"There was a girl, Ye Ji. She was my high school crush. We were pretty good friends." He said.

"Yah, you said you've never dated anyone. Liar!" You punched him in the chest.

"Let me complete." He said and you nodded.

"One day, I heard her talking to her friend. She told her that she liked me. I was beyond happy. The very next day, I decided to confess. In the evening, when I entered her house, where we usually hanged out sometimes, I heard her. I saw her making out with someone. He was one of my friends. He knew I liked her. Maybe, he liked her too so he did that. I left her place immediately and a week later, I transferred my school." He told making you blink your eyes blankly.

"Hey, not all women are the same. At least, I'm not! You can trust me." You said soothing his back and caressing his cheeks.

"I'm still in the process." He replied and you nodded.

"Let's sleep." You said and lay down. He too lay down with you and back hugged you.

"Y/n?"

"Hm?"

"Are you disappointed in me?" He asked pecking your neck.

"Not anymore, since I know your story now. I'm waiting for you to fully accept me." You replied and he sighed in relief.

"You melt my heart with such words. I love you." He said scooting much more closer to you.

"Ironic! You love me yet you don't trust me." You mumbled and he heard it.

"I'm trying my best. Please believe in me." He said turning you to himself.

"You don't love me yet." You said with a weak smile.

"No Y/n. It's not like that." He said trying to defend.

"Love is based on trust and you haven't trusted me yet. So, we can say that you don't love me yet, but you like me. Unless you really mean it, don't say 'I love you'. Those words are not just words. It's alright. Take your time." You smiled even when you were having an internal mental breakdown.

"Stop it! You don't have to pretend to be okay all the time. I'm at fault." He slightly yelled.

"I'm going to sleep." Saying this, you turned away from him and closed your eyes.

NEXT DAY

"Morning everyone. I want all of you to draft new proposals. They must have new and creative ideas. They must be eye-catching as well. I want them on my table by tomorrow. If you need any help, do not hesitate and come to me." You announced one by one in every department and then headed back to Taehyung's cabin.

"Mr. Kim, I've made the announcements in all the departments. We'll get all the new drafts by tomorrow." You told him.

"Ma'am, there's a girl who wants to see Mr. Kim." the Receptionist said while panting.

"Girl? Who's she? Why are you panting? Did you run from reception to the 5th floor?" You asked handing her a glass of water.

"Actually, all the elevators were busy and I thought the girl could be someone important. I tried calling you but the phone didn't connect." She told.

"Who's she?" You asked.

"She's Jung Ye Ji." She replied.

"Strange. I don't see any appointment with her in today's schedule." You said checking the iPad again.

"Jung Ye Ji?" Taehyung asked and the receptionist nodded.

"Send her in." He said and she left.

"Do you know her?" You asked him.

"She could be the same Ye Ji, I told you about, last night. Let's see." He said making you a bit nervous.

"Taehyung!" A gentle voice echoed in the cabin making you look at the person who just entered.

"Ye Ji?" He seemed pretty shocked.

"Long time no see!" She said and walked toward him. He just smiled.

"How have you been?" She asked slightly hugging him.

"I'm good." He replied.

"What brought you here?" He asked.

"You." She replied short and he looked at her with questioning eyes.

"I just found out this company belongs to you. Do you know Jim Harrington? He's my cousin." She revealed.

"Oh yea! We're collaborating for a deal." He told.

"Won't even ask me water?" She said bitterly and he looked at you.

You poured another glass of water and gave it to her.

"Thank You." She mumbled.

"Would you mind if we talk in private?" She said looking at you.

"No. Sure." You replied and left.

Taehyung looked at your disappearing figure. The way you walked out, the way your eyes held a strange restlessness, he knew you were insecure.

Walking out, you just headed out of the company, not feeling like working anymore.

Taking a taxi, you reached home within 15 minutes.

"Y/n?" Mr. Kim called.

"What are you doing here right now?" He asked.

"Dad, I'm not feeling like working today. I'll go and rest." You replied faintly and he nodded.

You went to your room and changed. After that, you plopped on the bed and sighed.

'She's the same, Ye Ji. Why is she back?' That was all that you thought all the time.

You were just insecure because of her sudden approach to Taehyung. Deep down, you knew he won't betray you. Never!

'Looks like, I was the only one who fell in love. He doesn't even fully trust me yet. Aigo!' You said to yourself.

Your train of thoughts was disturbed by harsh knocks on your door.

"Who's it?" You asked and Yuna came in while panting.

"Hey, are you okay?" You asked making her sit on the bed.

But your eyes widened the very next moment when she showed you a positive pregnancy test kit.

"Who does this belong to?" You asked sitting beside her.

"Me. I'm pregnant Unnie." This was what you didn't want to hear.

"W-what? Whose child are you carrying?" You asked with quivering lips.

"M-my b-boyfriend's." She replied with tears making way out of her eyes.

"Did he accept the responsibility?" You asked wiping her tears.

"Unnie, he left me." She replied and burst into tears.

"Oh my god!" You closed your eyes.

"You want this baby or not?" You asked soothing her back trying to calm her down.

"No. I don't want to carry child of a traitor. I want to abort this child." She replied and you nodded.
