"Plan of attack,"

O N W A R D S;

He had the piece of wrinkly paper with her address between his fingers staring at it. He'd been doing that for awhile now— past three days since he'd been to the hospital. The decision to just drive to her house had to be thought out because once he'd made up his mind that he was going to go after her, he knew there was no turning back. This was a decision that could not be spontaneously made; Caleb needed to be sure that if he went to her that he was prepared to get hurt again.

He knew deep down, that if he chose her again, there was fifty fifty chance, she could hurt him again. That he'd get his heart ripped out again. That there was chance he'd spend more sleepless nights filled with alcohol and cigarettes. He knew that if he made the choice to go to her and she left him again, that he'd never get into another relationship. He'd never fall in love again, because it was safe to say, Georgia was who he loved. Deep, deep down he always knew that.

But if Caleb didn't go to house, and he'd thought about just ripping up the piece of paper and letting her go, but he knew that for the rest of his life, it would have eaten him alive. The question of what would have happened if he'd gone to her. Would they be together now? Would they be happy? Did he make a huge mistake? Caleb imagined that if he didn't go to her, he'd eventually be a single millionaire with no one to share it with.

He'd become his father, and even though his father was married and had a heir. He was alone. Thomas Hearst, had married his mother for sake of having a child to run his company when he retired. Caleb knew Thomas never loved his mother and the thought of being like him even in the slightest way made Caleb's anger rise. So Caleb had run through over and over the consequences of what his next decision would bring him.

He sighed finally standing up to grab his keys and sunglasses, the drive shouldn't be too long—

He parked outside, a medium sized suburban home. Painted in a cream color and decorated by red and purple flowers out front. He leaned back in the front seat of his car. This was where she lived? All this time, when he'd spent so long looking for her. This was where she'd been hiding. Her house was just thirty- five minutes away from him with traffic. He shook his head, opening the car door and getting out. He ran his hand over his blonde hair, combing it back. Fixing his blue dress shirt and patting down his pants, he strolled up to the door.

He let out a nervous breath and rang the doorbell. He heard rustling about in the house and footsteps approaching the door.
"Adrian! I swear if that's you again!" He heard her melodic voice yell, as locks began to be unlocked.
"I'm not going out later! And I'm certainly not sulking over Caleb!" The door swung open and there she stood.

At the sight of him, her mouth dropped open and his gaze ran over her body. She was in a yellow house-dress and had a white pullover around her. Her auburn colored hair was in a messy bun on the top of her head and pieces were sticking out from all over.
Her eyes seemed tired and puffy, looking as if she'd been crying. Her cheeks flushed white as her eyes gave him a once over and gulped nervously, hugging her pullover to try and cover herself.
"Caleb,..... uh.... what.....what are you doing here?" She stuttered.

Caleb leaned against the wall with a smile to his face, "Hello to you too Georgia."
He saw her visibly blushed and he smirked, as he knew she was looking at him, "Are you just going to keep me outside?" He asked smiling.
She stuttered, "I... uh... um.... you can.. come inside." She opened the door for him and he stepped into her house, taking it all in. It was every bit as he expected it to be, neat and beautifully decorated.

"I like your place." He commented.
She closed the door behind him and swiveled her heel, "What are you doing here?" She asked quickly.
"How'd you even get my address?"
He shrugged, "I came to see you,"
But Georgia only shook her head, "—and Betty gave me your address."

She pulled her pullover closer around her body, "Caleb didn't I tell to......."
Caleb cut her off, "That doesn't matter." He waved her off.
Georgia's eyes widened, "Of course it matters!" She huffed.
"You haven't answered my texts or calls. Why?" He asked, when she didn't answer he continued, "I want you to tell me why you want me to leave you alone?" He paused.

Georgia shook her head, "Why?" She scoffed, "It doesn't matter when it's the right thing to do!"
Caleb let out a fake laugh, "Right thing to do! What kind of bullshit is that!"
Georgia crossed her arms over her chest and frowned, "Yes. The right thing to do!" She yelled back.
Caleb took a step closer to her, "What right thing to do? What shit did Daniella tell you?"

"I didn't matter what she said, because I knew she was right. I'd known even from before that, that I didn't deserve you Caleb!"
"God!" She screamed and put her hands to her face.
"I'm not good enough for you. Don't you get it! You deserve so much better than the girl that hurt you so many years ago and can't even remember the reason why!"
"I wanted to let you go because if I kept seeing you even after what I did, it wouldn't fair, not to you."

"I wanted so bad to remember why!" There was anguish written all over her face as she spoke, "but I don't remember! And if anything Caleb, you deserve nothing but the truth and I couldn't even give you that!"
"It was selfish of me to just drag you back into my life after I hurt you when you'd clearly already moved on."

Moved on? If she only knew—

"I don't deserve to get you back Caleb. At least not until I remember why I left in the first place."
There was a lone tear that trailed down her cheek, "So please understand when I told you to leave, that Daniella only further enlightened me on what I knew I already had to do."
"I just wanted to do right by you." She muttered solely to herself.

Caleb was standing right in front of her as she stared at the floor. He was a whole foot taller than her, so he could see the top of head as she was staring at the floor.
"And maybe if I do ever remember, and I can give you what you deserve, a reason. Then maybe if you still want me..... we could work through it." She was still staring at the floor.
Caleb smiled as his fingertips lifted underneath her chin to make her look up at him.

"What if I want you now?" He asked.
Her cheeks turned crimson at his question and he smirked at her loss of words.
"I think, it's my decision to decide if you're good enough for me."
"But... I..." he stared at her lips as she stuttered.
"No buts Georgia. It's my decision." He leaned a little closer, his breath brushing her lips.
Her lips were slightly parted and he smirked before placing his lips on hers.

It was a feeling so euphoric that Caleb almost thought it was a dream. Their lips moving together in sync and Caleb bit her lip causing her to gasp. Her hands clasped around his neck bringing his face closer to her and his hand ran up and down her back. Caleb leaned back and began peppering kisses on her neck and she let out a small moan that made him grin as he kissed her soft skin. Giving her one last peck on the lips she buried her face into his chest and he chuckled.

He kissed the top of her head and she lifted her head off his chest and studied his face, "Do you mean it?"
He nodded, but she only looked away deep in thought, "—but I..."
He stopped her again, "If there's a problem. You talk to me okay. Don't just make decisions by yourself that affect the both of us, okay?"
She nodded, "Okay."

"Mhm." Caleb was suddenly thoughtful, "Now that that's taken care of, I'm hungry."
He heard Georgia giggle, "There's pasta in the fridge."
He grinned, "Great, I love pasta."
