I groaned as the door opening awoke me from my unexpected good nights sleep. I turned tiredly towards the door, bringing a hand up to rub my eyes.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you." Mr. Aizawa's tired voice filled the quiet room. "I was making breakfast, did you want some?" The man kindly offered, his thoughtful behavior slightly offputting.

"Uh- sure." I stuttered, not used to being cooked for. I sat up, yawning loudly. The man only nodded before leaving the room, shutting the door behind him.

I sighed, yesterday's events flashing through my mind. What the hell did I get myself into? Kari is surely in the law's hands by now, safely keeping her away from me. However, her threats still rang through my mind, causing me to nervously fiddle with my comforter. She said that she had connections. People who would make me regret my decisions. Maybe she was bluffing, but what if she wasn't? Everything's really got me on edge.

I grumbled softly under my breath as I dragged myself out of the bed, getting ready for my first day of summer break. We had that training camp soon, but today was another day off, giving me time to settle in. I noticed the extra toiletries that Mr. Aizawa had set in the bathroom. When did he even get the time to put that there?! There only thing I didn't have were clothes.

Once I left my room, Mr. Aizawa had finished making breakfast. My eyes widened as I spotted something hanging on the wall. It literally took all my might not to burst out laughing. I covered my mouth, turning as I tried to hide my cackling expression. There hanging loosely on a hook was a pink frilly apron.

"What the hell are you laughing at?" The man's cold voice hissed, and I choked.

"What the hell is on the wall?!" I broke, not able to keep my laughter in. The man's eye twitched as he crossed his arms.

"Hizashi decided that this would be the perfect birthday gift. He also thought it would be a great idea to make sure this was the only apron I owned." Mr. Aizawa grumbled about Present Mic and I snickered.

"Why aren't you wearing it? You wouldn't want to get your clothes dirty." I snickered, and he sighed.

"I'd rather stain my clothes than put that monstrosity on my body." Mr. Aizawa replied, setting a plate of pancakes in front of me. "Now eat."

I dropped the subject with a roll of my eyes, deciding to dig into the food. I was curious as to how Mr. Aizawa's cooking was. I brought a piece of the pancake to my mouth, cautiously taking a bite. My eyes widened as the sweet taste of the food met my tongue.

"Holy shit, this is amazing!" I exclaimed, not expecting that lazy man's cooking to actually taste delicious. Mr. Aizawa grumbled something about my noise level, before shoving his own pancakes into his mouth.

He finished quickly before getting up and placing his dish in the sink.

"I'm headed out to the school. Lock up if you leave. I'll leave you an extra key." Mr. Aizawa stated as he headed for the door. I nodded slightly, still not used to the new living situation.

"Also, the girls are supposed to be using the pool today until 5:00pm, so get some training in or something. I don't care." He added before leaving. I tilted my head slightly, thinking of Mr. Aizawa's statement. They're using the pool? Should I go? I really have nothing to do right now...

My phone suddenly rang, causing me to jump before quickly fishing it out from my pocket. I blinked at the screen, seeing Uraraka's name flash across the callerID. We had given each other our information not too long ago, Uraraka insisting since we're "besties".

"What." I answered the phone, hearing a content hum from the girl on the other end as I picked up.

"Hey Doku! The girls and I were going to use the pool and were wondering if you'd like to come along? You didn't come to the mall with us, so I was hoping you'd hang out around at the pool today!" Uraraka chimed, and I blinked.

"Uhh..." I thought, not sure if I wanted to splash around with my class the first day that I actually had a safe home.

"Oh come on, Doku! You never want to hang with us outside of school!" Mina's voice yelled from the background. I guess Uraraka was already headed over there with them.

"Or inside school." Tsu added, and my eye twitched slightly at the comment. I let out a deep sigh before answering.

"That's because she's always hanging out with Iiiiida~." Hagakure teased, and I felt my face flush at the comment. I growled lowly, hearing some of the girls scold her for teasing me while they were begging me to come over.

"Fine." I shortly replied, earning multiple cheers from the other end.

"Perfect! We're heading there now, see you soon!" Uraraka giggled before hanging up.

I frowned, letting out a tired sigh as I ran a hand through my hair. They better not be more trouble than it's worth... I'm enjoying my day off for once.

I grumbled complaints under my breath as I walked over to the pool in my school bathingsuit. The rest of the girls wore the same thing as their faces lit up.

"Doku!" They cheered, and I crossed my arms with a scoff. I fought off the blush that threatened to rise to my cheeks, not expecting to be so wanted by my classmates.

"Get in here!" Uraraka grinned from the water as I stood by the edge of the pool. She quickly jumped up and grabbed my arm, yanking me in with her. I screamed as I fell in.

"Uraraka! What the hell?!" I exclaimed as I emerged from the water, slicking my now wet hair from my face.

"Oops, sorry!" The girl gave me a clearly fake apology as she stuck out her tongue. The other girls laughed, and I huffed, shaking my head as a small smile crept onto my face.

The sound of distant chatter caught my attention as I turned to see many boys from our class approach the pool. I guess they wanted to waste their break here too. They chatted with each other as the girls and I stayed on the other side of the pool. We then got out, Yaoyorozu suggesting that we stretch before messing around in the pool.

"Paradise is waiting on the other side of this door!" Two annoying voices suddenly echoed down the hallway leading to the pool.

Tenya stepped into the doorway, blocking our view of whoever just screamed and collapsed onto the concrete, but I had a pretty good guess of who it was.

I narrowed my eyes at Tenya, noticing the dumbass swim cap and goggles he wore. Man he's an excessive dork.

