"Shit." I cursed as I prepared for Todoroki's attack. I created a large needle, about the length of a pole. I felt my energy drain as I summoned such a large needle. I gripped the pole as I sliced down through the ice, protecting myself from its grasp.

"Woah! Check that out ladies and gents! Who knew Doku had such a move up her sleeve!" Present Mic's commentary reached my ears as I panted. The man had been yelling this whole time, I just wasn't listening until now.

"What...?" Todoroki gazed at the hole I made in his attack as his ice filled the arena around us. It was a lot like his match with Sero, except not completely to that extent since I had weakened him. Ice began to creep up Todoroki as he shivered, overusing his Quirk was giving him frostbite. I summoned more needles, jumping up into the air and throwing them at him.

Todoroki didn't bother using his ice to block them knowing it would be useless. Instead he dodged two of them, but a third impaled his shoulder. Damn, he moved. I was aiming to paralyze his ice side, but instead I hit his fire side.

Once I landed, Todoroki stomped his foot on the ground, covering it in ice. I struggled to keep my balance as I slipped a bit. Suddenly, a spike shot up from the ground, and I leaned backwards, narrowly dodging the attack.

"Are you trying to kill me?!" I stared at the boy in shock. If that spike hit me, it would've impaled my face.

Todoroki panted harshly, stumbling a bit as his arm swung limply by his side. He ripped my needle out from his shoulder with a grunt. He suddenly ran at me, reeling his arm back. I dodged his punch, but he quickly changed his course, his fist colliding with my cheek. I winced as my cheek stung harshly.

It was also cold. Really cold.

I brought a hand up to my cheek to feel a chunk of ice beginning to grow across my skin. I gripped the ice, harshly ripping it off my face. I hissed in pain as I ripped my skin off. I threw the ice aside, feeling blood begin to drip from my face.

I wiped the blood away, giving Todoroki a stern look as he narrowed his eyes at me. I created a larger needle, shoving it into the ground to keep my balance on the ice. Todoroki jumped up to kick me and I grabbed his ankle, swinging him then throwing the boy in the opposite direction. He caught himself before flying out of bounds.

I felt dizzy as I created more needles. Using my Quirk so much is taking its toll on me. I panted as I kept my eyes trained on the boy. He ran at me, and I threw two needles at him. He outstretched his arm, preparing to send another ice attack my way. He dodged the needle aimed for his arm, but he didn't seem to notice the other one. My needle successfully impaled his leg, paralyzing it.

Todoroki fell to the ground, his leg giving out under him. However, as he fell and his hand hit the ground, a wave of ice raced my way, catching me off guard. The ice shot up my body, freezing me in place. That was it. I was trapped in Todoroki's ice as he sat up on the ground.

"Doku is immobilized! Todoroki wins and will be moving on to the final round!" Midnight yelled and the crowd went wild. I let out a sigh, feeling exhausted. My face grew hot as my skin froze from the ice around me. I panted, feeling a headache come on. I overused my Quirk and began to develop a fever. I really pushed it with those big needles I summoned.

Todoroki ripped the needle from his leg and some robots with a stretcher helped him up. However, he walked towards me with the help of the robots. He pressed his hand against the ice surrounding me, beginning to melt it.

"I underestimated you." Todoroki stated, his eyes trained on the ice.

"I sure didn't. I knew you'd kick my ass." I replied, leaning my head back.

"That was a close battle. I wouldn't say I "kicked your ass" at all." Todoroki replied and I stared at him for a moment.

"Congrats on the win. I'll definitely root for you rather than Bakugo." I smirked, and he nodded, his eyes softening. Wow, he's not glaring at me for once.

Once I returned from the infirmary, I saw Midoriya and Uraraka, but not Iida.

"Hey, where's that nerd at?" I asked the two, causing them to jump. I guess they didn't see me standing there.

"Oh, Iida? He answered a phone call in the hallway not too long ago." Midoriya replied and I raised a brow.

"He left a little after your round ended." Uraraka added and I sighed. Recovery Girl couldn't treat too many of my injuries since my stamina was pretty low after using my Quirk too much. My fever was annoying and my cheek stung.

"Aight." I replied, walking back up the stairs and to the hallway. I didn't know why, but I felt like I had to go find Iida. Maybe it was because I wanted to talk to him about my match? Was he proud of me?

What?! I don't care about what that loser thinks! I'm just making sure he's not dead. Yeah, that's it.

I soon found the boy wide eyed, leaning against the wall with his hand tangled through his hair.

"Iida?" My voice came out more stern than I expected it to. Dammit, why can't I show concern. Iida looked up, his expression sparking something deep within me. His eyebrows were furrowed in worry and tears brimmed his eyes.

"Woah, are you okay?" I slowly approached the boy and he furiously wiped his eyes.

"It's nothing." He shook his head, his phone still gripped tightly in his hand. The device was off, so I assumed he wasn't on the phone anymore.

"Don't pull that bullshit with me. That's my thing." I crossed my arms and he looked away from me.

