Entering the office, Jimin aggressively flung his coat across the room on his couch and sat down on his desk. He still couldn't believe that he had not seen Aera in the office when he had arrived. Eunwoo did say that she had gone for some work then why was she still absent. It had been a good three hours since her duty hours started.

"It's ok Jimin. Just calm down." He told himself as he rolled his sleeves up to finally start work for the day.

"Sir, there is a Choi Mira who would like to have a meeting at the moment. Should I allow her in?" Eunwoo asked as he stood by Jimin's desk.

Mira. Jimin blinked at the papers he had been going through when he heard the name. Choi Mira, the girl he had loved ever since he had met her on the first day of high school. Their romance had managed to drag along till their college period but then Mira had grown her interest on another guy when they had decided to break things off. Jimin had been madly in love with her but that, apparently, wasn't true the other way around.

"Allow her in." He said as he tapped his pen on his palm.

"Jimin..." he looked up to find the woman he hadn't seen for quite a while now. She had become more beautiful and classy. Of course when her brother Choi Woon sung was one of the most sorted after business men. She was the heiress to the Choi family. She was bound to be beautiful.

"Mira...you look good." He couldn't stop himself from saying that. He felt bad. Very bad. He felt bad because no matter how many times he had thought of going back to Mira over the years, right now, when she was in front of him, he was finding himself too unusually calm. As if her presence wasn't affecting him to the least. She was just like another delegate who had entered his cabin for business purpose.

"Thank you...you look very handsome yourself." She said as she shyly looked down.

"Please come and have a seat." Jimin said as he gestured her to the guest chair.

"What? I want a hug Park Jimin." She said as she walked up to him. He stood up smiling as she wrapped her hands around his neck and hugged him.

On easing out of the embrace, she lightly pressed her lips on his cheeks when the door to his cabin opened. Jimin looked at the door, only to loose his wits at the situation that he was in. He was hugging a woman, who was his ex, while she had her lips placed on his cheek and then there was Aera who was standing at the door.

Aera froze for a moment as she saw the scene in front. A weird churning in her stomach made her blink at them as they quickly separated. She tried very hard to compose herself and trying not to lash out at the woman. But she stopped as she took the woman's face into account.

"Aera..." Jimin was struggling to say something. He had officially declared himself as the most fucked up individual because lately that is what it seemed to him. Last night, he took Mira's name in front of Aera and now she sees him getting kissed on the cheek by the same woman. Not that she knew.

Aera's eyes narrowed for a minuscule size before she walked in. She bowed to both the superiors before facing Jimin, who was looking like an innocent deer who was on the verge of getting killed.

"Sir Park, Mr. Eunwoo gave these files that you had required. I apologise for disturbing you both." She said as she bowed at the woman again.

Mira just waved at her frantically.

"No no! We were not doing anything! Trust me." She said as she nervously smiled at her.

Aera's blank face somehow scared Mira. She was completely clueless as to how the woman was maintaining such a straight face. It was intimidating, she won't lie. She looked at Jimin as she saw how he was looking at the woman whom he had called Aera like a guilty child. And then she had known that probably she meant something to him. The way he was trying to make eye contact with the woman showed how desperate he was to tell her that this was nothing. She was happy. She felt the same way towards her love too. For whom, she was doing this.

"I am no one to judge Miss. I am sorry for interrupting again." Aera said as she bowed back once more before turning on her heels and walking out without giving a second glance to Jimin.

"Next time...if there is someone inside, tell me beforehand." Aera snapped at Eunwoo who gave her a strange look before going back to his work. But he couldn't stop his mouth from twisting into a smirk. At last he had succeeded in making Lee Aera jealous.

"Is Aera in the building?" Jimin asked as he retired from his cabin in the evening with Eunwoo by his side. Eunwoo smirked at him before replying.

"She is present sir. Rather, she is driving us home." He said and he could swear he could see Jimin break into a grin at this from his peripheral view.

"Great."

"Aera...could you meet me in my room?" Jimin asked Aera when Eunwoo had gotten out of the car to escape being a hindrance between the two.

Aera's heart had stopped beating for a moment when she heard Jimin say that to her. She blinked a few times before turning back to face him.

"Pardon, sir?" She asked as she gazed at him.

"You heard me. I am giving you two minutes." He said as he swiftly exited the car and moved up the patio. Jimin mentally pumped his fists in the air as he prepared himself and cleared his throat. He was literally sprinting to his room.

He had decided after Mira had left that he would confess to Aera today no matter what. When he had talked to Mira, he had learned about her boyfriend Hoseok whom she had met in Geonju city. She was gushing over the male so much that he could practically see honey dripping from her eyes. But she looked a bit sad talking about him being away which Jimin concluded was just a phase lovers went through. He felt the same when he didn't see Aera for half a day. And they weren't even lovers. Yet.

His thoughts were cut short when the door to his room opened and a hesitant Aera entered his room. His giddiness over the fact that she was actually standing in front of him was replaced by seriousness as he recalled her not being present in the morning.

"Why weren't you present in the morning when I set out for office?" He asked in his deep voice which he had made to go a bit deeper than usual for the sake of intimidation.

