"Some people are willing to betray years of friendship just for a little bit of the spot light"
-Lauren Conrad

·°·      "I already regret this."the long legged teen claps his bony hand to his forehead.

Fresh gale blows all over the Unknown while heavy rain pours. The triad group of youth hike up a soggy hill. Mud sticks to their feet, Finn having the worst as mud bleeds into his skin. The juvenile boy with golden eyes hops on every puddle yelling a strong vocabulary of curse words.

"F*** you!"the demon points at the reflection of himself in the water.

"Can you be quiet?"Wirt sneers.

"Yes, just not rightnow."Bill shrugs.

"B-B-Bill please."Finn rolls his eyes at the overly exited boy.

The sky is still dark, but a little bit of blue leaks in. It's been three days since we met, and I still haven't killed them. I can't, the lamp won't let me. Wirt shakes his head with a pissed off look at Bill. He keeps his cool.

"So where we headed?"

"To an old friends house, they'll let us in."

"What d-do you me-mean they'll let u-us in?"Finn looks up at Wirt.

"No questions, I just know that they will. "Wirt continues.

"Sounds a little skeptic kid."Bill crosses his arms and seductively smiles.

"Kid?" But I'm in highschool. Wirt shakes his head. At least I was.

"Don't mock me you cookoo bird!"Bill waves a finger in front of the tall gnome. Wirt stares at it before frowning,"I can chop it off you know."

"I don't care."

"Of couse you don't."

The trio stand close to eachother just in case they get a surprise attack from the 'Time Lord; Time Baby". In conclusion, Bill feels safe. He gained two new pals to play with, now he wasn't so alone.

Finn feels the most warm he's ever felt in his life. For a bit, he didn't rely on that dog to save him or make friends. It was all him, it's all Finn who now made allies not the dog. Him. And Finn felt proud for that, but if he wants to keep his new pals close he has to restrain himself.

As for Wirt, the situation couldn't get any worse. A talkbox, and a human popscicle next to him. He tries to ignore the two as much as he can by thinking of their origins, but that just adds more questions!

"You seem to be in great thought Branches, can you tell me why? Or is it the person we are going to pay a little visit the one crossing your mind?"Bill nudges Wirt awake.

Just tell him so he can be quiet. "It's a she, and we are going to ask nicely for shelter there. Her name is Lorna."
Wirt explains,"She had an evil spirit inside of her, I got rid of it for her. Now that I remember, she never payed me back."

"S-So we're just g-gonna stroll d-down there and ta-take her h-house?"Finn asks.

Wirt says nothing,"Oh goody~"Bill claps with a wide smile.

With each step the demon, prince, and the tall gnome take; a weird sense of protection took over them. Their spines began to sting, but they brush it off to not seem weak to eachother. The hike up hills, and through trees began to feel like a maze. Fog starts to catch up around them. The grass starts to grow.

Bill for the longest time is quiet, he kept getting distracted from the rustle of leaves, and the whispers in the woods. Oh Pinetree~Ah where are you you stupid kid? His head cracked at the mention of a nearby noise. He froze, and the other two boys did so. A smile crept into his face.

A small pair mice rush from the bush to hide in the dead fallen tree. The rotten smell of pumpkin made Finn sweat. Bill stomps his foot in anger, these woods were getting the best of his mortal body. Annoying. His smile fades to a line. Wirt simply turns away as Finn scrunches his nose in disgust at the pile of fruit on the ground. Apples, oranges, pumpkin, and lettuce all rot facade in a pile next to the tree. They continue the route to their guest's house.

This 'Lorna' must be special to Wirt if he trust her to share a house full of boys...I don't have a problem. I lived with Beemo for years in the tree house with the stupid dog--and that living game thingy is genderless! Finn looks at the sky in displeasure. His glowy blue eyes reflect the thick leaves, and long thin branches. He begins to wonder if the Unknown ever possessed any light.

