About a week after the football practice incident, Jimin and Taehyung finally decided to meet up at a coffee shop over the weekend for the first tutoring session.

Jimin eagerly waited at a table for two in the cafe, anticipating Taehyung's arrival. He had already ordered his crush and himself a coffee as a friendly gesture, and all that was left was to wait.

Ding! The cafe doors swung open, cueing a ring from the bell that signaled when customers arrived. A cautious Taehyung emerged from the doorway looking left and right, scanning the cafe. Subduing his nerves, Jimin sprang to his feet to greet Taehyung at the door.

"Hey... I, um, ordered some coffee for you!" Jimin shyly presented Taehyung with his coffee cup, earning a smile from the jock. "I wasn't sure what to get you s-so I just... just got you what I usually get, but I can-"

"It's perfect, thank you." Taehyung interrupted Jimin's rambling, taking a sip of the drink.

"Oh, and you don't have to worry. No one from school is here," Jimin confirmed referring to catching the silver-haired boy frantically analyzing the cafe before stepping in.

"Ah, was I that obvious?" Taehyung scratched the back of his head, appearing red in the cheeks. Jimin simply giggled at the somewhat switch of roles as he was usually the one blushing.

The two sat opposite of each other at the high-rise table that Jimin previously selected. Meanwhile, Jimin opened his laptop to begin the tutoring session.

"So, I guess we'll only be studying calculus based off of what Mrs. Lee said, correct?" Jimin questioned the boy sipping coffee across from him. Suddenly, he noticed the unsatisfied expression plastered onto Taehyung's face. "Oh no, is it the coffee? I-I'll go get you something different if you'd like. My treat," Jimin worried.

"No no no," Taehyung soothed, "I just thought that you could help me with every subject and not just math." The boy nervously twirled a piece of his silver hair in his fingers as he confessed to his tutor. "I'm sorry, you probably think I'm so dumb. Just forget it." Taehyung hid his face behind his hands, clearly humiliated.

"Would a dumb person really be taking AP classes? Taehyung, you're one of the brightest kids in the school. It's my job to just push you to your full potential. Of course we can study any subject you'd like!" It saddened Jimin to see the man he so adored completely drained of self confidence. It was no lie that Taehyung was unbelievably smart, he just needed to believe in himself.

"Thank you, Jimin, really." Taehyung replaced his eyes back towards the boy wearing glasses. "And I need to pay you for this coffee... and for putting up with tutoring me for crying out loud." The jock reached for his wallet, but was suddenly stopped by a forceful hand. Jimin held a tight grip onto Taehyung's wrist, preventing him from retrieving any payment. When he finally realized what he was doing, Jimin yanked his hand away from his crush, his gaze falling to the floor. Although the intentions were innocent, Jimin found the touch a bit too intimate for his liking.

"No need, I won't accept it. I'm just doing what any other person would do." Jimin smiled at the offer, but politely denied. Taehyung simply sat dumb-founded due to Jimin's kindness.

The silver-haired boy began to say something , but stopped himself before a single word slipped out. This left the two to just sit quietly, oblivious to what was going through the other's mind.

"Let's get started, shall we?" Jimin finished the short-lived pause in conversation by chiming in with a question.

     "Yes, we shall."
