He looked at Roman, not paying anyone else any attention. Roman who was standing some feet away from us, matched his intense gaze and said,

"I think we found her, Lorenzo." He said, sounding happy and looking like he wanted to bounce like a small child.

Lorenzo's gaze flicked around the room before landing on us, on me to be exact. His deep blue eyes, studying me as a sharp pain was felt in my head. It hurt so much that my vision became dizzy. I clenched my eyes shut and hissed lowly.

I felt a presence near me. I guess someone crouched before me.

"Hey!! What happened?" I heard Roman's voice which didn't help as the image of his face formed in my head and the pain intensified a little.

"Ssh!!" I said through my teeth as I clutched my head trying to reduce some pain by putting pressure on it.

I need to distract myself.

Daniel.

He was the first person to come into my mind as I remembered his face. His hazel eyes.

Taking deep breaths, I opened my eyes, feeling all eyes on me. I kept looking at the carpet when Roman asked.

"Are you okay?" I nodded, refusing to look at any of them.

"I need to leave." I muttered trying to stand up but I was pulled back down by who I guess was Mason.

"You need to listen to us, first. Either way, you're not leaving." Mason said. My hands clenched into fists.

"Its really her." Lorenzo said softly.

"Of course, its her. You can take a look at that if you like." I heard Roman say, before he shuffled to pick up the box, I think. From the corner of my eye, I caught a glimpse of the shiny metal as Lorenzo looked at the locket.

I gathered up courage and looked up.

Its just pain. I'll get used to it.

I looked up at Roman because it didn't hurt much on looking at him. He looked at Lorenzo, who was rummaging through the box. I saw him get a blue shirt out which would fit me perfectly now, as an oversized shirt, of course.

What is this big shirt doing in the clothes of a baby?

"Told you they took my shirt." He said looking at it sadly and clutching it in his hand tightly as he looked at me again.

I looked at his shoulders not wanting to make eye contact with him. It pained the most when I did.

He kept looking at me.

"Why aren't you looking at me?" He asked, sounding hurt behind his cold voice. I shrugged.

"So, Is anyone going to explain what is going on?" I asked, fighting the urge to grit my teeth.

They were just talking among themselves. From all I gathered, I'm her. And that her is their sister. I'm their sister.

I don't doubt it. We look alike now that I took notice of something other than their eyes.

But I'm not gonna be like, oh I have brothers, Wow! And then be shocked and happily go with them.

Not in a million years.

"Why didn't you tell them about your identity when you first met them?" Jace gritted, seeming angry as he spoke.

Someone please ask him to shut up.

"I don't know you. Now let me go. Or it is not gonna end up well for you." I said.

"What are you gonna do?" Mason chuckled.

"As you are aware, I know an assassin, who happened to be my colleague." I smirked. "He could kill you and no one will notice."

"Hmm. And that is supposed to scare us?" Lorenzo asked, amusement lacing his voice.

"Back to the topic, you don't remember  us?" Roman asked. I just shook my head in response.

"I've never met you before."

"You are our sister." Roman said. "And we're taking you home, where you actually belong."

"I gathered that. But I'm not going anywhere with you." I said looking at my fingers in my lap.

"Then just think we're kidnapping you but you're coming with us." Mason said and I saw Lorenzo and Roman already walking out.

I started to get up but my hands and legs were grabbed and I was raised into the air.

Mason and Jace had grabbed my ankles and wrists and raised me up so I was in a laying position above their heads.

What weirdos!!!!

"You know you just need to put a coffin around me, the position is just perfect for that." I gritted and struggled to get away.

What they freaking did next?

They started doing the coffin dance.

"Hey!! Your brothers are already ready to pick up the coffin of your sister, who you just found." I yelled as Lorenzo turned around, glaring at the brothers, who stopped long before he even turned around. A shiver ran through my spine.

Honestly, he scares me a bit.

I am tired of looking at just anything and avoiding looking at their faces. When you try to avoid something, it starts getting difficult for you to do so.

"Why aren't you looking at us?" Mason repeated the question.

"Hurts my head." I mumbled.

"What?" Roman asked from the passenger seat. I could feel Lorenzo glance at me through the rear view mirror, from the driver's seat.

"Hurts my head. I don't know, it wasn't that painful when I looked into this thing's eyes." I said pointing to Jace who had successfully secured his position in my 'the people I hate for no reason' list. I knew I'd not like him when I first saw him enter the living room.

To summarise everything, Aunt Bianca was glad I was getting away from those toxic people and going to live with my family. She talked to the brothers and thought they were nice.

But as I said before, I don't trust people and I don't think I ever will.

People have always betrayed me, some left and walked out of my life, some stayed behind to see me suffer.
I'm never gonna trust anyone or let anyone in, that's the promise I made to myself a long time ago. I don't want friends, no one is that trustworthy.

