"Can you believe that guy threatened me today? " Jungkook annoyingly announced. The office hours were over, he and four other men were chilling in an open space bar at the top floor of the office building, enjoying the glittering city lights with flavoursome liquors in their hands. The mid December night outside was foggy and cold, none was paying attention to it.

"It's because you forced him to. You've told every big and small company to not hire him, what could that boy do?" Namjoon's tone was sharp yet soft. He knew his position in this company well. His self consciousness made him more reliable, he never opposed the CEO, not even tried to act like his zealot. He was the main advisor of the former CEO and the current one.

"Are you telling me, what I did was wrong?" Jungkook let his gaze drift around the table, taking the time to meet every man’s eyes.

"A big yes." Seokjin spoke. A taunt wrapped in rebuke was there in his tone. "You're the bad guy here, admit it." He was sitting across Jungkook, face to face.

Jungkook defended himself, "But hyung, because of his dad, my family is scattered. He hit me in front of so many people."

"I'm with you Jungkook. What you did was absolutely right. You should always teach your enemies lessons." One of the board of directors Mr Lee Junghwa spoke up. This forty five year alcoholic man held twelve percent shares of the company. He rarely made a visit to the office, usually kept himself busy with girls and other luxuries. Jungkook wasn't close to him but as he was taking his side, Jungkook agreed to him.

"Yes, uncle Junghwa, that is what I'm saying. He's my enemy, he has to face the consequences"

"Jungkook, I can understand your frustration but aren't you going too overboard?" Seokjin said, eyes on him, also twirling the cocktail in his curvey glass. "I met him, I don't think he can do any harm to anyone."

"You met him?" Jungkook surprisingly asked, raising his eyebrows.

"Yeah, he's so cute." Seokjin puffed his cheeks cutely, remembering that boy earlier that day.

"Huh! Whatever." Jungkook rolled his eyes and gulped down some Swiss gin.

"But that bustard crossed his limits this time, he threatened our CEO. How dare he? That boy needs to get punished." The head of the supervisors, Kang Daniel, who was sitting in a corner, listening to his superiors conversation, said firmly.

"Exactly." Jungkook slammed his glass on the granite table and spoke his heart out, "Here, I'm going nuts over the the sells, our stocks aren't going up, factory workers union want to go on a strike, the battery and other parts are unavailable currently in the market, Sejin said, he's going on his honeymoon in Hawaii for ten days, I don't know what would I do in these days and here," He took a long breathe and finished his speech with a sigh. "this boy is saying he'll commit suicide if I say him no."

"What? How can he say so?" Daniel doubled his eyes and pushed his lips forward. It became his habit to agree with the CEO no matter what he said.

Junghwa straightened up on his chair, it was his time to gain the CEO's attention. "I get it. I totally get it. Do you want me to pluck him out of your way?"

"What?" Jungkook as well as Seokjin spoke out.

"Yeah, I know someone who works as smoothly as a needle. He can bury him alive without anyone's knowledge." Junghwa put his hand before his neck and made a cutting gesture.

Jungkook shook his head rapidly, "what! No uncle Junghwa, I definitely don't want that. Killing people for your own good is not a gentleman thing."

"Then what will you do with this pickle?"

"Why don't you give him a job in our factory, you don't have to go there everyday, you can keep him away like this." Seokjin advised but Daniel snapped instantly,

"I don't think this is a good idea. It means you're accepting your defeat. Your father always kept his enemies closer so I think you should hire him as your secretary. If he really wants to work for you, then he has to work under you." Daniel puffed his chest, impressed with his own suggestion.

"I'm keeping him closer in my mind, isn't it enough Daniel? 'Keep him close' my foot. I couldn't help myself thinking of him everyday. That scene kept on replying in my mind like a tv drama. He hurted my ego that day, my blood boils everytime I see him." Jungkook's scramble thoughts tumbled over one another.

"How can that cute guy make your blood boil? He seems so innocent and cuddly. I wish I could have a boyfriend like him." Seokjin put his one hand under his chin and smiled dreamily.

