It's officially been my 5th week with the team, and to be quite honest, I'm sort of starting to feel at home. Obviously still doesn't feel the same as The Butterflies, but anything other than fake mean girls ready to judge you, will do just fine.

"I don't know how you can handle being in a pool with 10 hot guys Arielle, especially Levi." Trevor's eyes caught mine, as he passed me my towel.

Did he just call himself hot? That confidence though.

"I should be the one telling you that! How do you just simply coexist with these people?" I anxiously laughed, Trevor causally shrugging.

"I've just known a lot of them since middle school." Trevor whispered, making sure no one was eavesdropping on our conversation. "Trust me, still to this day I can't use the boys locker room. I use the secret bathroom near the hallway."

I quickly widened my mouth. "You're telling me that now? I don't care what you say I'm using that bathroom." He smiled. "It just feels so wrong changing while hearing guys talk about stuff I can't relate too."

"Literally why I don't use the boy's locker room." Trevor replied.

I noticed Steven looking at me in the corner of my eyes. His face magnified of what seemed like hate towards me. What the hell is his problem?

I entered the locker room looking down at my towel, I suddenly felt myself bump into someone's body, eyeing it down, I can see light tan abs quickly taking all of my attention.

"I'm so sorry about that, you alright?" A pair of muscular arms latched unto me. As I looked up to see who it was, the soft deep voice spoke again. "I swear I didn't see you there." I quickly looked up to see it was Diego.

"It's fine. I'm okay." I replied dryly, walking off to where I was going.

I have to get used to awkward situations like those too, ugh.

As I walked inside the locker room, I just saw the norm, which was some of the boys with a towel wrapped around their waist, exposing just the top part of their glorious body. Some were getting ready to go in the shower, and some were already done, simply just putting on their clothes.

At first when I saw them in the locker room, I honestly felt like everything around me felt fake. I mean how do these guys looks like greek gods? Am I the only one with the skin that deteriorates when chlorine touches it? I mean honestly, most of these guys probably don't even know what a skin care routine is and for some unfair reason, they all look like living breathing photoshops! I mean do pores even exist for them?

I felt all their eyes on me which never fails to make me feel uncomfortable. I just ignored it, proceeding to walk swiftly away. I really need my own privacy to be completely honest, I don't find it reasonable for a girl to even be near a boy's locker room. And here I am, preparing to take a shower in it..

I decided to use the shower in the very end of the room, since I've noticed no one ever uses it.

As I undressed myself and turned the shower on to let the warm water soak onto my body, I began to hear what sounded like small masculine laughs emit just behind the curtains that separated me and those boys.

After I showered, Levi who was literally just shirtless, was standing outside of the shower almost giving me a heart attack.

My mouth was subtly widened at him as our eyes quickly met. I knew my eyes looked like they were struck in fear as I tried to process what the hell this angel looking human wanted to do with me.

Levi looked away from me as he quietly chuckled, then looking back towards me to break the awkward silence. "Hey um, Dalton is hosting a party near the beach tonight. I was wondering if you wanted to come." He then threw me a small smile that exposed his cute dimples and his gleaming white teeth, weirdly heating up my surroundings.

I've been in this team for 5 weeks without talking to anyone but Trevor, I'm planning to keep it that way. "U-um I'm busy, sorry." I looked down, preparing to walk pass him.

"I don't believe you." He cooed softly, all of a sudden leaning in closer to me, which made me back up to the wall. He then placed both of his hands on the side of my shoulders, caging me inside it.

"Um, excuse me." I couldn't help but wince at him. "What are you doing?" I awkwardly murmured, trying to push his strong arms away. I felt my cheeks rapidly burn up from how close our bodies were and I didn't know what to do.

Who is this guy I barely knew, holding me hostage against the wall just because I refused to attend their dumb fuck-boy filled party that just so happens to be near the beach.

Levi charmingly clenched his defined jaw, playfully rolling his dreamy eyes to side. "We're in the same team and we don't know anything about each other. Don't you think it's a bit odd?"

"Uh no." I bluntly let out.

Levi sighed as he backed away. "I'm not taking no for an answer." He teased. "I really want you to be there! I want to know more about you. Don't you wanna be friends? Come on.." His eyes didn't bother breaking contact as he continued to talk me into saying yes.

A moment of silence all of a sudden surrounded the both of us as we looked straight at each other for what felt like hours.

Since he probably won't leave me alone, I might as well just say the answer that will shut him up.

"I'll think about it ok?" I started to feel heavily uncomfortable so I looked away from him.

"Is there a problem here?" Suddenly Logan's voice came out of nowhere, catching both of our attention.

I stayed quiet as Levi began to reply. "Yes Logan, there's a huge problem. Miss Tesfaye here doesn't wanna go to the beach party tonight."

