"I've been having nightmares, Grey."

"About me?"

"Yes."

"I'm sorry."

"I thought it would be easier to think about you by now."

"And it's not?"

"No, Greyson. It's not."

"Why?"

"Because you are with me all the time. You always have been. You're in every smile I see. You're in every child's laugh. You're in every blue sky. I thought it would be easier to think about you now, but it's not."

"Will it ever be easier to remember a loved one lost?"

"That's what I was going to ask you."

"But I remember you, too, Fluffy."

"You remember me? How?"

"I have nothing else to do but think. Remember. Thoughts and more thoughts."

"Does it...hurt?"

"No. I'm not alone because I have you."

"But I don't have you, Greyson. You're not here."

"But you're here."

"I don't understand."

"You're hanging on, Fluffy, so now you have two choices. You either start living...or you don't."

"And if I start living, do I leave you here?"

"You do."

"But you'll be alone, Grey."

"Yes."

"I can't do that to you."

"This isn't about me, Fluffy. It's about you. What are you going to do for you?"