"Excuse me, Jungkook if you're done discussing then, I'm going home." Namjoon got up with a poker face, the hesitancy behind his words didn't go unnoticed by Seokjin but the older man remained silent. Jungkook made his assistant sit again by pulling his hand.

"Namjoon hyung please give me some advice, these three fellows are confusing me."

Namjoon sighed, looking at him, then spoke, "What can I suggest? Umm, you can hire him as your secretary for ten days. Later if he does good work then you can make him permanent."

"Permanent? No Gawd! Tolerating him, more than ten days would be a torture. Just a glimpse of him is enough to make me insane. Have you seen his dressing sense? He wears awkwardly loose clothes on that chopstick body and the colour combination, ew! who the hell on earth wears green and brown together? His glasses are from the Josean dynasty and his voice, it's so annoying, how can I forget about those thick bangs, covering his eyes-"

"Oh jungkook!" At the other end of the table, Seokjin laughed, making the younger boy's face flushed

"Why are you laughing?" Jungkook asked, biting his lower lip, he could taste some bittersweet gin there.

Seokjin took some time to sober up, then spoke with a chuckle, "You're so obsessed with him. Really, I mean me and Namjoon also met him but we can't describe him as you're doing now, detailed and specific like a fanboy. You're anticipating him, more than being annoyed."

Jungkook's cheeks turned pink, he cleared his throat audibly and said looking away, "Whatever. I'm taking Namjoon hyung's suggestion. I'm going to hire him as my secretary. For ten days."

"And after that?" Uncle Junghwa lifted his eyebrows at that.

Jungkook thought of something and smirked. "Who knows, maybe he will leave on his own."

"Do you think he'll ever do that?" Junghwa questioned.

"Of course, we can force him to." Daniel said confidently.

"No, I have a better idea." Jungkook sipped the last portion of his liquor and licked the remaining substance from his wet lips, after setting the glass down with a thump, he said looking outside, "It's really late. I should go home now. Good night everyone." He got up, stretched his stiff muscles and went to the door with steady steps.

"Wait jungkook, give me a lift, I'm too gone to drive." Junghwa trailed behind him and Daniel also followed both of them out.

Namjoon put down his empty glass on the table and looked at frowning Seokjin, "Sir, I think you should also go home now."

Seokjin wasn't liking this kind of childish behavior of Jungkook at all. He knew Jungkook wasn't a person who could harm anyone but this time he wondered what that Taehyung boy had done to make him this rude. "Namjoon come, sit with me. Here by my side." He gestured to the empty seat beside him. "Don't you think Jungkook has changed? I mean, it isn't like he's a friendly guy since his childhood but this type of anger and rage, I haven't seen before. He became a totally different person."

Namjoon nodded knowingly, sat closer to the other man. "I understand what you meant. He's not the same Jungkook we knew but he is at the same time. Aren't we all like onions? We change according to our situations, values. Jungkook still hasn't got over the fact that his precious family is no more. He became an orphan overnight, like someone has peeled his happy layer out and made him totally white outside. Give him some time to be comfortable in his loneliness; only then he can again care for others."

Seokjin was listening - thinking at the same time, how wonderful Namjoon's words were. He couldn't help himself falling more with his charming persona. He cleared the hesitation from his voice and spoke softly, "Namjoon, tell me honestly, what do you think about me?"

Namjoon, gulped. This wasn't the first time he was facing this question. Looking at the older's hopeful eyes he said, "You're a good person, this is what I think about you."

"I know I'm good. What else?" Seokjin maintained the same soft pace.

"What else should I think?"

After a pause Seokjin spoke, this time his tone was a bit harsh, "Don't act like you don't know anything. I've confessed seven times before. Again I'm asking you, Mr Kim Namjoon, will you be my boyfriend?"

"S-sir-" Namjoon stammered looking away but the other male said firmly.

