"Aera..you need something?" Rose asked as she found Aera standing in the threshold of her room looking at her with a concerned face.

"No..Miss Park. I was wondering if you could explain the bruise on your ankle." She said as she kneeled down in front of her and raised her feet to rest it gently on her thigh. Rose flinched when Aera slightly pressed on the red mark.

"I slipped in the bathroom. Duh." Rose said as she forced a laugh at the end of her sentence but Aera bought none of it. She crossed her arms over her chest and watched Rose as she clumsily fiddled with her cosmetics on the dresser cum vanity making the hairbrush fall on the ground.

"Are you sure?" Aera asked because she was very certain that a perfectionist like Park Roseanne—much like a her brother— acted like this when she messed up something. She carefully monitored her behaviour a habit she had during her previous job.

The way the suspect was biting her perfectly manicured nails occasionally and the hurried way in which she was moving around the room to adjust things which were already at their proper place made things seem a bit uneasy than they should appear.

"Yeah!! Why would you think otherwise? Geez!"

"Ok then. Good Night Miss Park." She said as she walked backwards and closed the door. Standing outside the door she waited for sometime to make out any queer noise that might come out. And as true is the fact that sun rises from the east, Aera heard sobbing from inside the room while the source was choking on them as she tried to silent them.

Something was very wrong. Rose was a person who was outgoing, straightforward and sassy. Yet she had a warm and kind demeanour to her nature that always won hearts. Seeing a person of such a bright personality cry behind closed doors reminded Aera of the fact that just like her everybody has their own demons who haunt them no matter how bright you may be or how nonchalant you may act.

"You aren't going home?" Aera blurted out when she saw Eunwoo standing in the foyer when she was making her way out to the outhouse.

"Why? Are you trying get rid of me?" He asked back only to get a slap behind his head.

"Shut up."

Eunwoo ruffled his hair as he stifled a yawn that erupted from his mouth.

"I am so tired. And I was waiting to bid you goodbye before I went." He said as he placed his hands on his hips like a mother who would scold her kid for shunning her for not buying his favourite toy.

"Ok. Bye." She said as she pushed him aside and made to the door.Yanking the door open, she was met by a cool breeze that hit her face making the cells on her skin tingle with the cold sensation.

It was like the time she had spent in Norway. When she had been trying to survive in the snow storm while she had been hiding in the forlorn caves alone. The thrill and danger both hyped her life providing her a lifetime of Adrenaline.

Although the wind wasn't as harsh as the Norwegian cool blasts but it was enough to make her muscles numb. As she was experiencing the cold biting through her sleeves , she felt a coat covering her from behind and tugging them inwards to make her warm.

"Eunwoo.." she said as she turned only to meet a pair of eyes that reminded her of —Saturn. Yes, the planet Saturn as the rings encircled it, the same way the person's eyes had rings of caramel encircling the mid black pupil.

"Mr. Park." She said as she gulped the knot forming in her throat at the proximity between her and the man. She stepped back to maintain a considerable distance between them. And she sweared that she heard him snicker. He stuffed his hand in the pockets of his sweatpants to keep himself warm.

"Aera...it's very late. You should keep warm or else you will get ill. Who will protect me then?" He asked as he grinned at her.

"Thank you for the concern Mr. Park. But I have been trained for conditions like these." She said as she gently removed the coat from her shoulders and draped it on his body.

"You shouldn't be roaming outside at this time Mr.Park. Please get inside." She said as she gestured him towards the house.

He smiled at her before stepping towards her.
"I don't want to." He said adamantly.

Aera exhaled heavily as she looked at him again. This man maybe the leader behind one of the most successful conglomerates in the world but he was a handful when he was being playful for an instance—now.

"Mr. Park. I believe you have work tomorrow and I don't think you should bail out on your sleep right now, considering you would be jet lag from the flight. I would request you to go inside." She said again.

"I—"

"Mr. Park. Sir, you are here. I had an important query regarding the appraisal that we had been submitted before leaving NYC.
Should I ........come later?" Eunwoo asked as he looked between Jimin and Aera.

"No. Mr. Park was going inside anyway. Ok then. Good night Mr. Park. Good night Mr. Choi." Aera said as she jogged her way to the outhouse.

Jimin sighed in defeat as he turned back to Eunwoo who was trying his hardest to hide his smile from being too prominent infront of his boss.
