EPILOGUE

An year later.......

"Yes...the appraisal will be discussed in the next meeting. I would ask my secretary, Eunwoo to give you further details on it." Jimin said as he struggled to put the buttons on his shirt while holding his phone in one hand.

"I..uhh—" he stopped struggling when Aera held his hand and took the matter in her own hands. With her being close to him, Jimin debated whether to look at her or concentrate on his phone call.

"Hmm? Sorry...I didn't quite hear you." He apologised making Aera snicker as she patted his chest with his shirt perfectly buttoned. She turned around to leave but Jimin held her back by her waist as he waddled them, with his chin resting on her shoulder.

"Yes yes. Let's meet later." He said before hanging up. His other hand came around her as he turned Aera around in his embrace. With her eyes looking down in coy, she rested her hand on his forearm.

His forehead rested on her forehead as he tilted his head to give her nose a subtle kiss making her scrunch it as she kept her eyes closed. His fingers trailing up her arm, he threaded her hair in between his finger, bracing her nape and pulling her closer I'd she wasn't before. Gasping at the sudden proximity between them, Aera looked at him, surprised, but soon averted her eyes down to his chest.

"What are you doing?" She whispered. Feeling his kisses trailing from her temples to her chin, Aera held onto him tighter.

"What do you think I am doing?" He asked while keeping his focus on marking her skin.

"You are trying to find an excuse to be late so that you can bail out on office today." She said as she held his shoulders and distanced herself from her but seeing Jimin whine and pull her closer, she gave up as easily as she did everytime.

"I love you..." she said into his ears as she kissed it in short intervals while his hands rubbed her sides, warming her up. Aera could see the love and affection in his eyes as he gazed at her fondly while pressing kisses on her lips that she accepted and returned back with as much emotion as she could muster.

"I love you more, Mrs. Park."

I know the last chapter had been quite brief and maybe I could have elaborated the chapter a bit more but I have been planning to do special chapters after. The book ended with the plot I had in mind and I hope you found the story worth spending your time on.
