"Why did you suddenly open the door earlier by the way? "

Cloud ask as he take a sip from his milk. We're currently drinking some warm milk before going to bed when he raised that question out of the blue. A chuckle escaped my lips as I pulled the letter he wrote earlier.  I unfolded it and showed the letter to him.

"I miss your voice. "

Cloud's ears turned red as he looked away which made me laugh even more.  He looks so embarrassed with what he wrote in here but it's not about what he wrote it's about where the words were written. 

"Cloud, you know that you should write on the spaces not on the line right? "

He wrote the words on the lines of the paper!  Hahaha!  He tried grabbing the paper from me but I was quick enough to hide it behind my back.

"Hahaha!  Come on tell me why do you write on the lines? "

His face turned red as he pinch the bridge of his nose with a deep sigh.

"Promise me you won't laugh at me."

He said with a serious tone which is bad because it makes me wanna laugh even more.  I tried my very best to have a serious look on my face as I raised my right hand with a nod.  He looked away from me and he run his fingers through his hair before talking. 

"It's uh--it's my first time writing real words on a paper. "

It took me five seconds to process his statement and I tried so hard not to laugh but I ended up laughing while clapping my hands like a retarded seal.

"Hahahaha! It's--hahaha!  It's your first time?!  Unbelievable!  Even babies know how to write! Hahaha! "

He jokingly push my shoulder before running his fingers through his hair. 

"Not in this time, ok?  Yes we still use papers but everything in it is printed all we have to do is to sign on it."

Seriously?  The smile faded from my lips as I looked at him apologetically.  Cloud chuckled as he lean his back on the couch with his nose crinkled.

"Why are you giving me that kind of look? "

I shake my head as I pulled my feet up and hug my knees with my head leaning on it.

"It's just so sad. Letters are one of the most beautiful means of communication. "

Cloud let out a short laugh before licking his lower lip.

"But don't you think the means of communication today is so much better?  You talk to that person through a 6D call like he or she is really present. "

I shake my head with my lips pursed totally disagreeing to his statement.

"Letters are way more better. I can't even put into words how beautiful they are.  Casper used to write me a lot of letters before. "

A smile form in my lips as my mind unwire some memories of Casper's letters but that smile faded when I look at Cloud.  He was so quiet while looking at me making me realize it's not a good idea to talk about Casper in front of him.  I was like creating a comparison between the two,  I know that they really looked alike but they're not the same person.  I cleared my throat as I wave my hands in front of the T. V switching it on just to break the awkward silence. 

"Count down for the time travel starts as excited citizens wait for their flight... "

Ugh such a bad timing. This,  too is definitely not a good topic to talk about today.  I let out an awkward smile as I swipe my hand in the air changing the channel.

"Breaking news,  good evening mainland.  Mhyco Dee,  nation's phenomenal singer and dancer was rushed at Bourgleigh hospital.  Mhyco was found unconscious inside his apartment this evening 11:13 and was immediately rushed at the hospital for immediate treatment. Cause is still unknown, stay tune for more information we'll be back after a short break. "

My stomach suddenly churned as my grip on Cloud's arm tightened.  What happened to Mhyco?!

"Let's go. "

Cloud said as he help me stand up, I gathered all my strength to stand and to calm myself.  We rushed towards Cloud's car and he wasted no time. On our way to the hospital I called Frost and good thing is he immediately picked up.

"Drug overdose, he drank all his sleeping pills. He tried to commit suicide.  Good thing he threw up some of the pills. "

Frost said with his voice shaking behind the line. I covered my mouth as my eyes began to sting. 

"We're---- we're on our way to the hospital. "

I said with my voice cracking up because of my tears.

"On my way there too."

I end the call and put my phone down.  Why would Mhyco do that? I swear I won't forgive myself if something bad will happen to him.  How did I not notice that he's suffering inside before?

"He's not happy."
I bit my lower lip as Cloud's voice echoed in my head. I remember that day, the day when we were in the class B society, the day Mhyco sang infront of the crowd,  the day Cloud told me that --- Mhyco was not happy. 

I look at Cloud who looks so serious with his knuckles almost white because of his tight grip on the steering wheel. 

"Cloud,  the day Mhyco was singing in the class B society how did you know he was not happy?"

He look at me for a moment before fixing his gaze back on the road.

"Here I am standing in the crowd
Lost and wandering like a child
A flower planted on pot
Beautiful but soon will be pluck--- that's just a part of Mhyco's song."