"There you are, slowpokes!" The boy chimed, raising his arm as a greeting. The two other boys groaned, clearly not expecting Tenya to crash their view.

"No, no, no! What the hell are you guys doing here?!" Mineta's voice whined, and I rolled my eyes, my guess unfortunately being right.

"Since we're doing endurance training at the pool, I messaged everyone to see if they wanted to come with us!" Midoriya innocently replied, not visibly aware of what their true intentions were.

"You did what?! Now all our plans are ruined!" Kaminari shook his head in disappointment.

"Don't lose hope yet! There will definitely still be girls splashing around the water!" Mineta reassured Kaminari, his mood immediately switching up.

"Why are they acting like we wouldn't have just thrown them out if it were just the two of them lurking around here being creepy?" I sighed, earning a few snickers from mainly Jiro.

The two boys whipped around, excited to get a look at us in what they probably hoped were sexy bikinis or something. They visibly faltered as they laid eyes upon our school uniform swimsuits.

"Oh hey! Hi Mineta." Tsu greeted the two as their mouths dropped in shock, freezing in devastation.

"I didn't know you guys would be here." Jiro nonchalantly added as we continued stretching.

"Why don't you try drowning since you're here anyways." I insulted, and their faces dimmed in sorrow.

"You know school suits are still pretty hot..." Mineta melted into a smile on the ground, and Kaminari sent him a judging look, clearly not agreeing.

"Kaminari, Mineta! Nice work! I'm proud of you for suggesting more training! You're an asset to our class! Let me thank you!" Tenya grinned as he approached the boys with open arms.

"Now, don't just sit there! It's time to come sweat with us!" Tenya beamed, dragging the boys over to the rest of them as they screamed in protest.

The boys continued to train, leaving the rest of us alone as they dragged Mineta and Kaminari with them.

"Get ready for it!" Uraraka called out, lifting the beach ball in the air. "Serve!" She laughed as she served the ball, Tsu quick to receive it.

The ball bounced around as we kept it in the air, trying to take each other out. I smirked viciously as I spiked the ball down aggressively into Mina's face.

"Ah! Doku!" She choked as she fell backwards into the water with a scream. The other girls laughed as she rose to the surface with a defeated pout.

I lifted myself out from the pool when I realized the boys were taking a break, heading over to greet Tenya. He was currently talking with Midoriya as he handed him an orange soda. Where the hell does he keep getting those?!

I heard them talking about something to do with Tenya's first impressions of Midoriya.

"You didn't always get along with Doku either." Midoirya chuckled, and Tenya smiled.

"Huh?" I perked up at the mention of my name, now standing in front of the two.

"We may not have started out great, but I'm glad I met her." Tenya stated, and my face flushed at his words.

"Quit saying corny shit like that, Tenya!" I exclaimed, waving the boy off as he raised a brow.

"Oh yeah? I think you secretly like it." He remarked, a teasing tone taking over his voice. I tensed, feeling more heat rise to my cheeks.

"Shut up! I'll kill you!" I blushed furiously, and Midoriya only laughed at our interaction.

"Anyways, Midoriya." Tenya turned towards the boy, ignoring my violent threats. "Your strength and drive is admirable. A true inspiration."

"Thanks, Iida. But I'm only here because so many people have helped me get here." Midoriya replied, looking down at his clenched fist. "And that's why, I'll work even harder from now on!"

"You better!" A familiar voice shot through the air, and I audibly groaned.

"The next time I beat you, I want you to be at your strongest! You damn nerd!" Bakugo stomped angrily towards us as he entered the pool area. Midoriya whimpered, shooting his arms out in defense.

"Kacchan!" Midoriya shook, startled by his sudden appearance.

"Great, who invited him?" I frowned, crossing my arms as I narrowed my eyes at the blonde.

"What'd you say, poison girl?! I don't even want to be here!" Bakugo screamed, getting in my face.

"And yet you're still here. How unfortunate." I grumbled, my calm tone clashing with his.

"Hey! Sorry I'm late! It took awhile to convince Bakugo to come out!" Kirishima apologized with a smile, pulling Bakugo back from me as the blonde growled.

"Oh you shouldn't have." I sarcastically mocked, setting Bakugo off further.

"So, Deku! You wanna settle who's the best of us right now?! Huh?!" Bakugo challenged, small explosions firing off in his hands.

"No! That's not it!" Midoriya hastily replied, raising his hands up in surrender.

"Actually. We could make this training a contest." Tenya spoke up, stroking his chin with his hand.

He then challenged the boys to a race in the pool, the rest of them agreeing. However, most of them didn't even end up swimming. They just used their Quirks to launch themselves over the pool, kind of defeating the purpose.

Just when the finals were Bakugo, Midoriya, and Todoroki, Mr. Aizawa showed up. He canceled their Quirks, causing them to fall in with a scream.

I snickered at the scene, thinking they looked stupid.

"What happened?!" Kaminari exclaimed.

"Why aren't they using their Quirks?!" Sero added, looking at the three in confusion.

"It's 5:00pm. Your authorized pool time is officially over." Mr. Aizawa stated as he walked towards us, catching the boys off guard. Tenya immediately straightened up at the sight of our teacher, and I rolled my eyes.

"Hurry up and go home." Mr. Aizawa ordered, and Kaminari whined.

"Oh come on! Just one second!" He pointed to the pool, looking at Mr. Aizawa in disappointment.

"We were just getting to the good part!" Sero complained, making Mr. Aizawa's frown deepened.

"Are you questioning me?" He asked lowly as he glared harshly at the class.

"No! Not at all, Mr. Aizawa!" They quickly replied, scared of the man's wrath.

I only shook my head, ready to go home anyways. I've got a nice peaceful room to get to.
