Things at BigHit had been hectic lately. The members were booked and busy, and their popularity was soaring. It seemed like time was flying by faster than anyone could even count. With their growing popularity, BigHit was also hiring new staff members left and right because they needed more workers. The members even got to help do interviews for some new managers the company planned to hire. They thought it was quite funny that the company even planned to hire some kind of food worker whose main job all day was to go around and deliver food orders to any of the idols that ordered food from the cafe. Jin insisted that the company really didn't need that, but the company insisted that they did.

After all the crazy schedules and promotions and interviews, the members finally had a chance to relax a bit, except for Yoongi. He had a bit of a more filled schedule still due to some production work he was doing, on top of the dance practices Hobi was still holding because Hobi always told them there were no breaks when it came to working on improvement.

While taking a water break during dance practice one day, the members were scattered around the dance studio. Jimin, Jungkook, and Taehyung were sitting together in a corner, and when Yoongi looked at them he saw a huge cloud of black smoke start shooting up from the floor behind them.

"Maknae's!" Yoongi screamed and ran to them, clutching their shirts in his hands and dragging them away from the corner. Everyone looked at Yoongi confused, and Yoongi looked at them just as confused when the smoke suddenly disappeared.

"What the hell, hyung," Jimin said.

Yoongi pointed to the corner with a shaky finger, "There was..there..was..smoke...something was on fire."

Everyone looked at the corner but clearly there was no smoke.

"Hyung, are you okay?" Hobi asked with narrowed eyes. "There is no smoke in here."

Yoongi was so sure that he had seen smoke. How could they have all missed it? And where did it go? He insisted that something in the studio must have short circuited, and he even called one of the building inspectors to come in and check things out.

"You're seeing things," Jungkook chuckled when the building inspector said that nothing was wrong with the room. Yoongi shook his head in frustration but ruled out that maybe Jungkook had been right, because he had no other explanation.

"I must be tired," Yoongi concluded.

The members asked him if he was alright and he said he was fine.

He quickly realized, however, that he was quite far from being fine.

Over the next several days he started to see a lot more than just smoke. He began to see shadow figures in various corners of rooms. He bet his life that one day he saw an actual ghost of a dead person in the bathroom at home. Not wanting to worry or scare anyone else, he kept all of these visions to himself.

It was hard to keep them to himself, especially when he started to act strange in front of the others. Like when he saw something shaped like a demon walking up to Taehyung from behind, so he ran at Taehyung screaming and pushed him to the floor in an attempt to protect him. Taehyung went to bed really angry that night, thinking Yoongi was trying to fight. Yoongi didn't know how to excuse what he did so he said he was just trying to mess around.

He was also always staring off into corners and spacing out, or acting like someone was behind him. But that's because to Yoongi, someone was behind him.

One night while the members were eating dinner at the kitchen table, Yoongi saw what he supposed was a demon standing in the corner of the kitchen behind him. It was a tall dark shadow with no face, but it had extremely long limbs. It was shaped like a person, but he knew it wasn't one. He tried to ignore it and stared down at his plate not touching his food. His stomach was too upset for him to eat.

He flinched when he felt a hand on his back.

"Hyung?" Namjoon started, "Not hungry?"

Everyone looked at Yoongi concerned.

"No. Sorry," Yoongi said with a shaky voice. He was too afraid to look up from his plate because he knew what he'd see if he did.

"May I please be excused?" Yoongi asked. Everyone nodded and watched Yoongi stare at the floor while he dragged his feet to his room.

"Something is wrong with him," Jungkook frowned. He was so worried for his hyung. It made his heart hurt seeing Yoongi act so strange and not like himself.

"Maybe it's the stress?" Jin wondered. "Hobi maybe we could cut him some slack with the dance practices. Give him bit of a break?"

Hobi, and everyone else, agreed to that. It was obvious their brother needed to relax.