"My brother... Tensei-" His voice cracked and he covered his face with his hand.

"Hey." I reached up to the boy's face, placing my hand over his. I slowly removed his hand from his face to see tears streaming down his face. I wiped them away with my thumb and pushed his glasses to the top of his head.

Why the hell am I doing this?!

"A villain..." Iida trailed off. "A villain got him." He finished before breaking out into another cry. I hesitated before bringing him into a hug.

Iida fell to his knees, tightly holding onto my jacket. I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath. I carefully lowered myself to the floor too.

"Follow my breathing since apparently I beat you at everything. Well, maybe except for being a nerd." I inhaled deeply, waiting for Iida to follow. He took a shaky breath in and I slowly exhaled, hearing him follow in my footsteps.

I continued doing that for a little before he calmed down. He wasn't crying anymore, but kept his face pressed into my shoulder.

"I'm sorry, Tenya." I started. He tensed at my use of his first name. "Villains do terrible things. Trust me, I would know. All you have to do now is pray that your brother is all right. I bet that seeing you would lift his spirit. I'm sure he's beyond proud of who you are, and who you'll become." I spoke quietly and Iida's arms wrapped tighter around me. He then pulled away, a ghost of a smile on his face.

"Thank you, Doku. What a surprise that you'd be the one to console me. You know just what to do... a hidden talent one might say." Iida's voice still slightly shook, and I could tell he was still upset about the news. I mean, who wouldn't be?

"I've never done this kind of thing before..." I rubbed the back of my neck in embarrassment as I looked away. "Who knew we'd both cry on each other in the same day." I joked lightly and Iida shook his head before leaning it against the wall behind him.

"I must get going. I need to see Tensei." He looked down the hallway, standing back up. I picked myself up off the ground, wearily looking back at the boy.

"You could use some company. A nerd like you shouldn't be out by themselves." I stated and he lowered his glasses back onto his nose.

"Thank you, but no. You must stay here, Doku. You're in the top three. An accomplishment like that is too great to miss for someone like me." Iida shook his head, looking down at me.

"Tch. Someone like you? Why would I waste my time comforting a loser that I don't give a shit about? You may be a nerd, but you're easily the best nerd." I crossed my arms with a scoff.

Iida's face turned bright red at the compliment as he pressed his hand against his chest. He smiled softly before turning around.

"I've got to go now. I look forward to seeing you on television." Iida stated before walking quickly down the hallway.

I covered my mouth with my hand, staring at the ground in disbelief. Did I just compliment him?! What the hell just happened? I exited the hallway and leaned against the railing that overlooked the seats down below.

"Hey, Doku! Get down here, the final fight is about to start!" Uraraka shouted, waving at me from her seat. Midoriya turned around with a smile and I nodded, making my way down the steps.

"Did you end up finding Iida?" Midoriya asked as I sat down next to Uraraka.

"Yeah I found him pretty quick." I shrugged and Uraraka tilted her head in confusion.

"Where is he? Why isn't he down here with us?" She asked and Midoriya nodded, both of them looking at me in confusion.

"He left." I replied, causing them to gasp.

"What?! Why?!" The exclaimed at the same time.

"He had a- um- family emergency." I replied, not sure what to say.

"Oh. That's too bad. He's going to miss the finale." Uraraka shook her head and Midoriya sighed. I rested my chin in my palm with a sigh.

"So you and Iida sure hang out a lo-" I cut Mineta off, who was leaning over the back of my chair, by lifting my arm and punching him with the back of my fist. He plummeted to the ground with a thud, crying in pain as he held his face. I heard Jiro laugh behind me as Mineta rolled around in pain.

The final match was about to start as the crowd cheered in excitement. I spotted Bakugo and Todoroki walking towards eachother on the platform.

Todoroki seemed pretty healed up since our match. There was quite a bit of time in-between the matches since they had to let Todoroki recover while also melting the ice from his attacks.

"Kick his ass, Todoroki!" I shouted, catching Midoriya and Uraraka off guard.

"You're actually cheering for someone, let alone Todoroki of all people?!" Midoriya exclaimed, shooting me an incredulous look. "I thought you two didn't like each other!"

"I like your spirit, Doku!" Uraraka grinned and began pumping her fists in the air.

"Yeah, Bakugo sucks. Plus, I told Todoroki I'd root for him while he was melting the ice trapping me." I shrugged recalling my statement towards the half and half boy.

"Kacchan sucks...?" Midoriya muttered, repeating my words.

"Yeah, you of all people should know that." I gave Midoriya an unimpressed look as he shook his head.

"I think Kacchan is amazing. I hope I'll be able to beat him one day." He turned away from me and looked down at the arena.

"Of course." I rolled my eyes, sharing a glance with Uraraka who sighed.

"Destroy him, Todoroki!" I cupped my hands over my mouth, shouting at the boy.

Todoroki turned around with a slightly surprised expression, his eyes locking with mine. I smirked down at him and he nodded before turning back to Bakugo.

Well, this is going to be an interesting fight.
