He was looking out of the ceiling to floor French windows behind his desk, admiring the bustling life of New York City as the blinding yellow and red streaks of cars buzzing through the jostling streets showed how full of life they were. It was always his dream to come and set up a business there and miraculously, he succeeded in doing so.

He watched as a family of three walked down the street below his office, a scene quite ironic to the busy street. It looked as if they were completely unaware of their surroundings and at the same time stood out the most to him. The kid was giggling and skipping between his parents who were admiring him as they walked. Their laughter although was inaudible to him but the feelings were somehow resonating.

He smiled looking at them. A perfect family. It reminded him of his family. The family that he has back in Seoul. The family that he hasn't met for three months now. The family he so desperately wants to embrace.

"Sir, the car is ready."

He turned around to find his secretary standing in front of his desk with his hands clasped in front of him and his head bowing with respect.

"Eunwoo, I have told you. It's Jimin not sir." He said as he stood up from his seat and swung his coat on his shoulder.

Eunwoo smiled at him as he bowed. He smiled back at him as his eyes crinkled making his eyes disappear. He licked his lips in anticipation of meeting someone as they walked down the corridor. The staff all stood up greeting him as he walked by them. He had been there for quite some time and he couldn't deny the welcoming feeling the people of NYC gave him. He was more than satisfied by their hospitality which was something that his Gran stressed a lot about.

"Is she downstairs?" He asked Eunwoo who looked at him in confusion for a moment but then realised the meaning behind the question as he nodded his head in agreement. He nodded back as he exhaled a breath of relief thinking about her. She was there with him when he returned from the factory tour but he had not seen her since. It was quite unusual to his liking.

Making their way out from the building through the lobby, Jimin tried walking faster yet in a subtle manner to not let others know of his eagerness. His feet were trying their best to not fly away. He gulped down the knot in his throat as he neared the exit when his eyes fell upon the sleek black Mercedes parked in the portico.

He looked around to grasp any fragments of her presence anywhere nearby but she was nowhere to be seen. His anticipation instead of getting extinguished just got reverberated to a great extent like pouring petrol over an already blazing fire. The only metaphor that could fit his situation at the moment. He clicked his tongue in annoyance which caught Eunwoo's attention.

"Is there a problem sir?" He asked with a straight face making Jimin look at him. His eyes widened as he hastily shook his head. Standing near the car's door, he looked around for the last time. Eunwoo escorted him as he opened the rear seats door for him. Making sure that Jimin was seated inside, he made his way to the front passenger's seat.

"If you want to know about her whereabouts sir, then don't worry she is with you all the time.Although you might not see her." Eunwoo said as he gave him a tight lipped smile. Jimin furrowed his eyebrows making his forehead wrinkle at the confusion brought upon by his secretary. He looked at him from the rear view mirror to find his face back to the stern mode.

Eunwoo was surely a hard nut to crack. He sighed as he looked out side the window of his car as vehicles buzzed by them. He closed his eyes as he reminisced all the happenings of the day. He felt himself floating as soon as his eyes blocked out the light that was coming through the partially tinted windows of the Mercedes. Surely enough the exhaustion from working too much was taking a big toll on him.

The meetings of the day and the discussions all flashed in his eyes but his memory was obstructed by a roar which he was sure came from a familiar bike. A smile broke out on his face as he looked out of the window yet again just to see a Harley pass by and locate itself infront of his car.

She was there. Always.