Jace huffed and just looked out, obviously offended by my last statement.

"Your head hurts, when you look into our eyes?" Roman asked glancing at Lorenzo, then at me again.

"Yeah. It didn't hurt as much when I met you all for the first time." I said, emotionlessly. I don't want to engage in a conversation. I'm just hoping they stay away from me, when they know it hurts me.

"Looking into his eyes, hurt the most." I said nodding towards the driver seat.

Lorenzo let out a sigh, which I would guess was of relief. He probably thought I hate him because I was not even glancing at him.

I don't hate them. I just don't like them. They are taking me with them by force. I don't want that. I just want to leave and go live somewhere far away.

I could see Lorenzo's reflection in the windshield. I tried focussing on his eyes, trying to get used to the pain. Sharp pain shot through my head and I clenched my eyes shut.

Its just some pain. I'll get used to it. Its not as much as getting punched in the guts.

I opened my eyes as the pain subsided and looked into the rearview mirror into his eyes. I kept staring as the pain lessened a little. Enough to not make me clench my eyes.

I was still staring when suddenly he looked at me through the mirror, then immediately diverted his gaze to the road.

"Are you trying to scare him?" Mason asked, with amusement in his voice.

I snapped my gaze to him.

"Because if you are, don't try. You're gonna fail. He can make Jace tremble just by a look. And that's saying something." Mason said as Jace looked at him furiously while Mason smirked.

"Shut it, Mason." Jace gritted.

"I'm not trying to scare him." I deadpanned. "When I looked into your eyes the second time, it didn't hurt as much. I think its like my brain is getting used to the pain or my brain is actually like saving the image of your face?"

I didn't know how to explain it.

"Are you the CEO of saying smart things or applying logic?" Jace said, mocking me.

"Its the experience that is speaking, little one." I mocked him, showing no expression.

"Do you want to eat something? Have you eaten today?" Roman asked, turning his head slightly to look at me.

"No I'm full." I lied. I haven't eaten since days. I don't even remember when I ate the last time. All I've consumed is some water and the small amount of food, which I threw up later.

The car came to a stop. I looked out to see huge gates before me. The gates opened and Lorenzo pulled into a driveway.

My jaw dropped at the huge mansion before me. Golden lights outside the mansion made it look like it was actually made out of gold. It was ten times bigger than our house.

Before I could get out of my shock, Mason and Jace were out of the car and Roman was standing in the open car door, extending his hand towards me.

"Come on." He said, smiling warmly. I looked at his hand and then his face.

I'd hate to wipe that smile off his face but I don't want to touch him or be friendly with him either.

His smile vanished and a sad frown covered his face when I just stared at him.

He retreated his hand a little but I was quick to reach out and put my hand on his. His eyes brightened up as he smiled wider. I just focussed on getting out. Didn't want to raise hope in him.

Stepping out of the car, I found all of them standing there, staring at my hand which was clutched in Roman's big hand tightly. My hands felt like those of a baby, compared to Roman's hand.

The excitement and happiness radiating from Roman was so strong, I could feel it, even though he tried his hardest to hide it.

"Your stuff will be here soon. Your maid packed it and had it sent here." Lorenzo said, after he was done staring at our hands.

"Let's go." Roman said. We started walking to the main door of the gigantic mansion. His hand was so warm, it gave a soothing feeling to my cold one.

It took everything in me not to gasp on seeing the interior. It was so beautiful.

"We will have dinner after about an hour. Why don't you go settle in your room, till then?" Lorenzo asked.

I nodded as Roman, who still held my hand led me up the staircase.

We stopped in front of a door. He opened it and led me inside. It was dark and I liked it that way. Roman moved and flipped the lights on.

"I'll call you when dinners ready." He said, reluctantly pulling his hand out of mine. I watched him go and shut the door behind him. I finally looked around the room.

THIRD POV.

The brothers watched as Roman led her to her room. It was her old room. The mansion was fully renovated once after she left. Every smallest detail is changed now, except her room. They kept the room as it was.

Roman entered the room looking a little sad.

"Couldn't even get a hug." He muttered, sitting down and rubbing his hand on his forehead. Lorenzo could tell his eyes were glossy.

"She let you hold her hand, that's a great start." Mason said.

"She'll open up eventually." Lorenzo said, coming to sit beside Roman and rubbing his back.

"Besides you're the sweet one, She'll definitely open up to you sooner than us." Mason said.

Jace just stayed silent. You could tell he was going through the same situation as he looked at his  brother.

Jace was seven when she left. Of course, he missed her. He just doesn't show it. His priorities are different. He doesn't want to be sad around her and say he missed her all these years, while he could just be annoying her and being friendly with her at the same time.

Roman just nodded rubbing his hands on his face.

They were all sitting silent, until they heard shrieks coming from upstairs.