"Sir again! Every time I confess my feelings to you, you shove 'sir' in between us. Can't you see me as a man?" Seokjin put his one hand over the other man's jaw and made him turn around, "Tell me, am I not good looking? Namjoon are you perhaps homophobic?"

Namjoon leaned closer, feeling the warmth of the older man on his cold cheek, "Absolutely not."

"Then what is stopping you? My dick?" Seokjin's voice was tiddly as he felt a little tipsy. Namjoon noticed that.

"Sir I think you're drunk. Let me take you home now." Namjoon held his arm, tried to pull him up with him but Seokjin forcefully released himself and spatted angrily,

"Don't touch me if you don't wanna touch me like that."

"I'm sorry." Namjoon lowered his eyes, pressing his lips together in a thin line.

"Sorry for what? rejecting me again? Fine. Maybe I don't deserve you." Seokjin released a teary sigh and rested his head on his forearms on the table. It took his tired self just a couple of seconds to fall asleep. His light snores were rhyming into Namjoon's ears.

Namjoon was sitting there without making any sound, looking at the beautiful sleeping figure with soft eyes. He wasn't sure, what he was doing was good or just good for himself. Being a little selfish wasn't a bad thing but pushing his crush away from him every single time, could never be good. He slowly moved his hand and touched his own cheek, like the way Seokjin touched him, he murmured silently, "It's the opposite. I'm the one who doesn't deserve you."

Taehyung in this part

Jungkook in this part

Taehyung rushed to the reception, "Kim Taehyung, I have an appointment with the CEO at eleven." The receptionist checked in her computer and told him to go upstairs. Taehyung glanced at his watch as the elevator doors opened… ten fifty eight. "Gosh, I'm late." He bit his lips, entered into the stainless steel box hurriedly. He was going to press the button fourteen but two other people came and joined him. One of them was a slim and beautiful lady, dressed all formally but another person grabbed his attention at the very moment he recognised him. "Excuse me. Are you Mr Min Yoongi?"

The corner of the other man's face twitched, "Yeah." He answered with a light smile then looked at the front as the elevator started moving upwards. He was wearing a black leather jacket, maroon shirt and a scarf-tie. Hair dyed in yellow blonde matching with  brown glasses.

Taehyung's mouth opened wide, he wasn't only seeing a world famous model for the first time but also this closely, in a tiny room, talking with him and sharing the same oxygen with him. "Wow! you're much more handsome in real life."

Yoongi replied with a little thanks but didn't smile like before, instead he got busy talking with his female manager. Taehyung thought that the model guy might be thinking that he was just faking like the other fanboys, so he continued explaining.

"Really sir, I mean it. You're really very handsome. If Jiminy was here, he would have bit me for sure."

Yoongi smiled this time, looking at him curiously, "What? Who's jimin, why would he bite you? Omo!"

"Because, you're sharing an elevator with me, not him." Taehyung grind, showing most of his teeth, "You are his idol, his inspiration, his first celebrity crush, the man he most talks about, the hero in his wet dreams, the-"

"Woah! hold on, I'm feeling hot for some reasons." Yoongi chuckled.

"Hehe." Taehyung lowered his head shyly. At that moment the elevator door opened and he had to go out but he turned around, instead of going out, "Sir please, can you give me an autograph? So my friend can believe that I have really met you today." Taehyung's puppy eyes made Yoongi hummed.

"Sure." Yoongi moved his hands forward to his manager for the pen. He wasn't a movie star, he rarely got to see his fans everyday. So signing autographs for them, still made him happy.

"Wait a second," Taehyung pulled out a notepad from his pocket, "here."

"Jimin right?" Yoongi glanced at him to confirm before proceeding.

"Yeah."

Yoongi wrote something in a hurry, because the elevator door was going to close and handed the notebook to Taehyung.

Taehyung stepped backwards, read out audibly, "Jimin, you nice, keep going. Min Yoongi." Taehyung's face brightened up, "Thank you, I can bet he won't stop walking after seeing this." Yoongi chuckled in response.