It was the middle of the night when Yoongi woke up to hearing movement in his room. He sat up in bed, "Hello?" He turned his lamp on and there it was again. The same figure he'd seen in the kitchen earlier. Right there in the corner. Yoongi clenched his eyes shut. "You're not real. This isn't real," he said out loud. He peeked his eyes open and the figure was even closer. He closed his eyes again, "Go away! I said you're not real!" He felt himself start to tremble and sweat. His breathing picked up as he felt panic creeping into his chest. It's not real. It's not real.

He opened his eyes and saw the figure speeding towards him, and he started screaming and covered himself with his blanket. The first person to run to him was Jimin. Jimin barged in and ran to Yoongi, pulling the blanket off him. He was devastated to see his hyung drenched in a mess of tears.

"Hey, it's okay, it's alright. You must have just had a bad dream. You're alright," Jimin said softly as he grabbed Yoongi into a hug and rubbed his back while he cried. Yoongi didn't know what to say. He didn't want to tell Jimin what he saw. He was so scared that he was going crazy and he was terrified of what the others would think about that.

Soon everyone else gathered in behind Jimin and sat on Yoongi's bed.

"Oh, Yoongi-ah, what happened?" Jin asked with concern. Jimin answered for his hyung and said it was a bad dream. Yoongi simply nodded and agreed. They all sat with him for a while to comfort him and reassure him he was okay before heading back off to their own rooms. Hobi was the last to start trailing out when Yoongi stopped him.

"Hobi? Could you stay?" Yoongi asked.

Hobi was somewhat surprised, Yoongi wasn't one to really want sleeping company, but decided tonight was not the night to question it. His hyung was clearly freaked out. Hobi hopped into bed with Yoongi and tucked the covers over him. Yoongi cuddled up to him, "Thank you," he whispered before falling back asleep.

There was a reason Yoongi had wanted Hobi to stay. The older rapper was in a very dark place and figured because Hobi was the epitome of sunshine itself, that's really what he needed right now. Light in a dark place.

More days went by and nothing got better. Yoongi was beyond exhausted now because he was constantly waking up in the middle of the night screaming from night terrors, which always woke the others and they'd come running. Jungkook offered to sleep in Yoongi's room with him every night, but his hyung said he really didn't want to feel like such a burden who had to be taken care of all the time. He was trying really hard to deal with this on his own.

But one day he realized he couldn't do it on his own anymore. The members were at dance practice again, the first one Yoongi actually attended all week, and he saw an entire circle of demons surrounding his entire team. He started screaming at them.

"Go away!" Yoongi screamed. The others were extremely confused, they didn't know who he was screaming at. He wasn't making direct eye contact with any of them, but looking off into the distance all around the studio.

"I said go away!" Yoongi screamed again. "I know you're not real! Get away from me!"

Jimin walked over and placed his hand on Yoongi's shoulder, "Hey...hyung..?"

"I said go away! Get away from me!" Yoongi screamed and swatted Jimin's hand away, not even realizing he had done that.

The others came over and grabbed the rapper, forcing him to sit.

Yoongi didn't even know where he was anymore. The walls all turned black. The entire room turned black. His members had disappeared and all he could see were these demons surrounding him. They didn't talk, but they watched and came close.

He clutched his knees and buried his face into them as he sobbed, "What do you want from me?! What do you want?!" he screamed into his knees.

The others became extremely distraught as they tried offering reassuring words again. They realized at this point that this had to be more than just stress. They kept telling him he was alright and that he was safe, hugging him and gently rubbing his arms and back until he finally stopped crying enough to take deep breaths and was drawn out of his panic attack. Jimin and Jungkook kept planting kisses all over Yoongi's tear stained cheeks.

"I can't do this anymore," Yoongi cried. He was breaking. "Please. I-I-I can't do this anymore."

"Do what, Yoongi-ah?" Jin asked. A fear shot through him wondering if Yoongi meant he didn't want to be in the band anymore.

"They're everywhere," Yoongi cried. He looked up and was at least glad to see the room had gone back to normal and the only people surrounding him were his loving members.

"What is everywhere?" Taehyung asked confused.

Yoongi broke down again and admitted everything. He told them about the things he's been seeing. The shadows. The demons. The nightmares. The constant state of panic he was living in.

"That's why I had jumped on Taehyung that one time. I thought he was in danger. I thought I was protecting him. I'm sorry."

