I was sitting on Jaxon's legs sideways, and his laptop was on his lap. We were sitting on his big comfy bed. Don't ask why but I felt comfortable. Plus, he didn't complain or push me away!

"So what should I write next? It's gonna be the scene when she sees him after ten years," Jaxon asked, and I put my finger on my chin and thought for the perfect and most romantic dialogue... We had been like that for three hours. The boys went out, and it was 9:56 PM. I did not think they would come back that night, but Owen...

He constantly shows up when I'm doing something weird. Last time, I was the mummy! Ha, serves him right.

"Take your time. I need to rest my fingers from writing. It can be a living hell to think about the perfect scenario," he said and put his laptop down, away from his lap. He placed his hands behind his head, rested his head on his pillow, then stared at me. I did what I had to do, stare back at him.

We stayed like this for a long time, making me shift into my place. Come on, stop staring. I will not quit ... I'm not a quitter.

"How are you feeling?" he asked out of the blue but was still staring. Damn it.

"About what?" I asked back, then blinked. The water in my eyes could not handle it any longer.

He sighed and rubbed his hair. "About being kidnapped, being here, away from your family." He explained.

Oh, so he cares about how I feel... I like him now.

No, Ariel snaps out of it.

I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know. I mean, it's not bad here, you treat me nicely, and I'm having fun till now, yet I miss my family so much. But what can I do?" I replied and put my hands on his sole to rest it, only to hear him laugh.

What just happened?

I tried to move my hand but stopped. "Stop that," he laughed again.

"Stop what?" I asked, completely clueless.

He shifted in his place. "Remove your hand from my sole. I'm ticklish." Jaxon kept on laughing like there was no tomorrow.

So he's ticklish. Yeah, he just said that, you idiot. I know.

I smirked, grabbed both his legs, and started tickling them with all my might. He started laughing louder like a greek maniac. "No! No st-top it, I c-can't take it, No!" when he started kicking my hands with his legs, I let go of his legs, laughing my heart out.

"That was awesome" I wiped my tears and laid down beside him. My head was on his soft pillow.

"Don't do that ever again!" he warned, lowering his body and laying beside me. We stared at the ceiling for about ten minutes in a comfortable silence that didn't need to be broken.

Jaxon sighed, a deep sigh that made me look at him. "I'm sorry for kidnapping you. We had too." He turned his head and looked straight into my eyes. His beautiful eyes are breathtaking. They would be the perfect distraction if you were doing a test or balancing on a thin rope. You'd die... Literally!

I sighed in return. "I understand, but what did the boss do to you to make him command you?" I asked in a low voice that almost came out as a whisper.

"He literally saved our lives," he answered with the same quiet tone.

I arched my eyebrows. "How come?"

He went silent for a minute, then cleared his throat. "Well, a year ago, we were on a road trip. Aaron, Owen, Noah, and I were in one car. The trip lasted for two weeks. We had so much fun, we partied every night and didn't sleep. To sum it up, we lived like there was no tomorrow, but there was always a wrong side to the fun. When we were on our way back home... We crashed into a bus... because of me, " he explained, then stopped talking. I gasped, not believing what I was hearing.

He looked sad and had regret in his eyes. He looked too hurt. "Why? What happened?" I asked, wanting him to continue.

"I fell asleep, and because of my irresponsible behavior, we crashed. I was the driver, Ariel! We almost died because of me, but I guess miracles could happen. At that time, three men pulled us from the car and carried us to their vehicles. We were in a miserable state and injured, so I fell unconscious with the rest of the boys.

After four days, we woke up to see ourselves lying on what seemed like hospital beds, yet we weren't in a hospital. We were in a big room. We were so confused until a man came and told us that the boss saved us and that we owe him one until he asks for our help..."

Of course. I'm starting to connect the dots.

"So one year later, now. The boss asked us to kidnap you, and we did because we owed him, and he threatened to kill us, but we have no idea why we kidnapped you. I'm very sorry, Ariel," he apologized, put his hand on my cheek, and rubbed his thump on my cheekbone. I did not move it away, I just leaned closer, and he also leaned closer until we were an inch apart.

His breath smells like Oreos. Why?

"I understand," I whispered sincerely while looking into his green eyes. He looked soft and relieved. When he felt more comfortable, and our lips were about to touch...

"I'm back!" Owen shouted, and we stood up quickly and sat away from each other. Surprised. The door flew open by a drunken, wobbly clumsy, and mood-killer Owen. He had to come right now.

"Heyyyy guys, how was your day?! Mine's awesome. I will sleep now, bye!!" He yelled, then closed the door behind him. I looked at Jaxon, and he looked at me, and we laughed.

"What was that?" I asked.

"No idea," he replied then we fell into a deep silence. Until I broke it with a jump that made Jaxon jump.

"Yes, I know what's the perfect dialogue for your story!" I grabbed his laptop and started typing. Jaxon sat next to me on his king-sized bed and read what I was typing.

"That's pretty good," he thought, then continued reading until I finished typing.

"So, what do you think?" I asked, hoping for the best.

"This is amazing. Yes, I'll use it." Jaxon nodded with a smile and pressed save, then put the laptop down.

"So what do we do now? I'm not sleepy," I asked, playing with my hair. What is wrong with me? I look like a girl around Jaxon... Oh, wait, I am a girl!

"Do you want to swim?" He suggested.

I looked at him with raised eyebrows. "In winter? And there is a pool here? Really?" I asked, amused.

"Yes, it's on the bottom floor, and don't worry, it's like a spa because the water is hot," he cleared, got up, and headed to his wardrobe.

"Okay, but I don't have anything to wear for swimming," I pointed out, then stood beside him.

"You could use my shorts and this top if you want to." He handed me the clothes, and I nodded with a smile.

"Yes, thank you, can I use your bathroom?" I asked.

Where did all this politeness come from? "Go ahead, I'll just change here," He said, and I entered the bathroom.

After five minutes, I got out of the bathroom to see an alluring scene. Jaxon was just in black shorts. He was topless. Those six-packs, God, he will be the death of me! I want to touch them.

"Like what you see?" He smirked, and I smirked back.

"Yes, actually," I replied with total confidence and laughed. He did not expect my answer because his eyes were wide for a second.

"Glad you like it." He grinned when he scanned me from head to toe.

"Like what you see?" I mimicked and put my hands on my hips.

"Yes, very! My shirt looks good on you," Jaxon replied with a smirk. I felt a blush make its way to my cheeks. His shorts reached my above knees and his shirt below them, so the shorts weren't much of a help.

Then I remembered the most important thing ever. "Hey, did you eat any of my Oreos?" I raised my eyebrows and crossed my arms.

"Umm, well..." he stuttered. He did eat them.

As I was about to pounce on him to kill him, he stepped away from me with a nervous smile. "Let's go." He grabbed two towels, and we got out of the room to the Pool.

I will let it slide. This time.