I close my eyes and take a deep breath as my grip on the seat belt tightened.  How could I hear but still be deaf?  How could I not see that he was hiding his pain behind a smile?

"Sometimes we just have to listen to what they're not saying.  The heart screams when words could no longer express the pain. "

Cloud said before stopping in front of the hospital where Mhyco is.

"Let's go?"

He said as he open the car door for me.  I take a deep breath before nodding my head at him. I'm so scared to see Mhyco's pain right now,  I'm so scared  that I might not help him in healing that pain.  Cloud filled the spaces between my fingers with a comforting smile,  his hand was warm enough for me to feel safe. I responded with a smile and nod my head at him.  He gave my hand a squeeze before we finally entered the hospital. The entrance was filled with reporters and we needed to look for another entrance since Cloud is also in the hot seat these days because of his video.  Good thing is Cloud has an access to the hospital's VIP entrance. 

We were keeping a fast pace in walking, almost like running but we made sure that we won't make noise on the hospital hallway.

It's easy to know where Mhyco's room is.  We saw Frost standing with his back slouched infront of Mhyco's room. I gave him a tap on his shoulder and saw how red his eyes are because of crying.  He immediately hug me and cried like a child.  I can feel my heart pounding in my chest and my eyes stinging with tears as I gently rub his back for comfort.

"Shh... Everything is going to be fine. "

I inhaled deeply just to stop my tears from falling. 

"I was so scared.  I lost everyone in a blink of an eye.  Mhyco is the only family I have and I don't even know what to do without  him."

I can see how Frost treasured Mhyco despite of his cold treatment towards him.  It took him minutes to calm down.  We're now waiting for the doctor's signal since we're not yet allowed to enter the room.  Mhyco took all his sleeping pills, good thing is he vomited some of it.

The doctor went out of Mhyco's room and told us that we can go see him. Frost went ahead inside and I was just staring at the door like my heart wasn't ready to see Mhyco in this kind of situation. Cloud hold my hand again and gave it a light squeeze telling me everything is going to be fine.  I take a deep breath before deciding to take a step forward. 

Mhyco was asleep with an oxygen mask attached to him. He was so pale and sleeping soundly to the point that it scares me. He looks so at peace like he doesn't even want to wake up.  The doctor said he's already conscious but he's not responding.

"Mhyco you little..."

Frost said stopping for a while to catch his breath.  He slowly sat down on a chair just beside Mhyco's bed and grip his hand tight. 

"Why?"

Frost said almost like a whisper as tears freely fall from his eyes.  Mhyco's eyes are still close,  he's not moving a single muscle in his body which made me so worried. 

"He'll wake up soon. "

Cloud said as he gently pat my head.  I gave him a nod before joining him in the couch with my eyes still focused on Mhyco. 

"He looked so happy back then. "

I said almost like a whisper.

"That's the sad thing about a smile.  Sometimes it is a mask that conceals all the pain. "

Cloud said without taking his eyes off Mhyco. 

The following day we stayed with Mhyco.  Cloud cancelled all his appointments which made me soft inside,  I mean I never thought he got this side.  He has always been cold and harsh towards Mhyco but the truth is he cares.  Mhyco is awake,  his eyes are open but he's not even making an eye contact with us.  No reaction at all,  he got his eyes fixed on the ceiling with a stone cold expression.

"Come on Mhyco,  talk to me man. "

Frost whispered as he gently punch Mhyco's shoulder.  Still we received no response from him.  Mhyco's manager went inside the room with a puppy on his arm. He put the puppy down and it came running towards me then immediately licking my shoe.

"I had to bring him here. No one's home to watch over him. "

My heart is melting as I picked it up giving it a warm hug.

"We can take good care of him for the meantime."

I look at Cloud to seek for his approval and he just nod his head at me. 

We decided to go home for a moment to change our clothes. I put the puppy down and gave it some warm milk.  I look around the house and saw Cloud sitting on the couch with his eyes closed.  I know something is bothering him. 

"Cloud?  What's wrong? "

He look at me for a moment before rubbing his hand on his face with a sigh. 

"I'm afraid Mhyco will still find one way or another to kill or hurt himself after this."

I was quiet for a moment because I know he's got a point right there.  I was surprise when he got up from his
seat grabbing his car keys on the table. 

"Where are you going?"

He take a deep and shaky breath before looking at me.

"I'm going to Isola to get Mhyco's mother.  He needs her right now. "