Taehyung sniffled back his tears. He felt absolutely terrible for being angry at Yoongi that day, but he knew he couldn't control what he hadn't known back then. His heart broke into a million pieces for Yoongi as he pulled him into a tight hug and rocked him gently.

"Why didn't you tell us about this sooner so we could help you?" Jimin asked.

"I didn't want everyone to think I was crazy." Yoongi's tears picked up again, "I don't want to be crazy."

Namjoon placed his hand on the back of Yoongi's head, "You're not crazy, hyung. We're going to figure this all out."

Namjoon didn't quite know how to help his hyung, but at least knowing what the problem was now was a good start.

"I want to go home," Yoongi frowned. Everyone looked at Hobi, and the dance leader agreed they could end early and head home.

When they got back, Yoongi trailed off to his room again. Jin and Namjoon followed behind him and sat in his room with him, comforting him until he fell into a nap. They headed back out and sat with the others in the living room.

"My poor hyung," Hobi said sadly. "I can't believe he's been dealing with these things on his own."

"You know how he is, he doesn't really like that kind of attention. He probably didn't want us to worry but he can only survive so much on his own," Jimin said. They talked about how they could help him, but were at a bit of a loss.

"I mean..if he's seeing shadows or thinks he's seeing demons or something maybe we should call one of those church people?" Jungkook suggested.

"I think you mean a priest?" Taehyung asked.

"Sure?" Jungkook replied.

Namjoon started chuckling. "He doesn't need a priest he needs medicine or therapy or something. I'm sure a doctor can help."

The members agreed to ask Yoongi about seeing a doctor or starting therapy once he woke back up.

A few hours later, Yoongi had woken up and came out of his room. Some of the members were cooking up a light snack for everyone.

"Hi hyungie!" Jungkook screamed and ran to Yoongi, hugging him. "Are you feeling a bit better?"

"Yeah, thanks." Yoongi yawned and wiped the exhaustion from his eyes, but when he put his hands down..there they were again.

Except this time it was different. It was much more terrifying. The demons that he could see had their grips right around Jungkook's throat.

"Jungkook.." Yoongi froze in fear as he started to shake. Immediate tears spilled from his eyes.

"Hyung?" Jungkook asked nervously. He could see Yoongi shaking and crying. He took a step towards him. "You see them again, don't you?"

The rest of the members stopped what they were doing to come to Yoongi's side. Yoongi seemed paralyzed.

"Jungkook..." Yoongi said again. He watched as the demons looked like they were starting to choke the youngest.

"Stop it!" Yoongi screamed. "You can't have him! Let him go! You can't have my little brother too!"

The rest of the members really had no idea what Yoongi was saying or talking about. Nobody was hurting or grabbing Jungkook. Jin grabbed Yoongi's shoulders and pushed him gently backwards to try and break him from his trance.

"Hey, it's okay. Jungkook is fine," Jin said softly.

Yoongi continued to scream in terror, "Let him go! Let him go!" He was hyperventilating and he felt his chest tightening. It was becoming too hard to breathe. He felt dizzy and his vision became blurred through his tears to the point where he couldn't make out anyone or anything anymore.

"Yoongi it's okay," Jimin said nervously. At this point they had all grabbed onto him and tried backing him up into the living room, but Yoongi ended up tripping and falling onto his back. He looked up and it looked like demons were hovering over him trying to attack him.

So he screamed.

And screamed.

And screamed.

"Yoongi stop it!" Taehyung screamed through his own tears. At this point his hyung was scaring the absolute hell out of him. He was scaring the hell out of all of them.

Jin threw himself on top of Yoongi, trying to use his own weight to anchor him and bring the rapper back to reality but it wasn't working. Yoongi wouldn't stop screaming and crying. Jin was continuously wiping his dongsaengs face so he wouldn't drown in his own tears.

"Hey, listen to me. Listen to your hyung. You're safe. There is nothing here. Nothing hurting Kook, and nothing hurting you. Okay? Listen to me, you're okay! I promise! I promise, Yoongi!" Jin screamed right into Yoongi's face as they both lay there.