Logan looked at me amused as he began to speak. "Arielle you should totally go. It's gonna be really fun, I promise. It'll just be a way for us to not be strangers to each other. It's kinda weird to have someone in the team I know nothing about."

Levi slowly turned towards me as he grinned. "That's what I said."

I slowly shrugged, finally giving in. "Well, can I bring a friend?" I awkwardly asked, knowing Vanessa would go crazy if I didn't invite her.

Logan nodded at me as Levi cheerfully replied. "Of course! The more the merrier. Come by at 6:00." Levi's English accent sounded so smooth and inviting, making it so hard to say no.

"Where is the party?" I asked.

Logan and Levi slowly gave each other weird looks as Logan proceeded to walk away, Levi's cheeks reddening towards me. "Give me your number and I'll send it to you." Levi's charming voice became enticingly deeper as I felt my heart begin to melt.

This sneaky bastard.

I couldn't help but laugh as he tried to hide his happiness in getting my number. What's the big deal? It's just a freaking number. "Now get out, I have to change." I playfully demanded him away, making him chuckle to himself.

"See you at the party little mermaid." Levi let out as he walked himself out the locker room.

Ugh I hate attractive people.

No I don't.

Vanessa flipped once I told her about the news and she immediately agreed. Once she finished getting ready early, she decided to come over and help me look presentable for the party. Hah, very funny. Like that's possible.

"Just a little bit there, and there!" Vanessa gently patted my face with the soft brush one last time, quickly turning the chair around towards the mirror to let me see what ferocious creature she decided to turn me into.

"I look like a different person." I spoke softly as I laughed at the mirror. "Vanessa, I look different!" I tilted my face to the side.

"That's the point." She rolled her eyes at me. "Come on, we have to find something for you to wear!" She tugged on my arm, gesturing me to my closet.

For something to wear, she told me to wear shorts and a crop top. I swear on my life if I jumped, this crop top can easily free my chest to the world.

I don't even know why I kept it. She just gave it to me as a present and I didn't wanna be mean and just throw it out.

"Vanessa.. I don't know, I'm not used to showing this much skin." I looked at myself on the mirror, eyeing the denim short shorts that complimented my bottom half.

"I literally look like one of those desperate Tumblr wannabe girls on YouTube that makes nasty DIY's and clothing hauls that are completely expensive, just to make other kids who watch them, feel bad about themselves." I whined, side-eying Vanessa in distaste.

"Arielle, you're in a goddamn swimming team for heavens sake, what do you mean you're not used to showing skin? And also, who cares if those YouTubers make other kids feel bad, they look good anyway." Vanessa laughed hysterically, causing me to laugh with her.

"Whatever, I guess I'll wear it, promise we'll stick together in that party." I sighed, exiting the room with Vanessa.

"Yes I promise! Wait who's picking us up?" Vanessa asked, looking at her pink colored nails.

"Trevor, he's super nice." I opened the front door, sending my mom a text of where we're going.

"Wow look at you having rides to parties already." Vanessa quickly raised her eyebrows at me. "Is he a potential love interest?"

"Um, if I was a guy." I couldn't help but widen my eyes at Vanessa's shocked facial expression. "Fuck, word vomit. I wasn't supposed to even say that to you." I closed my eyes in disappointment in myself as I couldn't even handle holding a secret if my whole family's life depended on it.

"It's okay." Vanessa anxiously laughed. "It's not like I care that much to tell anyone. I'll probably even forget that you said that." She shrugged.

I know I promised Trevor not to tell anyone and I want to telepathically apologize to him. Although, I know Vanessa is not the one to care that much over anything and isn't the type to spread drama everywhere.

I trust her.

"Anyways that's great." She replied, fixing her gorgeously straightened hair back. "That's really great because now you have like one less guy to worry about then. Also you have someone to keep you company."

Just before I could've replied, what sounded like a car, quickly interrupted me.

BEEP BEEP

"Get in losers! We're going shopping!" Trevor exclaimed from what looked like a gorgeous sports car, immediately making our jaws drop.

"Was that a mean girls reference?" I laughed, approaching his gorgeously expensive looking car.

"Duh! Hurry get in, Dalton wants us in time." Trevor demanded, opening the doors for us. "It's gonna be so fun I promise."

I sluggishly got inside the car as I breathed. "I hope so. I literally haven't been to a party since my 15th birthday party, and literally no one showed up." What I said caused an awkward silence. "I'm joking." No I'm not.

Vanessa, who was completely and utterly shocked of the car, just stayed quiet.

"Trevor, if you don't mind me asking how are these parties mostly like? I won't get forcefully touched against my will or anything like that right?" I asked, hoping for it to be just a chill hang out.

"Oh trust me Arielle when Dalton hosts parties, it gets pretty insane." He grinned, looking at me from the rear-view mirror.

Yikes...
