The bags of chips and candy were soon opened and spread out on the table. The Pepsi was half gone, too. Stan found a twister game wedged under the stop sign in the back of the hideout. "I'll spin the board!" Eddie said, taking it from Stan. "You're not playing?" Richie asked and Eddie shook his head. "I'm not letting you guys touch me."

Beverly chuckled and flattened out the twister mat. "Is everyone but Eddie playing?" She asked. A collection of "yeah"'s rang out and she nodded. "Everyone get on a side," Mike said and the kids shuffled to their spots. Eddie stayed in the hammock.

"Right hand red," Eddie called out. Everyone slapped their right hand on the nearest red dot. "Uhh," he said as the spinner spun around the board. "Left foot yellow."

"Move it, Stanley," Richie said, gently slapping his friends foot away. "I was here first, Richie." Beverly turned around the best she could and shot a look at the two as Ben chuckled. Eddie rolled his eyes and spun the spinner. "Left hand green!"

"Seriously?" Richie asked, looking over at Eddie. He shrugged and showed Richie the bored. "Not my fault," said Eddie. Richie sighed and stretched across the mat over to the green circles. "That's physically impossible," Stan said, he tried stretching to the green circles but could only nearly touch the edge of one. Beverly giggled as she watched Bill stumble and almost fall over. Ben wavered a bit, trying to find a comfortable position as Eddie spun the spinner.

"Uhh, it's in the middle, hold on." He spun it again. "Right hand blue." A collection of slaps and relieved sighs sounded through the small hideout. "You okay there, Rich?" Beverly asked. Richie craned his neck to look at her. "Yeah. Why?" She shrugged and a small smile overtook her face. "No reason, it looks like you're going to fall over, that's all." She suddenly kicks out her foot, hitting Richie in the side. A small scream comes out of his mouth as he topples over, falling into Stan. "You fucking cheater!"

Beverly falls to the ground, her knees moving the mat as she laughs. Richie casts a glare over to her as the others start to fall to the ground, too. "Sorry! Sorry, I'm sorry," Beverly blurts out, recovering from the laughter. Richie huffs out and stands, rubbing an elbow. "You should be sorry," Stan says, getting up. "I just had Trashmouth fall on me."

Beverly grinned before standing up. "I won't do it again," she promised. Richie deadpanned before walking towards the snacks. "I don't believe you." He pushed a few chips into his mouth and watched as she fixed the mat. "Are you guys still playing?" Eddie asked. "I will if someone won't cheat." Beverly snorted. "I will too if someone won't fall on me again," Stan said as he lined up on the edge of the mat. Richie swallowed and motioned to Beverly. "Not my fault!"

Mike kicked off his shoes and stood near the mat, too. "We're ready, Eddie... Oh hey, that rhymed!" The group chuckled but Eddie, who made a face at Mike. "I don't need more nicknames." Richie smiled. "Whatever you say, Eddie Spaghetti," he said. Eddie sighed and sunk deeper into the hammock. "Left hand yellow," he muttered.

Beverly bought over a pack of candles for Ben's birthday. She stuck one into a cookie and pulled out her lighter, flicking it on. The yellow flame appeared with a quiet woosh. She lit the candle, blew out the lighter and pocketed it. "Ben, over here," she said with a motion of her hand. His eyes flickered over to her before walking over. He spotted the cookie and a smile over came his face.

Everyone crowded over to the table, Bev holding the cookie. "3.. 2.. 1.. Happy Birthday to you." Ben looked up at Beverly. Her singing quieted as she tried to balance the cookie, making sure the candle didn't fall. "Happy Birthday to Ben!" Her eyes flicked up to Ben, a smile over coming her face. The flame danced in the breeze, casting a soft glow on Ben's face. "Happy Birthday to you!"

"Make a wish," Beverly said. Ben breathed in and softly blew out, the flame fought against the wind but inevitably disappeared, turning into smoke which curled in the air. "What'd you wish for?" Ben grabbed the cookie from her and pulled out the candle. "I can't say, or it won't come true. Right?" Beverly hummed and nodded. "True."

Bill looked back and forth between the two. His eyes narrowed as Beverly smiled when Ben bit into the cookie, some of it crumbling and falling to the floor. The group dispersed, some grabbing cookies for themselves.