That wasn't working either.

Jin screamed for someone to go get the car. "We're taking him to the hospital. Now!"

Hobi pulled the car out front and Jungkook helped Jin carry the panicking boy into the car. They raced to the hospital and Yoongi was quickly sedated. They sat around his bedside.

The sedation finally took effect and Yoongi was able to snap out of his panic attack. He felt so terrible. His mind and body were exhausted. His eyes and throat burned as if they'd been scorched by fire.

"Please kill me," Yoongi whispered as he stared blankly at the ceiling.

"Mmm...how about we don't?" Namjoon replied. The members said how they'd never do that, how they'd figure this all out. A small tear trickled down the side of Yoongi's face.

"I'm sorry," he pouted. He felt terrible for stressing everyone out and putting them through all this. He wondered if it would have been better for everyone if he had continued to keep this to himself.

"You've done nothing wrong," Jimin said as he gripped Yoongi's shoulder.

"I've gone crazy." The rapper closed his eyes and took a deep breath. What's wrong with me?

"Just for now," Jin smiled in a teasing manner.

When they had first arrived a doctor did some brain scans and blood tests on the rapper to see if he could find the issue. The doctor came in with some charts.

"Did you find anything?" Hobi asked impatiently.

"Yes," the doctor replied. The members tensed up, not sure if they were really ready to find out what was going on or not. Yoongi took another deep breath, he sure didn't feel ready.

"It is quite interesting, if you'd all take a seat." The doctor gestured for everyone to sit and they all plopped themselves on the bed next to Yoongi. The doctor put the brain images up in front of a light.

He pointed out traces of a chemical in Yoongi's brain, and he knew right away that the chemical was what was causing "the hallucinations," as the doctor called them.

"I'm crazy! I knew it," Yoongi whispered softly. His own heart broke for himself, he didn't want this to be happening. He started to drown in his own self pity until the doctor told him that he wasn't crazy.

"The chemical we found inside you is called Yenophotone," the doctor informed. Yoongi was confused, he had never heard of that before.

"Has anyone heard of that before?" the doctor asked.

Namjoon angrily shot up out of the bed.

"That's impossible!" Namjoon yelled. The members looked at their leader confused.

"Why is that impossible?" Taehyung asked.

The doctor and Namjoon both looked at eachother and then to Taehyung and in unison replied, "The brain doesn't naturally create that chemical."

Namjoon read a lot. He knew a lot. He wasn't called a genius for nothing.

"I'm not following?" Jin said.

The doctor continued, "It means the chemical we found is not naturally produced. Which means it's being put in him."

Jungkook stood up in a panic, "Someone has been drugging him?!"

Yoongi felt like he had a lot more questions than answers.

"Or he's drugging himself," the doctor mentioned.

"He doesn't do drugs!" Taehyung said defensively. Yoongi added to that, "What he said. I don't do drugs!"

The doctor told them that if Yoongi was being completely honest, then that meant someone, somehow, was getting these drugs into Yoongi. He also mentioned how it was an interesting drug because it specifically causes demonic hallucinations, and if the chemical stops, then so do the visions.

"Well what the hell," Jimin said frustrated. "Who the hell would be doing that to him? And how? We are always together, we would know by now."

None of them had any idea how this was happening, and Yoongi had a new case of anxiety thinking that somehow he was being drugged without even knowing it. He already knew it wasn't any of his members, there was no question about that.

So who was it?

There was a sense of relief at home later that night knowing that Yoongi wasn't actually going crazy. But the nerves were still high about who was doing this.

Jin decided the next day that Yoongi was to stay home, away from anyone else for a day, and only consume food and drinks from home to see what happened. Jin stayed home with him.

In the dance studio the members called for a water and food break. They had their meals delivered by the new food delivery dude that the company hired. When he entered with their meals, he asked where Yoongi was.

"I have his food," the delivery man told them.

"Yoongi didn't order food. He's not even here," Jimin informed. Jin wasn't there either, but the guy didn't have an extra meal for Jin.

"Where is he?"

"Home. He hasn't been feeling
