IRINA'S POV

5 YEARS LATER

"Irina..."

I ignore the voice that has been calling for me. I just want to sleep... just a little bit longer than usual. I have to... I need it.

"Irina... please wake up. I just have the need to drink some dairy product."

There she goes again. "Althea, honey, its 12 am. It's not good to drink something like that this late at night." I felt she laid down on the bed again. "Okay. I'm sorry for being so CHILDISH and ANNOYING." Hearing those words made my eyes widen and scared at the same time. I got up to a sitting position and sigh. "I'll be back." I can imagine how wide her smile are.

I stretched my body and yawned as loud as I can since Hynera decided to have her sleep over in Varvara's house. "Dairy huh..." I opened the fridge and grabbed every single dairy product I can find inside. Thank God I stacked up the food in this fridge earlier this day. I went up to our room again and placed the tray on top of Althea's bouncing baby bump belly.

5 years of hard and trivial life as a married couple, God finally grant us a baby that currently growing healthily inside my wife's belly. Since she's on her last trimester, she's been craving a lot of weird stuff such as tar tar sauce and sugary food. "I don't which you prefer so I brought all of it. This bundle of joy passed it's actual due date and I am so tired of being fat." I smiled and wrapped my arms around her. "You're not fat. Never. You're carrying our baby inside of you. That's not fat, that's our pride and joy."

Althea suddenly went to sit on my thigh and removed the dress she wore in front of me. "It's amazing how science could made us have a baby of our own that's not from some pesky man." She said as she moved around, grinding her lower body on top of me. "Yes. It's amazing how smart Faina can be." I chuckled and leaned forward so that it's easier for her to removed my shirt.

"Some music should bring us to the mood." She whispered as she's reaching for the remote. Her belly were pressing on mine, her lactating breast made my chest wet. I followed the nurse in to the labor Ward and just pray everything goes well. "Ahh.. I do heard a familiar scream. It's you." Angelica made herself known.

Since the last 'war' against Audra and Vörös, Angelica tried as hard as she could to achieve her own dream, to be a doctor. The other girls were pretty successful themselves but our main job are still as an assassin. I sighed heavily and face her.

"Just do whatever you do and save both my wife and kid." I said as I watched the nurses placed Althea on the bed. "Don't worry Irina. I'll do my best to bring little Irina to the world." She chuckled and went to Althea side.

"Oh God please save my wife and kids." I said mentally.

"Congratulation, you have a bouncy, healthy little girl." My hands were trembling when Angelica handed a fragile looking baby in my arms. I was so use to seen death and this is such a new thing for me. I looked up to my tired wife with my teary eyes. I went to her side and let her see the baby's feature.

"Oh man... she got your nose, mouth and eyes.  I'm the one carrying her over 9 months." I chuckled as she wiped the tears on my cheek. "She has your blonde hair." My voice cracked. "Irina why are you crying?" Althea looked at me with worried eyes. "It's .... I'm .... so happy ...." she chuckled. "Thank you.."

She smiled. "Thank you..." I leaned in to kissed her sweaty forehead. "Alright then. It's time to clean the baby." Angelica announced as she instructed a nurse to take the baby from me. "It was a successful birth you guys. I never dream of seeing Irina as a parent." My old friend chuckled.

"Shut up." I sat on the bed next to Althea. "Oh I called the others." I looked up to Angelica. "Everyone?" She nodded. "They're on their way to see little Irina and Althea." I felt Althea hands squeezing mine. "Our baby... we did it Irina..." I leaned in to kissed my wife on the lips and just rested my forehead on hers when we pulled away.

"I love you... so much.." my voice cracked again. "Let's bring you to your Ward shall we." Angelica smiled and walked out of the labor room. Once Althea was settling in her Ward room, Angelica came back in with our baby in her arms. "It's time for her first meal. Are you okay with that Althea?" Althea nodded and offered her arms. For someone in labor for hours, she has a lot more energy to spare.

When the baby latched on her nipple, she flinched at first but she seems to get a hand of it after a while. "Oh wow..." Varvara walked in together with Athena. Seconds later Evara and Zoya came in as well. "Such cute little creature." Varvara placed a gift basket on the table and went to witness the baby first meal.

I turned to Zoya with a smile on my face. Since she lost her left leg, it didn't stop her from continuing her daily life in Volin. By now she's the head of special task force that excell in deathly poison element. Even though she used an artificial leg, she still have to walk around using the walking stick.

"Congratulation." Zoya smiled. "And ...." she handed me an envelope. "What's this?" Zoya looked at Evara before smile widely. "We're getting married. We have decided after seeing Varvara and Athena exchanged their vows months ago."