When the elevator door closed behind him, Taehyung could finally recall that angry bird's face and instantly ran towards his office-room, ignoring the frowns and stares of the workers on his way. His lungs craved for some oxygen as he put his hand on the door knob. He paused to take a long breath and entered with a new found confidence.

"Hi, it's kim taehyung."

"I know you're Kim Taehyung, do you have to give your introduction everytime?" Jungkook asked after checking him out from head to toe. Today his outfit was better than yesterday, white shirt with beige pants but his Josean period glasses were making him an antique piece and a sleeveless green sweater was there to complete his nerdy look. 'Green again?' Jungkook thought, 'why does this boy like green so much?'

Taehyung's confidence level decreased as he felt the other boy's stiff gaze on his body like the boy was counting his ribs. He cleared his throat and spoke, "what have you thought about my proposal?"

"What do you think?" Jungkook raised his eyebrows at him and he raised his back at Jungkook.

"Me? Ah, I think you'll accept it because you've just joined your company and don't want to engage with scandals and negative publicity." Taehyung shrugged, wasn't sure about anything related to this mostly insane boy.

"I'm accepting your proposal Mr Kim, not because of the scandals, I need a secretary urgently. So I'm giving you your dream job. As my secretary." Jungkook put his one leg on another, leaning on the chair, crossing his fingers over his mouth. He was looking so elegant in this posture that Taehyung forgot to blink for some seconds. He thought nobody can look as good as this boy wearing white suits over white turtleneck. If they met in different circumstances, Taehyung might have praised him for his beauty. Jungkook craned his neck, confused to see the other boy wasn't replying. "What? A cat got your tongue or something?"

"What?" Taehyung blinked his embarrassment out, licked his lips habitually and sat on a chair across the boss.

"What-What? Don't you want the job?"

"Not that, but why are you behaving so nice suddenly? Something's in your mind right?" Taehyung internally scolded himself for talking too much, it was not his intention to make him angry again.

Jungkook smirked, "No, you want a job, I want a secretary. I have only this post vacant, that's why I'm giving it to you." Jungkook moved forward, not removing the eye contact, "Why? Do you think you can't handle the position?

"I can do anything in my limit. I'm taking it." The determination behind Taehyung's words impressed Jungkook but anticipating an enemy: a total no no for him.

"But I have one condition." Jungkook flickered his one eyebrow, smirking.

The happy balloon inside Taehyung's chest busted immediately. "Ah, I was waiting for it. Shoot." He pouted.

"I'm giving you five lives" Jungkook raised his unfisted palm up, showing five of his fingers clearly. "If you ever come late, I'll take one." Jungkook folded his thumb."

"Woah! Man, you're acting like none of your workers ever had come late." Taehyung's mouth parted in disbelief.

"Of course they come late sometimes but as for the office rules, they get punishments too." Jungkook carried on his explanation, "Next, if you ever try to harm this company, I'll take your one life." Jungkook folded his index finger, Taehyung just blinked in response. "Third, if you ever sleep in the office hours, one of your lives will be taken." The middle one went down.

"Why would I sleep in the office?" Taehyung's pout got prominent, which made Jungkook roll his eyes.

"You can know that better. Anyway, next, if I ever heard a curse word from you, then you'll die again." He closed the fourth finger.

"No!" Taehyung spoke loudly, "I don't curse anyone. I'm a good boy." He grinned awkwardly.

"But you've called me motherf*cker before and used that F word." Jungkook narrowed his eyes and scrunched his nose. He was taught from his childhood that unnecessary bad mouthing is not a gentleman thing, along with dozens of other bad habits.

"That was because of your own behavior Mr Jeon." The ducky pout returned back on Taehyung's face. Jungkook just sighed.

"Next. If anything wrong happens here because of you, then your one life would be taken." Jungkook closed his pinky, holding his fist up he paused to see Taehyung's expression. That boy was holding the same pouty face for more than a minute, which was making Jungkook a bit uneasy, like he was scolding a student for his bad handwriting. "Hey, are you listening?"
