Liam paces up and down the conference room stressed out, before turning around and glaring at the two of us.

"You two signed a contract," is all he says.

"I remember," Chris says sternly glaring back at him.

Liam lets out a fake laugh and crosses his hands against his chest. "Do you remember what it said?"

"Not really I'm a busy guy."

Did he just, damn he has guts.

Talking back to the boss is never a good idea.

I'm tempted to slap Chris at the back of his head and yell shut up, because we both may as well lose our jobs.

"Lola, do you remember?"

Do I say yes, or no?

I don't want to take anyone's side or make anyone think I like one over the other.

Even though I can surely say I like Chris way more than I like Liam.

"I do remember faintly, I've been reading the script for the past few weeks so I kinda forgot what it exactly said," I explain.

Liam let's out a sigh and walks to the head of the long rectangular table, and plops down in it, he scratches the beard that cleanly tames his jaw. "Than tell me what you faintly remember than."

I lied.

I remember everything the contract said.

But somewhere in my idiotic brain is telling me to frick it and not listen.

For me to take the risk and see what happens, but at the end of the day. This is my job, and this is how I put food in my belly and take hot showers.

We both need to calm down, and just wait out and see how this plays.

"Not getting involved with any coworker while shooting on set," I mumble looking down ashamed.

But do you know what I'm questioning myself about?

Why the heck do I feel ashamed if I didn't do anything in the first place.

It's not like Chris and I are in a relationship with one another.

If it wasn't for me being in a relationship with his best friend then he probably would have made more advances.

Shoot...Dante.

What kind of person am I? I totally forgot about Dante for the whole day.

I forgot about my boyfriend, while I was making out with his best friend...

I know I might sound crazy, but maybe I shouldn't be with him...

It's not fair for him to be with me when I have feelings for someone else.

The last thing that I want to do is break his heart.

If I end it now, maybe it won't hurt him as much?

I mean we've only been dating for two weeks, it's not that long for him to get attached.

Shoot, I don't know what the heck I'm doing.

But truly deep down in my heart I know what I have to do, I need to break it off.

People like me don't last in relationships, it never works out.

Take me for example I'm falling for my coworker, and I tried to avoid my feelings by dating his best friend.

Call me a jerk all you want I know I deserve it.

I'll even call myself one,

jerk, jerk, jerky jerk.

"Be honest with me guys, do you have feelings for each other?" Liam asks gently

"Yes, I have feelings for Lola," Chris says looking annoyed by the conversion were having.

"You?" Liam says turning his head in my direction waiting for my answer.

"Yes, I do."

"Aren't you dating that guy you were caught kissing in a car on the side of a hallway?" he questions confused.

I groan and bury my face in my hands, "I'm a jerk," I mumble into my hands.

After I confessed my feelings and called myself out, awkward silence lapped through the room until Liam breaks it. "You're not a jerk."

Chris scoffs and frowns, "Yes she is."

I gape at him and turn my head to see our boss's expression, but I find him already looking sternly at Liam. "Keep talking about her like that, and you'll never be able to catch the beautiful girl that's in our presents right now Chris." He says pointing an accusing finger at him, "I don't blame Lola, she is scared and confused, and I know you are too. People deal with situations in different ways. Lola thought it would be in both of your best interests in being romantically involved with someone else, and you didn't. You two need to respect each other's opinions for this to work."

"Are you saying that if we want to date, we can?" Chris asks hopefully.

"Nope," Liam replies, popping the "P".

"By all means date after the movie," He says, "Actually please date after the movie I ship you guys, the babies you two would make," he trails off with a gleeful expression on his face.

"I am not talking about this with you," I whisper up harshly to him.

"Don't think I forgot about you," he says looking at me like how a dad does when they find out their daughter has their first boyfriend. "You need to stop leading on this poor other guy, I can't imagine he's already head over heels for you, I know if I wasn't married and old I would take my chance with you-"

Liam is cut off when Chris slams his hand down on the wooden table in front of us and sneers down at Liam, "Don't you dare talk about her like she's some object."

Damn, down boy

No need to freak out there's enough of me to go around.

Ha sike, nope I'm joking.

"Boy, calm the hell, down, all I'm saying is that she needs to end it with him if her heart's with you." He stands from his seat and smooths down his dress shirt, "I hope I made it clear to the both of you, that there's no relationship between the two of you when we are still shooting. Both of you don't want to know what happens when you get on my wrong side, have a wonderful day, and make good choices," he huffs before leaving the room.

I glance down at my manicured nails, as I can feel Chris's heated gaze on me.

Were alone in a room, that never ends well.

I'm the one that decides to break the uncomfortable silence that's consuming the air around us by saying, "I'm going to break it off with Dante, he doesn't deserve to be in all this crap that we're in."

"You're right you do need to break it off, I don't feel like backstabbing my best friend either."

"You realize you already have by pleading for me to be with you instead of him right?" I state with a raised brow.

"I saw you first," is all Chris says sternly, leaving no room for me to argue.

If that doesn't make me sound like I'm an object being fought over, then I don't know what is.

My phone dings alerting me I've received a text message.

I bend down to reach my bag from where it's placed on the floor.

I finally find my phone in my messy bag, after searching for a minute.

I laugh when I find a rubber chicken that makes those ugly sounds that make it seem like it's dying.

Don't judge me, Mark, throw it at me this morning when I left for work.

"Speaking of the devil, Dante is outside waiting to take me home," I say while reading the text on my home screen.

I forgave Dante the night we had our fight, he kept calling and texting apologizing for the way he acted.

I forgave him because I could tell that he was censure.

Getting up and gathering my belongings, I take the courage and look up at Chris.

"I'll break it off as soon as I can, I just need to find the right moment," I stress and walk towards the door.

Before I can walk fully out the door, Chris replies, "Hurry up because I get impatient quickly."

I don't bother replying to this idiot and just walk out of the room.

I'll tell him tonight, I'll tell Dante tonight, is what I chant through my head exiting the building towards where his car waits for me.