"What took you guys so long huh?" Varvara joked. I was curious about something. "Wait, where's Hynera?" I asked. "She's outside. She doesn't want to go in. You know why." Athena explained. "I'll handle this." I assured my wife and excuse myself. I smiled as I walked out of the room when I noticed Hynera looking down on her shoes. "Hynera?" I called her out.

She took a little peek before looking down again. "What's wrong princess?" I asked as i sat next to her. "You and mama don't need me anymore. You have a new kid. I'm going to move out and live with aunty Natalya." I chuckled mentally and lifted her chin up.

If she really decided to live with her, Natalya going turned out little innocent daughter as a hostess. There no way I'm letting that happening! "Hey, who said we don't need you? Mama and I will always need you. You're our little princess." I wiped her tears from her cheek.

She shake her head.

"Remember what I told you years ago, that I will always take care of you even when your old as long as I live?" She nodded. "I am not a person who will break my promise. I always keep them. Now, come on. Don't you want to see your little sister? Beside, you're a big sister now." I stood up and offered my hand. She was reluctant to grabbed my hands but I assured her with my smile.

She smile back and took my hand. I lead her inside and she just stood there, watching Althea sitting on the bed. "Hynera..." Althea reached out for Hynera's hands. "Meet your little sister." Hynera took Althea's hands and looked down on the baby. "Big sister..." she whispered under her breath.

"Oh yea, what's her name?" Athena suddenly asked us. I looked at Althea's face and smiled. "We ...." I didn't get to finish my sentences when Althea cut me off. "We choose a perfect name for her. Serafima Volin." My eyes widen. It's so different than the ones we choose together. "Wait ... what?" Varvara chuckled.

"Seraphim...... Serafima.... nice name. Will she be scary as Irina?" They all laughed. "A perfect name for a strong child. Right, Irina?" Althea asked me. I slowly nodded. "Mama she's sleeping while eating." Hynera giggled and poke Serafima's cheek. "Look so much like mommy. That's how she sleep too." Althea turned away and tried as hard as she could to hold her laughter.

"Hey ... that's mean but I am honour." I chuckled. I stared at Varvara and Athena as they laughed as well. "I'm sorry for not being able to come to work boss." Varvara laughed even harder. "It's cool sis. You can go back anytime. Your workplace just a mile away." She smiled. 4 years after the war, mom decided that it's time for her to retired from this line of work and so does Noah.

Varvara was chosen to be the next chairperson alongside her wife, Athena. As for me, beside being a full time assassin, I am also a lecturer in Volin Women's Academy. As for the result of the war, the academy's old building were totally destroyed. It was such a great cost but with the help of our investors, we manage to built a new campus within a year of restoration.

This time, Volin built with their own kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school. Some graduating student decided to stay within the academy's walls and started their life with their love one as well, that include Althea and I. It's like a little community within the academy. "Hey boss." Faina walked in holding a bouquet.

Althea smiled when Faina referred her as her boss. "Congratulation.." she smiled. "Hey boss, I know it's not a good time but we did it. The experiment was a success. We're developing a new system for Volin super computer." Althea looked so happy upon hearing that good news. All Faina does is work, work and more work. Come to think of it, Faina is the only one that still single among the student- teacher group.

"Oh! I brought company." She went to opened the door and Althea gasped when Adara jogged to her side. "Saw them coming this way and we walk together." Conrad waved his hand to me. "Hey Conrad." I noticed Adara leaned in to the baby. "She look awfully like Irina." I was dumbfounded. Awfully? Seriously? She obviously will never forgive me for my action huh.

"Look, I'm sorry. I really am. I didn't know Conrad was your husband." Adara rolled her eyes to me. "It's cool man. That's 5 years ago my injury are fully heal by now." I sighed. Adara probably never be in my good side.

"I'm so tired!!!" I slumped on the bed lazily and just sigh. "Get yourself clean before going to bed. I'm going to tuck them to sleep." Althea announced when she carried Serafima to her crib. "I think Hynera is old enough to go to bed herself." I said out loud when I noticed she's going out of our room.

"I just don't trust her yet." She said before closing the door. I got up from the bed and went to Serafima's crib. She's sleeping soundly. Who can blame her, Evara and Zoya's wedding were fun. I lost count of how many vodka shots I've been doing. Once I'm inside the bathroom, I took off every single clothes I'm wearing and placed them into the laundry bin.

I went inside the shower and washed my hair and body. After I'm done drying myself up, I went to a connecting door to our joined closet and grabbed something to wear for the night. When I walked out, Althea was in front of the bookshelves, looking for something. "The bathroom is yours." I said as I went to sit on the bed, while drying my hair with a towel.

