Warning: some swearing

Friday night

You, Sherlock, Mary and Molly were all sitting with John in his basement because you had nothing better to do with your Friday night.

Well, everyone except Sherlock, who was perpetually bored with whatever game the five of you had thought up to entertain yourselves with.

"I don't understand how you find this entertaining at all." Sherlock complained, taking a seat between you and John. Molly was on your other side, and across from you was Mary.

John rolled his eyes. "It's just to pass time."

"The last time I played this game, I was 7."

"I'll go first, then." John said, reaching to spin the bottle sitting in the middle of the circle. He spun it, and it landed on Molly. "Truth or dare."

"She's going to pick truth, John. God, this is so predictable." The only reason he'd even agreed to come here in the first place is because you and John were going to be there.

"Sherl, just let her go." You said. You were the only one allowed to call him that.

"He's right, I'll go with truth." Molly said, smiling a little.

"Alright...who—"

"Graham." Sherlock interrupted John.

"What?"

"You were going to ask who she has a crush on. It's Graham."

John paused. "Who the hell is Graham?"

"He means Greg." You said.

Sherlock looked at you, confused. "His name is Greg?"

"Yes."

"What kind of a name is Greg?"

"Okay, fine! Molly, what's your address?" John asked. "

"Umm, do I—do I need to answer."

"Go ahead. I actually don't know this. Never bothered to visit Molly before." Sherlock said, you nudged him a bit warranting a look from him.

Once Molly had given her address, she spun the bottle, and it landed on Sherlock.

"Truth or dare?" She asked.

"Easy. Dare."

"Alright...you have to sneak into someone's room."

"Easy." Sherlock replied.

"Through the window."

"Obviously."

"It has to be your crush."

"..."

"And it has to be done at night. And it has to be before Monday."

"..."

"And you have to kiss them."

"What if I don't have a crush?" Sherlock asked. "I don't feel attraction the same way you do, Molly."

"But you do have a crush, Sherlock." Mary said, giving him a knowing look. "Or did you forget about—"

"No." Sherlock quickly interrupted.

"And Mary has to film you doing it so that we have proof." Molly added.

"Wait, Sherlock has a crush?" John asked, looking over at Mary, she only smiled a little.

"It doesn't matter. What if Mary doesn't want to film me?"

"I don't mind." Mary insisted.

Sherlock shot her a glare, and she winked.

Sherlock then turned his attention to Molly. "What makes you think it isn't Mary?"

You couldn't help but snicker, warring another look from Sherlock. "It isn't Mary." You stated.

"You're not her type." Molly agreed.

He huffed, and John and Mary started discussing the

His intense gaze lingered on you, as John and Mary discussed each person's punishment for not completing a dare. Sherlock tried to hide it, but judging by the look he gave at the sound of his, he wouldn't be chickening out.

None of the other dares were nearly as interesting.

Sunday

Sherlock came over to work on a chemistry project.

You weren't as good as him...actually you were pretty bad, but he didn't mind helping you since you actually listened to what he had to say, and pulled your own weight once you understood what you were doing. He also liked listening to you complaining about the teacher, while complimenting him on being a better teacher.

"Have you done it yet?" You asked. The curiosity had been burning you all weekend.

"Done what?"

"Your dare."

He sighed. "No."

"I don't think John and Mary were kidding about your parameters."

"They weren't."

"Who is it, anyway?"

"You'll figure it out soon enough." He peeked over at your paper. "You got that equation wrong."

You frowned. "Did I?"

He explained it, and your paper improved from that point on.

He stayed a while later after your project was done, and after having dinner (something your parents insisted on),  he walked back home.

It wasn't uncommon for you to wake up to his texts saying he was outside, your room was on the second floor, but you would look out the window and see him standing in your driveway.

Sunday night

You woke up to the sound of something hitting the side of your house. Your heart was pounding, but after a few moments of quiet, you calmed down a bit. You slowly got up and started walking to the window when there was a knock.

Sherlock's knock.

The two of you have a "safe" knock. You paused when you heard it before you went to open the window.

"Sherlock? What are you doing?"

"My dare."

"What? I—"

Sherlock leaned forward and kissed you quickly on the lips.

When he pulled away, you saw Mary on the ground with her phone out, smiling like Christmas came early.

"Wait, you...you like me?"

"Was it not obvious?"

"It might have been, I don't know."

He nodded.

"Well?"

"Well what?"

"Are you actually going to kiss me, or were you only going to be chafe?"

"I...you like me?"

"I thought you could read me."

"You're pretty difficult to read."

You smile, and pull him towards you into an actual kiss.

"Where'd you get that ladder, anyway?" You asked when the kiss broke.

"It was on the side of your house."

"Of course."

He nodded, and there was a moment of silence between the two of you before you remembered you have school tomorrow.

"Hey, Sherlock, I think you should go now, it's still a school night."

"Right..."

You looked at him, realizing he wasn't going to do it. "Do you want to go out after school?"

"On a date."

"Yes, on a dae."

He looked up, though you could see his eyes lighten up.

"Or, we could have a stargazing date tonight."

"I have a test tomorrow, Sherlock."

"You don't need school, you have enough intellect on your own."

"I'll see you tomorrow."

He looked back at you and smiled. "See you tomorrow. Have a goodnight, y/n."

"You, too Holmes."
