"Y/n-chan! Over here!"

Her e/c eyes spotted the loveable red head near the fence that bordered the field where students rode their horses.

He waved vigorously which made her laugh, "Lovely meeting spot you've chosen, Tendou-san."

It was a Friday evening; the sun was slowly setting so hues of pink and yellow beautiful blended together.

Satori had not too long finished volleyball practice and Y/n had her club activity that she had just wrapped up.

"I like watching the horses sometimes." He admitted, placing his forearms on top the fence and looked at the group of students who gallivanted on their horses.

"Have you ever thought about doing it?" Y/n asked. Tendou pried his eyes off the scenery and to the h/c haired girl.

"Horse riding? Nah, that's not for me." His gaze went staright back to the horses, this was the first time Y/n had seen Tendou so relaxed and peaceful.

"Then what is for you?" She asked the male, slightly tilting her head.

"I have no idea, Y/n-chan." Tendou giggled as she took his arms off the fence and took his bag off the ground, putting it on his back.

"If you'll allow me to be honest, I've always pictured you in Paris doing." she trailed off then laughed slightly, "I don't know what, but I just see you doing something there."

Satori looked at the girl with sparkles in his eyes, "I love that! You can come with, Y/n-chan! I heard Parisian food is to die for and I don't mind that."

As Tendou talked about all the things they could do in Paris, Y/n's mind drifted. Of course, she loved the idea, but it was impossible for her.

And she frowned upon that realization.

"Hey. Are you Tendou-san's girlfriend?"

The pair turned from the fence to look behind them. There stood a couple of Satori's friends who seemingly were all also in the volleyball club.

Amongst them was Ushijima.

"Idiot! Tomu!" yelled Semi at Goshiki, "You don't just ask that."

Y/n laughed and waved them off, "That's alright but no, I'm not."

Tendou wrapped an arm around the female's shoulder, "Y/n-chan is a really really good friend of mine."

"Yes, the name's L/n Y/n. Nice to meet you all." Y/n introduced politely to the group.

A black-haired male with questionable bangs pushed himself to the front and outstretched his hand for a handshake, "I'm Goshiki Tsutomu! Nice to meet you, Y/n-senpai."

The girl smiled in response and took his hand to shake it. Goshiki retracted his hand and looked at it in awe, "A pretty girl held my hand." he mumbled.

A guy with ash blond hair and dark tips slapped the back of Goshiki's head, causing his to turn his head to the side and rub the spot.

"I'm Semi Eita, it's a pleasure."

Reon and Shirabu introduced themselves after and they all got acquainted quite well, Y/n just fell right in.

Though, Wakatoshi didn't say anything. He didn't want to, and Y/n was very much pleased with that.

"You played volleyball, L/n-san? That's really cool." said Reon, "Why'd you stop?"

The female stiffened by the sudden question, and she rubbed the back of her neck, "Wasn't feeling it anymore." she smiled, "I played wing spiker, and I was damn good at it too."

This caused the group to laugh. Tendou, however, slap a hand over chest and gasped.

"And you didn't tell me, Y/n-chan! This is betrayal if I've ever seen it." Tendou cried.

"I'm sorry, Tendou-san." She laughed, patting his back which made him cheer up in an instant.

"You're just like our ace, huh?" Shirabu said, "Maybe you can give him some advice."

"That is rather unnecessary."

All eyes turned to the olive haired male and just like that, Y/n's anger gage was slowly entering the red area.

"Why is that wall-san?" Y/n asked.

"No advice you give will me better myself as I have already passed that stage."

Y/n scoffed which was followed by a dangerous chuckle, "What? You're trying to say that you're better than me?" Y/n snapped, "Your skill and strength come from the body you were born with so don't act like you're better; you're just lucky."

Wakatoshi's expression didn't falter though it did gather tension. If he wasn't showing anger, he was feeling it.

"The words of a transfer student means nothing to me, L/n."

Semi and Reon both wanted to intervene and stop the two as their words were pretty harsh, but the girl spoke before they could.

She stepped closer to the male and folded her arms, a slight smirk etched onto her face, "You know I'm a transfer student? Have you been doing your homework on me, wall-san?"

"I know who your grandfather is." he said. Y/n brows knitted in confusion as she wondered how on earth he knew. This definitely piqued the interest of the onlookers, "That is why it was so easy for you to transfer to Shiratorizawa."

This caused the h/c haired girl to lose it. She slipped her bag off her back, and it landed on the concrete with a loud thud. Y/n grabbed the neck of Wakatoshi's shirt and wrung it slightly, bringing his face closer to hers.

"Let me tell you something, Ushijima. My grandfather being your coach has nothing to do with the fact I'm standing here right now." She seethe.

The female could hear the whispers of the boys; probably talking about the fact she had revealed about herself but didn't bother as she continued

"I took the entrance exams like everyone else. You think you know everything and you're the best but you're sadly mistaken. That doesn't exist and the sooner you get out of your bubble, the better for everyone."

The h/c haired girl let go of his shirt roughly, pushing him back slightly in the process and picked up her bag.

As she slung the strap over her shoulder, she smiled at the rest of the boys, "Bye bye." she waved.

Tendou said his goodbyes also and walked with the angered female to walk her home.

The place was silent for a while, no one didn't know what to say after that tense moment.

Reon stepped up and placed a hand on the bigger male's shoulder, "That wasn't your place to say about her grandfather, Wakatoshi."

In response, he just turned his head slightly to the side.

"Coach has a granddaughter?" questioned Goshiki.

"How did you know about that Ushijima-san?" asked Shirabu as he turned to the male in question.

Wakatoshi didn't answer him, "We should start walking."

"You should apologize to her, Wakatoshi-kun." said Semi as he brushed back his hair from his face that had been placed there by the wind.

For once, Ushijima had remorse for what he had insinuated and what couldn't leave his mind was when she said his name.

Not the fact that Y/n had said it but the fact that she had said it with such hatred in her voice.