Mud covers the unseen path before them with twigs, and rocks. Finn is sure to stick close to Wirt so he won't get lost, but looks down so he won't ger stabbed by the rocks. Bill happily trails behind the ice prince making faces at him, and sticking his tounge out. Wirt ignores the two.
      We are close.

Wirt stops as he gazes over his surroundings. High grass covered him up to his knees while as Bill with Finn it covers their waist. A broken dark brown house lays in ruins in the middle of the small patch of dead grass. "Hansel and Gretel are proud." Bill comments.

"W-What is that?"Finn asks the demon.

"I knew I was smarter than you scramble beans~"Bill slaps his forehead and shakes his head.

"Let's go."Wirt orders.

"Lovely."Bill blows a kiss at the house.

The Lantern Barrer walks to the small cottage, ignoring the grass lifting his hood behind. Smoke pumps out of the lovely old home, and small lights waver hidden in the yellow stained curtains. A soft voice can be heard inside.

    Wirt suddenly collected a bizzare feeling of a wiggling worm in his stomach. He frowns a bit as it tickles his insides. The fish was poisoned probably. But the tall teen kept doubting the thought as he approached the house with the two buffoons behind him. His legs felt jelly, his coat felt heavy, and a dry aroma took over him. A sudden thought lingered into his brain;

Butterflies in my stomach?

Bill meanwhile started to snatch flowers and weeds from the ground. He hums a tune as he does so with a wide grin. On his tippy toes, he spins around like a ballerina.

Finn raises a brow at the crazy maniac next to him. Bill sniffs the flowers with a powerful gasp of air and exhales it with relief. He punches the flowers up to Finn's nose. "They smell great right?"

"Get-Get those off m-me!"Finn shoves the weeds away.

"Breathe the earth air you peasant! I know you like it!"Bill giggles.

"I-I lived i-in OOO you i-"

"Again with ooohh?! What even is that?!"Bill rolls his eyes and throws the weeds up in the air. "Does it snow there?"

A plant lightly falls on Finn's head as the young male smirks at the ice prince. Finn pinches the weed off his dirty blomd hair, and speed walks past Wirtto the door. Bill shakes his head and chuckles.

Wirt raises a brow at the ice prince in a deafening manner before he cools down knowing the youngster isn't a threat. Finn scurries to the door, and knocks on it gently. The humming from inside stops.

Floor boards creak and the inside of the cottage darkens. The flamed inside go out and all you can hear is the tapping of hard wood. The tapping stops close to the door.

"We know you're there."Wirt confessed.

A small hitched breathing could be heard from inside. The quivering voice of a woman speaks,"Go away."

"Let us in Lorna."Wirt orders as Bill kicks the door lightly.

"Wirt?"

"Bill break the door."Wirt turns away with a sigh as he rubs his temples with his thumb. Why can't you just open it? It makes this harder you idiot.

The demon grins, and follows his guide's orders. His eyes glimmer as he knocks lightly on the door,"Hey little pig? Can you open the door for the big bad wolf? I'm quite hungry~"

He bangs his fist on the wood hard,"I know what you're gonna say lil pig~Oh no its the big bad wolf! Oh so help my sore eyes little pig!"Bill punches the door with all his might.

* * *

A rosy pale cheeked girl stands in front of the door quivering in fear. Her desperate black eyes glisten in the low light outside. She holds a long shotgun in her sweaty palms. Her mouth drops as she remembers the name of the boy outside.

Do it for auntie...

A tear rolls down her cheek as she hears another voice outside taunting. The high-pitched voice haunts her dreams every night. It's so alike. It's so unique.

Suddenly, a bloody hands punches a hole in the door. Splinters collect on it's knuckles with crimson red. The hand retreats back outside. The girl starts to shake uncontrollably.

Auntie...

Unaware the girl pulls the trigger releasing a loud bang! She jumps back before digging her heel into the floor, ready for another shot. Everything seems peaceful.

"So you don't wanna open the door?"a giant golden cat eye pops in the hole observing with hunger at the girl.

The girl clenches her teeth and pulls the trigger. Aiming right at the hole.
