For that smile, anything." DS finishes.

~over a year later~

Nightmare caresses her stomach, smiling at it. "We're having children."

"Amazing..." SD whispers, "You look so gorgeous right now."

Nightmare laughs, "Come now, that's what you said when you first found out."

"I remember two months ago," DS chuckles, "The two of us were so shocked."

"Well, I know you two will be good fathers." Nightmare says, "Let's cuddle now, shall we?"

The three cuddle together on the couch, enjoying the feeling of each other's warmth.