"Ok, thank you." She went to my side and I gave her the towel. "Wait wait. What's up? You look different." I pulled her hands to turned her body to face me. "It's just, I have to go back to work the day after tomorrow. Who will
Be taking care of Serafima? We could just bring Hynera freely either with you or me but Serafima, she's still just so little."

She's worrying about that? "Honey, this house filled with maids. They can take care of Serafima for us." I assured her. "Go take a shower, ok?" She nodded and went to the bathroom. I decided to walked out of our room towards the balcony  that overlooking the famous Garden of Life in Volin Women's Academy.

I took a deep breath and waited for my wife to be done. "Irina ..... ?" Althea's voice trailed off. "I'm here!" Seconds later she was right beside me, enjoying the night view as well. "Can you believe that just after that huge stone wall, there's  a cruel, cruel world that need us assassin to keep an order of the world?" Her question seems to be a bit off tonight.

"What do you mean?" I questioned back. "Tomorrow is orientation day for the new student. Don't you remember?" Oh yes. I do remembered the interviews and skill test I witnessed behind a one way mirror earlier this month. "They've quite a few of them that will be better if they were trained well and received proper education."

"That's not my point, Irina. Why do we even have to trained one in the first place?" She got a point there. "Well babe, this world is not actually at peace. There's people out there doing awful and horrendous stuff to his or her own kind. That's where we come as. We were hired to kill those irresponsible human being."

"But there's also an assassin that just want to kill for money and fun." Althea placed her hands on mine. "Well, I will end them. Even if it will kill me in process. Well, if they can kill me." I chuckled. "That reminds me of your monthly check up. Do not, I repeat do NOT skip it again." She warned me.

I went to her back and hugged her body as I rest my chin on her shoulder. "I won't. Now, babe, pleasure me. I yearned for your touch." She placed her hands on mine. "Oh ... that's mean you have to be quiet so you won't wake Serafima up." That's going to be a challenge. "Oh come on, we could just roll the crib in the bathroom for a bit." I suggested.

"Irina Volin!" She actually twist my arm's skin with her nails. "Okay okay.. geez! It's just a suggestion." She turned her body and face me. "We could always do it here, again." She referred to the balcony floor. She pushed my body until my back hit the walls. Her other hand were closing the sliding door so Serafima won't hear us.

"Be a doll and strip me." She whispered in my ears. It's easy for her because she's only wearing a bath robe. My eyes glued on her swollen breast. After having Serafima, Althea breast's increased in size and it is heaven for me. It's like I'm having a limited edition pillow to sleep on but of course there's another thing when her breast milk just squirted out for no reason.

I patted the Dean on her shoulder and smiled. "Hey Miss Paris Volin. How's your day today?" The Dean sighed heavily. "These new student will give us a hard time. I don't even know what to do to them. Just this morning, the administration received 5 casualty because they had a fight. Non fatal though." I can see why she's sighing and looking so down.

"It's okay ma'am. Since they will be starting their class soon, it's mine and the others responsibility now." She smiled. "That's what's I'm hoping for." I watched as the new student walked in and find a place to sit. I interviewed some of them but since the other 7 Demon Girls took the other students, I have no clue who's who.

When I saw Angelica and the others walking in the gym, I went to them and just wait for Varvara and Athena to be joining us. Minutes later, Varvara walked in while carrying Athena inside. I was wondering what are they doing. When Varvara placed her wife down, she face her new students and just smile.

"My name is Varvara Volin. And this is my wife, Athena Volin. We're your chairperson. I would like to thank and expressed how proud I am to stand here in front all of you for choosing Volin as your new home." The gym erupted with claps of excitement. "In Volin we have every course to your liking and you can choose whatever course you're interest in. That's the easy part." Varvara turned to Athena.

"Alright, it is compulsory for every single one of you to choose your elective and clubs while you're in Volin. For this I would like to take this opportunity to inform you that we have a new club, tankery. But, there's this one class that you all have to take part on and that's 'Assassin 101'."

It's my cue. "For assassin 101 class, you'll be getting some serious and important lesson from us. You have to be on time, you have to be in focus at all times." The 7 demon girls from a straight line, side by side behind me. "And these lovely ladies will be your instructor. Honestly, you in that white tank top, stop drooling over them. Anyway, we have 2 important rules we greatly what you to obey and follow."

I showed them 1 of my finger. "Before they kill you, kill them first." I showed them two of my fingers. "Do not, I repeat, do NOT question our ways of teaching." I smiled. Angelica handed my katana. "My name is Irina Volin." I removed my katana from its scabbard. "Also known as Seraphim Blade." I heard a couple of them gasped. I looked up while placing the back of my katana on my shoulder with a smile.

"Welcome to Volin Women's Academy."