Aera could feel the air thinning out from her lungs when she heard his voice. It was so hot. Her inner fan girl was getting hyped and she had momentarily forgotten that he had asked her a question.

"I had a job to complete, sir." She replied as calmly as she could when she saw him closing in the distance between them.

"Why didn't you look at me when you had come to the office ?" He asked his deep voice in a whisper as he stood at a mere distance from her. Her head was a bit low to his liking so he slid his finger under her chin to lift it up to his eye level.

Aera just wished to all the gods in heaven to not let Jimin hear the beats of her wild heart that was punching at her ribcage. She couldn't deny, Jimin made her go weak in the knees. His two beautiful eyes were just what one needed if they wanted Lee Aera to surrender. She had always outwitted men but in front of Park Jimin she found herself helpless.

"I..I thought you were busy." She said out in a whisper.

"That's not a logical answer. You looked at Mira but you didn't look at me." He said as his eyes roamed her face.

Mira. That name. Aera widened her eyes in realisation that the woman there had been Mira. The woman that Jimin was probably dreaming the previous night. Seeing the slight widening of her eyes, Jimin realised that maybe she was remembering something so he immediately tried to change the subject.

"I thought you would greet me in the morning today." He said as his eyes settled on her lips. They looked very appealing to him and he was having a hard time in keeping himself from closing in the distance between her lips and his.

"She was Mira?" She asked as she held his hand that was holding her chin and brought it down. She couldn't let Jimin play with her feelings if this woman was something more than his friend. Although all these years that she had worked for him she had never met the woman nor had she heard of her name until yesterday.

"Yes....she was my girlfriend back in High school. A childhood friend. She had come for business." He said as he found it very necessary to justify himself at this point that Aera had asked him about her.

"D-Do...you like her still?" Aera found herself asking. Jimin looked at her for a second. This was not the Aera, who would beat people's ass like he had seen. This wasn't the cold woman who hardly gave a smile away. This Aera was more of like a raw self of her.

"No...I like someone else. Well, I actually love her." He said as he walked back to his nightstand making his back face her, a small smile playing on his lips.

"Oh.." Aera sighed as she bit her inner cheek at this revelation.

"But I haven't told her yet. I actually wanted your help." He said as he sat down on the divan at the foot of his bed and patted the place beside him. Aera silently sat down beside him as she kept her gaze on the floor. She hadn't thought she would at last help the man she secretly loved to confess his feelings to a woman.

The irony.

"What do you want my help with?" She asked at last not being able to tolerate the suspense any longer. At this point, she just wanted to get this over with and leave.

"I want to tell her how much I love her. I want to tell her that when I see her I think of ways to approach her but I fail because I think she won't like me. I want to hold her without being skeptical. I want to kiss her without her retorting. I want to make her mine forever but......I don't know how." He said as he kept his eyes on her the whole time he spoke.

Aera was afraid to look at him. She was afraid that she would break down if she did. He was talking about this woman in such a way as if she held his life in her palm. She had never seen him interacting with any women for more than three hours and Jimin never gave them attention other than for business purposes. At this point her brain was trying to come up with all the meetings where a female had been present and the interaction between her and Jimin. But she could remember nothing worthwhile.

"You should just tell her." She said as she looked at him at last. He was staring at her with a love struck gaze but she was oblivious to it. He could see that she was sad. That she wanted to leave. Her restlessness was giving away the fact that she was not in the mood to talk about this.

"Do you want to see her?" He asked as he watched her reaction.

Aera hesitantly nodded her head to which he gave her his iconic eye smile as those cherished Saturns got hidden.

"There she is." He said as he pointed at something in front. Aera followed his pointer only to come face to face with their reflections in the huge mirror placed there. She looked back at Jimin to see him smiling at her. She didn't understand what happened because when she followed his gaze again she found herself looking at him through the mirror.

"I love you Aera..." he said as he turned to look at her.

Aera just watched him dumbfounded as a tear drop tumbled down her cheek. She didn't register what he said. Her brain seemed like short circuiting and getting over heated by this confession. Jimin held her cheeks in his warm palms as he made her face him. He frowned at the sight of her tears as he started to panic.

"Did I upset you? What—"

"I love you too.." Aera replied back after recovering from her shock.

Jimin stopped his rant when he heard Aera speak. He chuckled a bit as he wiped her cheeks dry.

"You do?" He asked as Aera nodded her head cutely at him.

He couldn't believe himself. Aera liked him too. Oh no. She said she loved him. He couldn't have asked for anything more. This was exactly how he wanted. For Aera to be his. He gently pressed his lips on hers. He could feel her lips stretching into a smile and he couldn't help but smile into the kiss too. And that moment, he let go off Mira as he held Aera's hand because his heart now belonged to someone, who always put his life before hers.

"Sir Park?" Jimin blinked at Aera sitting beside him as she looked at him confusingly.

"Hmm?"

"You were saying something about showing me the...the woman you like?" She struggled to say it to him.

Jimin just watched as she looked at him impatiently and then he realised. All that he had experienced was just a fragment of his imagination.
