Sweat trickles down your forehead as you walk down the streets of San Francisco. Your hands had been shaking for a while now but you had gotten used to it. Hazard had been quite chill today and it was getting pretty dark outside. Lights had begun to brighten the streets one by one as your feet hit the puddles on the sidewalk. 'Turn' You hear them say. "Turn?"  you question. "Just turn," Your body forcibly turns into the alleyway on your right and you stop yourself. "What was up with that??" You ask them. "I sensed food."

You furrow your eyebrows. "food?"

"Food!" They hiss. "You hissy bitch, now pay attention."

You wince. "Damn, your harsh today- I was only asking."

Hazard stays quiet as they lead you down the moist walkway deeper and deeper into the city, following their instincts. You only got more wary of what was to come as they moved your body like a puppet with strings. "You said you sensed food where is it?" You ask, your voice echoing off the walls of the city. "Shh- it's close," Hazard quiets you.

"Hazard you know my rule," You whisper. They groan.

"Bad guys only, yadda." You roll your eyes.

As you turn the corner you notice something familiar. It was a large black shadowy figure looming above what seemed to be bodies piled in a corner. Feeling your hands get clammy at the sight you rub them against your jeans. The thing turns around just in time for you to slam your body into the brick wall behind you. Your heart began to race just holding onto the smallest hope that it didn't notice you.

"Who's there," Its voice gurgled out of its throat, its feet slapping towards you slowly. 'Worst case scenario- me using Hazard. Best case scenario...me using Hazard.' You thought quietly to yourself.

"Who's there." The thing growled, its voice low and booming. Much to your dismay, it turns the corner and glares you directly in the eye. You stare at it for a second before shaking your head. "Hazard?" You ask it. It steps forward. "Who the fuck is that?" It retorts back at you.

Hazard slowly drips from your shoulder and looks at you. "Dumbass I'm right here" You squint your eyes in confusion. "Then who the fuck is that??" You point, Hazard, looking in that direction. The things face slowly retracts from itself to reveal an all too familiar male. "We are Venom."

You don't even pay attention to it. "Eddie?!!" You whisper shout. "Holy shit!- I didn't realize that was you! Well, who would? Anyway, you're like me?" You ask.

Eddie's or at least you think it's Eddie, face closed and leaned down to your height. "What?" He growls. "You have a symbiote too." You note.

"Hazard," You call.

"Got it." They enclose themselves fully around you to submerge your body in the deep dark purple ooze that was Hazard. You increase in height to even look at Venom directly in the eyes and smile. "We are Hazard."

Venom slowly morphs back into Eddie Brock and he looks up at you. "Y/n I didn't recognize you at first!" He says up at you. Hazard changes back to you and you smile. "How've you been? It's been a while huh?" He smiles as well.

"Yeah I haven't seen you since college and the...yunno," He trails off.

'The what?' Hazard asks you. "The None of your business." You answer. 'I'm apart of you it's always my business.' they sass back. You sigh. "Sorry, sorry I didn't mean to bring up anything," Eddie cuts in. "It's just good to see you again."

You nod. "They're just being a bit nosey," You tell him. "And it's a long story."

'I ain't goin' anywhere so go right ahead.' They butt in making you laugh. "True. We used to, if I may," You look to Eddie. "Be a thing in college." Hazard's booming voice fills you with laughter making you confused. "Why the hell are you laughing?"

"Venoms doing the same thing," Eddie cuts in. "Don't let it be too personal."

'I can't imagine you with a partner, ever!' They laugh. You frown. "Well it's true and it was before you know, you." You stuff your hands in your pockets. 'Oh don't get your thong in a twist, I'm just teasing.' You roll your eyes, not believing a word.

"So do you live far?" Eddie asks you. You shake your head. "No just a few blocks away from here. Hazard suddenly decided it was dinner time at 1 in the morning." You say making him laugh. "Same here actually," He says. "Venom made me sprint down here." You smile. "Glad I'm not the only one then. Do you live far either?" He shakes his head. "Nope. Homeless." He responds you let out a gasp. "Oh, Eddie... I thought you had that press job down path." You ask. "Thought so too, then Life corps happened, and now my lifes in the shitter. Lost my job, apartment and girlfriend who thinks I used her." He replies.

You sigh. "Thats really horrible. Honestly I'm so sorry that had to happen," You pause and think for a minute. "But...would it be too crazy if I said you could stay with me if you'd like? I have a fold out couch thats not so horrible and a pretty stable job to feed both of us while you find another..." You suggest.

He shakes his head. "I couldn't do that to you. Having two symbiotes wold be too much shit to deal with." You raise a brow at his answer. "I've dealt with one for about a year, what's so bad about two?" You tell him. 'Your uterus looks good right about now.' Hazard threatens. You roll your eyes, and He smiles in response. "I mean if it's alright with you, it's alright with me," You smile. "Just show me the way."

You turn and start walking out of the alley, Eddie right beside you.

I'm back, and so is my bullshit. Anyways hope you enjoyed it, this one will really need a part two so be on the lookout for that. I'm also going to be seeing Crimes of Grindelwald tomorrow so that'll definitely give me some inspiration for a Newt x reader as well.

I also want to address the big elephant in the room on the verge of this chapter. A huge inspiration had left us and it absolutely broke my heart. The incredibly talented Stan Lee past away only a few days ago and I'm still heartbroken. I found out whilst on my way home from school on the bus scrolling through Instagram. At first, I thought it was one of those dumb pranks internet scammers put up but after a few posts, I had seen that multiple people I knew were now posting about the news. He was probably one of my many great influencers to inspire me to do something incredible with my life and not just sit around in the background. I wasn't sad, I didn't cry, I was grateful that I even had gotten the chance to be in the generation that sparked up this incredible franchise he had built and see the many many characters come to life that made my heart soar.

My dad had even gotten the chance to meet him many a time thanks to his job and say that his children had grown up Marvel fans.
