It was supposed to be a normal visit to the dreamswap and swapdream brothers.

But nope, nothing ever goes correctly for Nightmare. Especially if she was in a good mood. Dream had invited her to to take a quick look around and meet DS and some other sans named DS. She accepted, obviously expecting to be ignored or ostracized.

Neither happened. As she entered through those doors, she meets two sanses whom were mentioned by Dream, quite a lot. And she also met their two brothers who were quite adorable, if she may add.

SD and DS were quite tall... and big. She was expecting for them to be taller than her, but by this magnitude? She did not expect it. They also had enormous wings, they were quite intimidating in person.

They didn't see her as a threat or someone to get rid of, rather, the opposite. They just gave her an everflowing amount of gifts. From jewels, to necklaces, to expensive clothes, the amount of gifts seemed endless.

And, Nightmare wasn't going to lie but she enjoyed those gifts. She wasn't particularly fond of jewelry in general but they had picked just the right one to appease her, she found herself waiting for more gifts as the days come.

The two weren't always annoying, as much as she hated to admit. Sometimes they were sweet, caring, and thoughtful. Like the time when DS gave her a bouquet of flowers while he was wearing one of the most happiest grins she's ever seen on him, and the way he looked at her shyly as if he was afraid that she would reject him. It did wonders to her heart to see someone care about her thoughts and opinions.

Nightmare remembers when SD brought her to his flower gardens to show off his flowers, he wore one one of the gentlest looks she ever saw on him. And when she kissed his cheek, she swore she saw fireworks explode in his eyes.

Okay, maybe she liked them. Just a bit. Really.

"Nightmare~~"

A voice whispered inside her ear. She laughed at SD's drunken look but indulged.

"Yes?"

"Have I told you that you're the most beautiful girl in the world?" Nightmare always heard that off of both of their mouths, she felt her heart warm and her cheeks flush.

"That I have." SD chuckles.

"Great, I would've shouted at myself for not telling you that." Nightmare raises a brow.

"Why is that?" Nightmare asked boldly.

SD gasps, as if he just insulted one of his most precious treasures. Nightmare wouldn't put it past him to think that way but she still felt like she was unworthy.

Beside her, DS shuffles to turn to her, looking equally as confused.

"Nightmare. How could you?" DS slouches against her, earning a laugh from her.

"Really, I don't know why you think I'm pretty." DS smiled, a gentle smile that she would see him direct at her, both in his drunk and not-drunk state.

"The moon frames beautifully against your figure, as if you're a star yourself, Nightmare." DS says as if it was the most obvious thing ever.

Nightmare scoffs.

SD holds her, she felt his warmth against her own. DS hugs her from behind as she was being cuddled by SD.

"Shhh~~~" SD whispers. "Keep quiet now... it's bed time."

Nightmare rolls her eyes but snuggles in.

"You two are idiots." She says fondly.
